Rovers hoping to bounce back against Forest

Nottingham Forest will be looking to inflict a third successive defeat on Doncaster when the sides meet at the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday. After back-to-back defeats at QPR and Coventry in the last week, Rovers are now chasing their first win in four league matches. 11th-placed Forest are unbeaten since their opening day defeat at Burnley, however they have not win in their last four trips to Doncaster. Rovers defender Shelton Martis will miss the home clash due to a groin injury. Centre-half Martis was forced out of the action midway through the first half of the midweek defeat at Coventry, but Byron Webster returned to the bench on Tuesday following a long-term foot injury and could step in.

Tinker

Mustapha Dumbuya replaced Martis at Coventry and manager Sean O'Driscoll could decide to keep him in a central defensive role alongside Adam Lockwood. O'Driscoll has no other new injury or suspension problems, but defenders James Chambers and Wayne Thomas both remain sidelined due to respective knee injuries. Forest boss Billy Davies has no new problems following the home draw against Sheffield United in midweek, but could make changes for the trip to South Yorkshire. Following the game against the Blades, Davies revealed he had been tempted to tinker with his side. However, he opted to stick with the team that defeated Swansea just three days earlier. Nathan Tyson recovered from the virus that kept him out against the Swans to make a second-half substitute appearance on Tuesday night and is one of those in the frame for a recall, along with fit-again Kelvin Wilson, Radoslaw Majewski, Garath McCleary and Dele Adebola. David McGoldrick has recovered from shoulder surgery and has been on the bench for the last two matches, making a 75th-minute appearance against Swansea. However, it could still be too soon for the striker to be considered for a starting role. Striker Robert Earnshaw (thigh) remains the only absentee.
