Exeter striker Daniel Nardiello is expected to miss out, while Charlton are sweating over Rob Elliot.

Nardiello likely to be out for Grecians; Addicks wait on keeper

Exeter striker Daniel Nardiello is expected to miss the weekend visit of Charlton. Nardiello is yet to recover from the groin strain that has seen him sidelined for the Grecians' midweek Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over Yeovil and the League One defeat at Leyton Orient last weekend. Fellow striker Marcus Stewart is still sidelined with a toe injury, leaving Jamie Cureton to continue up front following his two-goal salvo against the Glovers. Defender Matt Taylor is a doubt after suffering from back spasms, but City's back-line will be bolstered by Richard Duffy who returns from a one-match ban. Troy Archibald-Henville started his first game after nine months on the sidelines with a knee injury against Yeovil, and boss Paul Tisdale is expected to continue with him at the heart of the Grecians' defence.

    Charlton news

Charlton Athletic manager Phil Parkinson is sweating over the fitness of goalkeeper Rob Elliot for the trip to St James Park. Elliot is still struggling with the back injury that ruled him out of Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy win against Dagenham. Ross Worner deputised for the cup encounter and could make his league debut if Elliot is unfit. New signing Paul Benson could also make his league debut after making his Addicks bow against the Daggers. There are no new injury worries for Parkinson, but long-term casualty Kelly Youga is still sidelined with a knee injury that has kept him out since last November.
