Versatile performer Larsson will be hoping to carry his fine form in the Premier League into this summer's finals.
Larsson has impressed this season for struggling Birmingham with a number of eye-catching showings.
The midfielder was brought over to England by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger after emerging at IFK Eskilstuna.
Larsson made his Arsenal debut against Manchester City in 2004, but struggled to break into Wenger's star-studded line-up.
He was loaned out to Birmingham to gain valuable first-team experience in 2006 and he helped Blues win promotion back to the Premier League with some sterling performances in the Championship.
In the summer of 2007 Birmingham made his loan switch a permanent deal and Larsson has gone to establish himself as a key member of the St Andrews squad.
The 22-year-old has shown he has an eye for goal netting five goals for Birmingham including a spectacular winner against Tottenham.
Larsson won his first call-up to the Sweden squad for the Euro 2008 qualifier against Liechtenstein, but he was an unused substitute in the game.
The all-action midfielder made his international debut in the friendly against Turkey in February and he looks like he is going to be a mainstay of the Sweden squad for some time.
If he does not make Sweden's starting XI in Austria and Switzerland he could be a useful option from the bench with his versatility energy and industry.
