Wycombe keeper Matt Ingram produced a vital late save to maintain his side's unbeaten league record in a 0-0 draw at Crawley.
Ingram denied striker Roarie Deacon in a one-on-one situation with two minutes remaining of the clubs first-ever league meeting.
Wycombe should have taken the lead after only 10 minutes when a cross by Garry Thompson set midfielder Sam Wood up inside the six-yard box, but he sliced his shot wide of the post.
Ingram later saved a left-foot shot from Lewis Young before Crawley's Welsh winger Ewion Edwards put a left-foot cross-shot wide.
Crawley keeper Freddie Woodman, on loan from Newcastle, kept his side on terms by parrying a goal-bound drive from Thompson before reacting quickly to smother a follow-up attempt by Aaron Amadi-Holloway.
Woodman was in action again shortly after the break, this time blocking a low left-footed effort by Amadi-Holloway with his legs.
Young was wasteful for Crawley just after the hour mark when he put the ball over following a pass by Deacon.
Young, set up by Edwards, threatened again late on but his low shot was taken by Ingram.
