City hold on and the referee brings the game to an end. A goal from Aguero and a double from Dzeko saw City past the home side, surely City can't slip up now especially after such an unconvincing performance today.
Everton are sure they should have won a throw in as they look to finish strongly but the referee awards it to City who duly continue to run the clock down.
Silva breaks free from the Everton defence on the edge of the box but his snap shot is well blocked and City come away with a corner.
Six minutes of added time still left to play, City can thank Dzeko for the extended time they'll have to play
Fernandinho does well to break up an Everton attack and continues with the ball before trying to put Dzeko through but Howard comes out of goal and intercepts the ball.
Deulofeu dances through the City defence with a burst of acceleration but his shot is well saved by Hart.
The whole Dzeko injury saga looks to have given the fans a lease of life and a chorus of boos greets Dzeko whenever he touches the ball.
There is a stoppage in play with Dzeko down on the ground, but he looks like he's going to be booked for his challenge on Barkley.
Dzeko is starting to look isolated up front but he's doing well to make the most of any ball that is played in to him.
Everton's second goal has instilled a bit of urgency back in City who are slowly looking to get some momentum back in the game.
Silva is introduced into the action as City look to see out the game and he takes the place of Nasri.
Demichelis takes on a shot after Milner's corner eventually drops to the defender but Stones is able to block the ball on the six-yard line.
Everton's midfield are looking to get the home side back on level terms as Osman attempts to drive the team forward.
Demichelis is booked for protesting the Everton goal, which was a close one, but looked as though it was Osman offside not the goalscorer Lukaku.
Hopefully the goal will spark some life into both sides who have been cruising through the second half with both sides failing to pose a threat.
GOAL!!! Lukaku! Everton get a goal back after Baines plays in a brilliant cross for Lukaku who nods the ball low past Hart.
City look content with what they have and are continuing to invite Everton on to them, it could be a case of tactics being swapped as City will be happy to look to counter Everton on the break as the game progresses.
Barkley looks like he could have a say on the match and an attempted through ball from the midfielder to Lukaku is overhit and goes out for a goal kick.
The City defence still looks shaky when Everton look to put them under pressure. The Toffees could still give City a few scares in this game.
Toure takes Osman down the outside and looks to pick out Dzeko in the box but he just overhits his pass.
GOAL!!! Dzeko! The big forward grabs his second of the match after Nasri feeds in a near post cross and Dzeko has the easiest of tasks to tap the ball past Howard from close range.
Barkley breaks the Man City defence and threads the pass to Naismith who looks to bend the shot past Hart, but the City keeper gets a finger tip to push it round for a corner.
Kevin says: 'I'm really disappointed with both the Everton players and fans. The players just aren't trying at all and are quite happy to just pass it around in midfield and wait for Man City to nick the ball and attack, the fans aren't doing anything either, the stadium might as well be empty. Would Everton really throw the game just to spite Liverpool? I'm sorry but it seems they would!'
Dave in Edinburgh says: 'I think there is a problem with my tv as all I can hear is the away support?! Jokes aside the Everton crowd need to let themselves be heard to give the team a boost, they could be the difference!!'
And that is half-time, you can't accuse Everton for not having after taking the lead through Barkley, but City have come straight back into this game with goals from Aguero and Dzeko giving them the lead at the interval.
Stones finds himself on the right wing and looks to play a cross into Lukaku but the Belgian skies the ball.
GOAL!!! Dzeko! The big forward tries a shot earlier in the play but is saved well, before Milner puts the ball back into the box and Dzeko accurately heads the ball past Howard.
Naismith tries his luck from long range but his shot doesn't trouble Hart and goes out for a goal kick.
Both teams are struggling to take any risks at the moment as City look nervous and Everton look baffled by the lack of noise from the home support.
Stones embarks on a run at the City defence and looks to play Lukaku through, but the forward mistimes his run and is offside.
City enjoy a good period of possession and after some neat touches Nasri works a shooting opportunity but he curls the ball well off target.
Everton are struggling to mount a threat on the City goal at the moment with all the action coming at the other end.
Toure is becoming more influential as the game goes on and everything City are doing in attack is coming through him.
Milner plays in Toure who puts the ball dangerously across the box but Dzeko doesn't anticipate the cross.
GOAL!!! AGUERO! Toure plays in the Argentine who beats the offside trap and smashes the ball past Howard who is beaten by the pace of the ball at the near post.
Barkley runs at the City defence but Kompany puts in a vital last-ditch tackle to stop the midfielder going through on goal.
Everton are enjoying a spell of possession, but they're not pushing too far into City's half. It looks like they're waiting for their opponents to wrestle the ball from them.
City are on the attack again and their defensive line is almost camped on the half-way line, but that does continue to leave them open for any counter attacks.
Man City are enjoying a sustained spell in the Everton half, but Toure's header from Milner's cross is easily dealt with.
The goal seemed to come from nothing but the Everton man has curled the ball beautifully into the top corner and the Goodison crowd have sparked into life.
GOAL!!! Barkley hits an unstoppable effort from 20 yards out and it bends just out of the reach of Hart.
Manchester City have a corner taken from Milner which is met by Garcia, but his header is straight at Howard.
Everton are so far doing a good job of containing any possession City have in their half, but the away side are pressing hard to win it back.
Lukaku neatly spreads the ball wide into Baines' feet who crosses the ball to Naismith who tries a first-time shot, but his effort is well off target.
A strangely subdued atmosphere in the ground at the moment, not much noise from the Goodison faithful.
City are already looking to camp inside the Everton half with the Toffees looking to counter on their opponents.
Aguero fires a cross across the six-yard box and the pace of the ball takes it past Dzeko and out for a throw in.
Looks like another attacking line up from Martinez with the two full backs taking up advanced positions.
Dave says: 'I am hoping for an Everton win as a Liverpool fan I would like the Blues to do us a favour and also boot their chances of CL , anything to wipe that smug grin of Wengers face ! C'mon you Toffee's !!! 2-0 please guys'
Bernie says: 'This will be a great game and I'm sure everyone will enjoy it. I think the Everton 343 formation will make it difficult for City. Everton will score the first goal and the Goodison faithful will lift the roof off carrying them to a 2-1 win.'
Not long to go now before kick-off at Goodison and this one could be a vital game in deciding the Premier League title for the season, will Everton help their neighbours Liverpool or will City be too strong?
Billy in Derby says: 'City to win and do us Gooners a favour for that fourth spot. Besides couldn't stand Liverpool winning the league.'
Chris Green from Huddersfield say: 'Man City to win 3-1, with Nasri and Dzeko (2) scoring the goals.'
James Taylor says: 'It'll be a 1-0 win for Everton, As long as the everton midfield can keep Yaya Toure quiet!'
Cian says: 'As a Liverpool fan, really hope Everton can do it today and I'm confident they will. I'll go 2-0 Everton. Lukaku and Barkley.'
Stewart MacLaren from Torrevieja in Spain says: 'Everton will beat Man City 2-1 at Goodison Park this Evening with good goals from Ross Barkley & Romelu Lukaku.'
