The 25-year-old OFI Crete shot-stopper said he 'fulfilled a dream' when he earned his first call up to the Greek squad for the friendly victory over Portugal in March.
Tzorvas was predicted to be the next big thing for Greece following his emergence at Panathinaikos, but he struggled to dislodge Antonios Nikopolidis and Konstantinos Chalkias - who were both at the club at the time - and was sent out on a number of different loan moves.
However, after leaving Panathinaikos on a permanent deal in 2007, Tzorvas has produced a run of fine form to earn his international call-up.
His inclusion will anger Olympiakos fans as Tzorvas once took advantage of the bitter Athens rivalry by kissing Panathinaikos' famous shamrock badge in front of rival supporters.
Tzorvas is expected to be third choice behind Chalkias and Nikopolidis and he may be forced to wait for future tournaments to gain a starting opportunity.
