Italy boss Marcello Lippi has called-up midfielder Claudio Marchisio and defender Domenico Criscito for the first time into the national senior squad.
The pair, both Under 21 international regulars, have been included in the squad to face Switzerland in a friendly on Wednesday.
Davide Santon of Inter and Cagliari goalkeeper Federico Marchetti keep their places in the squad.,
New Liverpool signing Alberto Aquilani, who is still injured, and his team-mate Andrea Dossena are both missing, while Luca Toni is also left out after dropping down the pecking order at Bayern Munich.
