CSKA Moscow remain rooted to the foot of UEFA Champions League Group G following a 2-1 defeat to Internazionale.
Things began well for the Russians with Joao Jo firing them in front, but second half goals from Hernan Crespo and Walter Samuel secured the points.
Despite a lively opening to the proceedings in Moscow first half chances were few and far between.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic skied the ball over at one end while Daniel Carvalho's free-kick was comfortable for Inter keeper Julio Cesar.
Yuri Zhirkov should have done better after being teed up by Dudu, however, his near post effort went the wrong side of Cesar's post.
Home fans did not have to wait long for a goal with Brazilian striker Jo curling home into the far corner of the net after the 20-year-old was picked out by Carvalho.
Inter finished the half the stronger with Crespo finding the side-netting from Maxwell's deep cross, before Veniamin Mandrykin kept out Ibrahimovic's back post header.
The visitors picked up where they left off in the first half with Crespo punishing a poor defensive header from Milos Krasic by lashing home past Mandrykin.
Inter should have doubled their lead shortly after, but substitute Dejan Stankovic completely missed the ball from point-blank range from Ibrahimovic's knock-down.
Elver Rahimic came close to testing Julio Cesar at the other end, but it was all Inter, although Ibrahimovic could have done better with his effort from Stankovic's right-wing cross.
The visitors clinched the points late on when Mandrykin somehow allowed Samuel's goal-bound header from Figo's cross to tamely slip through his fingers into the net.
