Exeter v Lincoln preview: League Two play-off semi-final second leg live on Sky Sports Football

Exeter City v Lincoln Town

Lincoln go to Exeter for the second leg of their League Two play-off semi-final after a goalless first leg on Saturday.

Exeter are aiming for a return to the third tier after a six-year absence, while Lincoln are looking for back-to-back promotions after coming up from the National League under Danny Cowley last term.

Exeter will hope defender Troy Brown is fit again, but manager Paul Tisdale may opt to continue with Jordan Storey after the youngster's impressive form.

Lincoln have no major injury concerns following Saturday's first leg; Sam Habergham and Lee Frecklington are both hoping to return to fitness for the clash.

Exeter, who also drew their first leg away from home in the League Two play-offs last season, won their only other home match in the play-offs, beating Carlisle United 3-2 before losing in the final to Blackpool.

The 0-0 draw between the sides in the first leg was the Grecians' first clean sheet in the Football League play-offs, having conceded 2+ goals in each of their other three games.

Prutton's prediction

It wasn't a thriller by any means at Sincil Bank on Saturday, but it's a result that's left this tie balanced firmly on a knife edge heading to Thursday's second leg.

It's a long old journey for Lincoln all the way down to Exeter and the Grecians will fancy their chances of getting the victory at home. And I think they'll do just that to make the play-off final once again.

David Prutton predicts: 2-1 and Exeter to progress 2-1 on aggregate (9/1 with Sky Bet)
