Exeter sit nervously just above the League Two relegation zone as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Cheltenham.

Exeter started the first half well and got their rewards with the opening goal in the 12th minute when Craig Woodman swung a cross to the back post with his left foot and Jordan Moore-Taylor diverted it into the bottom corner for his first career goal. Exeter failed to build on that start though and conceded a soft equaliser. They failed to clear a long ball forward and Byron Harrison nipped in to poke the ball into the bottom corner from 18 yards. The second half was equally as close with both teams missing good chances. Former Exeter striker Jamie Cureton was twice off target with good opportunities, but the best chance of the second half fell to Exeter's makeshift forward Scot Bennett. He reacted quickest when Scott Brown spilled a Tom Nichols shot, but with the goal at his mercy, Bennett poked the rebound wide.
