Quakers start road to recovery at St James Park

Exeter will be looking to pile further misery on Darlington this weekend as the two sides go head-to-head. The Grecians have moved back into the play-off places this week, courtesy of the Quakers' financial woes, and will be looking to stretch a five-game unbeaten run on Saturday. Darlington have slipped out of the top seven after being handed a 10-point deduction by the FA for entering administration. Dave Penney's side now have 13 games in which to claw their way back into the promotion picture.

Exeter team news

Exeter have been boosted by the return of experienced central defender Rob Edwards. Edwards was immediately re-instated in the City defence for the 0-0 draw at Chester last weekend after completing his one-match suspension. Danny Seaborne came on as a second-half substitute for wing-back Steve Tully in that game and is once again in contention for City. On-loan Tottenham defender Troy Archibald-Henville has been ruled out by a groin strain recently but is set to be welcomed back into the fold.
Darlington team news
Darlington will be without striker Liam Hatch as they turn their attention back to matters on the pitch. Penney will be without the injured Hatch, who is ruled out with a collar bone problem. Ricky Ravenhill is suspended, while fellow midfielder Rob Purdie is a doubt with a leg injury. However, Penney is boosted by the probable inclusion of striker Pawel Abbott after he overcame tonsillitis to feature in the midweek 2-1 defeat to Rochdale. The Quakers now lie 11th in League Two and have won three of their last six league outings.
