And that, as they say, is that. Not the finest game but a wonderful result for Paulo Sergio's men. Thanks for joining me.
Hearts 2 - Celtic 0. The home side created very little in the second half prior to going ahead through Skacel but Celtic had very little creativity going forward and were even worse at the back.
Wanyama breaks up play again and Celtic have one last throw of the dice, with McCourt eventually losing out.
Celtic know they're beaten and Hearts can enjoy their best spell of domination. MacDonald clears long.
Forster punts it long but the ball breaks to Obua, who runs at goal before shooting when he could've laid in Smith to make it 3-0.
Hamill, probably the games best player, tries an audacious chip and it's a goal kick to Celtic. Four minutes added.
Wanyama helps switch the ball to McCourt before getting it back. Celtic attack down the right but it runs out for a throw. They've lacked creativity and have defended abysmally, to the delight of Hearts and Rangers fans.
Mulgrew wins and takes a free kick but it is blocked. He then launches a long throw which MacDonald collects.
I'm taking nothing away from a hard-working Hearts side, but there's no doubt Celtic should've prevented both goals. Fair play to the home team though.
John writes: Hi, I am making Jam Tarts for tea in Zambia to celebrate a fantastic result so far and remember we scored against 11 men. 3-0 Celtic?
Celtic break with McCourt but Hearts have worked tirelessly and win it back before Wanyama brings down Black.
Mulgrew with the corner but Majstorovic is harshly adjudged to have committed a foul when leaping to head goalwards.
Free kick for the visitors which Mulgrew crosses into the box only for Hearts to clear for a corner.
GOAL Stevenson! Well, Celtic will not want to see a DVD of their defensive performance today. A long, harmless ball somehow leaves Wilson with two on one and his efforts to block out a pass are poor at best. Stevenson collects, rounds a defender and blasts home. Game over.
Mulgrew wins his side a throw in but Hearts have 10 men behind the ball and are proving hard to break down, especially as Stokes plays a terrible ball that serves only to give the ball to Hearts.
Celtic have to build from the back through Mulgrew but eventually they lose out and Hearts have it back, as Paddy McCourt readies himself for action. He's on for El Kaddouri.
Rudi Skacel is off with David Obua replacing him. He was a tad fortunate to still be on the pitch and generally had little impact on the game, except for scoring what could be the winning goal as Ki fires over.
Wanyama's header is deflected wide and Ki gets another go,this time failing to beat the near-post man and Hearts eventually win a throw in.
Hearts attack and Hamill's cross is cleared in heroic fashion by Majstorovic. The home side come again through Hamill but it falls harmlessly to Ki and Celtic break in excellent fashion, with Hamill having to run 100 yards across the pitch to prevent a chance and it's a corner.
The corner from Ki is too deep and Hearts can break, Black eventually winning a throw in for the hosts.
Celtic are still dominating but they've created just two chances all game and it isn't getting easier with 10 men. This time Wilson finds space on the right but his cross is parried wide for a corner.
Throw in for Celtic deep inside the Hearts half but when it breaks to Stokes he tosses it over. Meanwhile Mark Wilson is on for the injured Adam Matthews.
Matthews receives treatment having been brought down by Templeton. Hearts won't mind this delay and their owner, Vladimir Romanov, is on his way home!
Free kick for Hearts after El Kaddouri looked to break for Celtic. It's 40 yards out and Hamill throws it into the box and onto the head of Webster, who heads over.
Stevenson finds space as Celtic throw men forward but Majstorovic blocks his shot. Throw in for Hearts.
Throw in for Celtic down the left and El Kaddouri finds Ki, who gives it back before exchanging passes with Hooper and putting in a great cross which Hearts do well to clear.
So Celtic are 10 points behind Rangers and have 25 minutes to get something with 10 men. Can they do it?
Straight red for Kris Commons and everyone could see it coming. The midfielder loses the ball on halfway before losing his composure too and lunging two-footed, high, onto the shin of Mrowiec. Correct decision and he should be ashamed.
Forrest and Commons have switched flanks for now but the former can't find a Celtic shirt after working space.
Commons is lively and this time breaks down the right, only to lose the ball. Hearts throw one forward but Mrowiec is offside.
Wanyama concedes a free kick on halfway and Hearts launch a diagonal ball into the Celtic box, one which falls to Templeton who wins a throw in.
Corner for Celtic as MacDonald can't keep a deflected cross in play. Commons out to take it and his ball is good, finding Stokes five yards out. He's under pressure though and can't keep it down.
GOAL Skacel! Well well well. Hearts have done zero this half, absolutely zero. A punt into the box finds Templeton's feet, somehow, and he lays it off to Skacel. He finds the bottom corner from 20 yards.
Hearts have offered nothing so far this half and another launch forward from MacDonald is dealt with. Commons plays Forrest in down the right before collecting the cross, but he can't get his shot away and a deflection means Hearts have a goal kick.
Celtic break down the left before Commons attempts an overhead kick. Here's a question, why isn't it outlawed? The high foot is, and an overhead kick requires a rather high foot. It's a free kick which Hearts clear.
Much, much better from Celtic who are keen to keep it down. They look to break having collected a high ball but Templeton is down and the referee brings proceedings to a halt.
Bangura finds space for a shot which is blocked but he gets another chance, which is deflected over. From the resulting corner, Hearts are able to clear.
Celtic win a throw down the left and it results in a corner after Hamill clears. Commons is over to take it but the delivery is poor. Hearts clear.
It comes to nothing as Hooper is surrounded by defenders. Hearts clear before Mulgrew is kicked in the head by Skacel, who is on a yellow already. Dangerous, and he's lucky to escape unpunished - just as Mulgrew is uninjured.
Celtic attack down the left and it's nice interplay before Ki's shot is blocked. They come again through Matthews who wins a throw deep inside the Hearts half.
Forrest finds space down the right but his run is blocked and Hearts clear, only for Celtic to attack again before Commons forces a save from MacDonald. Lively start to the second 45 from the visitors.
I think we can rule out 6-6, personally! Celtic play it back to Forster, whose punt down field finds Hooper and eventually Celtic win a throw.
Adam writes: Hi there. I think this game is gonna be hard for Celtic but no easier for Hearts. This could be 1-1 or 6-6 you never know.
Skacel, who has been quiet, combines with Stevenson but Celtic intercept and switch it to Matthews, whose cross is poor.
Whether they're under instruction to do so I do not know, but Celtic keen to knock it around at the start of the second period. Eventually it goes out for a Hearts throw.
It's 22 years since the last 0-0 at Tynecastle between this sides. Let's hope that sequence continues as Celtic get us underway.
At this stage Charlie I'm going to offer to eat my hat if there are three goals in this match. One max is my call.
Charlie says: Celtic's first half performance hasn't really been up to the standard we would expect from them, the only decent chance fell to Bangura when James Forrest put a great ball into the box. But I think this will change, Stokes to come on and Celtic to win 3-0.
Commons finds space again but can't find Bangura and that's half time. Very little creativity on display, one chance for each side, and ultimately an affair to match the weather.
Celtic win a throw down the right and Ki goes backwards in order to keep it. Eventually Commons finds El Kaddouri but he'd waited too long and it's offside.
Hearts have space on the edge of Celtic's box but confusion means the away side break through Forrest. Excellent defending from Grainger though and he wins a free kick, which is catapulted long and dealt with.
Wanyama is fouled on halfway and Celtic decide to play short. Hearts to their credit close down quickly before Matthews fouls Stevenson and Hearts have a free kick.
Commons finds Hooper 25 yards out but the striker, who has been quiet, is adjudged to have used his arm to control the ball. Hearts go long with the clearance.
Very few of these players have made a concerted attempt to pass the ball on the floor, except for Black and Ki. Wanyama has on occasion as has Commons, but too much play is direct and both defences are comfortable.

Commons finds space 25 yards out and shoots with his right foot, forcing a good save from MacDonald.
El Kaddouri's run is halted and Hearts clear before Celtic try to play through the middle. It's worked out to El Kaddouri again who finds Commons in space. His shot is tame and wide, but it is clear that Celtic are better when keeping it on the floor.
Hamill forces a fine save from Forster with a curling effort. Eventually Celtic win a goal kick and clear down the left before Hamill concedes a free kick with a foul on Commons.
Very little penetration for both sides after half an hour and one real chance apiece. Hearts attack through Black and he wins a free kick in a dangerous spot, 25 yards out.
Ki looks good on the ball but Celtic can't get it to him enough. Wanyama finds El Kaddouri but his cross is intercepted.
Skacel takes a tumble over an electronic advertising board. He made a meal of that to say the least. Advertising board escapes without a caution.
Celtic win a throw down the left but go backwards and then right, where Forrest can't find space and again they switch. This is really tight.
Grainger nearly gets caught by Forrest but manages to recover. Half-hearted penalty appeals follow as Majstorovic misses ball and Stevenson goes to ground. However, he just about missed man, too. Correct decision.
Jonsson loses out to Bangura in midfield and the Celtic striker powers forward. Celtic have four on four but he choses to shoot and it goes hopelessly wide.
Free kick on halfway for Hearts and Hamill launches it straight to the Celtic defence before giving away a free kick.
Commons and El Kaddouri find it all too easy to go short and through the Hearts defence and MacDonald is forced into another save. Corner once more, this time its cleared.
Hearts play it out to Hammill but he loses out and Celtic break through Forrest, whose cross finds Bangura free at the back post and MacDonald pulls off a fine save. Corner.
Black wins a free kick courtesy of Wanyama around 45 yards out. It causes carnage in the Celtic box but Webster isn't quick enough to pounce and Celtic break, only for Hooper to be caught offside.
Templeton gets no change out of Matthews down the left but Hearts win it back quickly and play across the back before MacDonald launches long.
Zaliukas launches forward towards Mrowiec but he's offside. Celtic clear but Hearts can deal with high balls it seems and launch a retort of their own, which Celtic in turn deal with. A real lack of creativity at present.
Black is trying to keep the ball down for Hearts but eventually they fire forward only for Celtic to clear. Commons plays in Bangura down the left but his early cross is wild and Hearts win a goal kick.
Hearts are pressing high up the pitch so Forster has to launch it long and the home defence can mop up without alarm. Eventually the ball comes to Black who plays it wide to Templeton. His cross is good but only Mrowiec is there to attack and it drifts out for a goal kick.
Forrest and Matthews combine to win a throw - they're Celtic's most productive men at present - and eventually switch it left to Commons, whose cross is cleared by Webster with Bangura lurking.
Hearts go long and win a throw deep inside Celtic's half. Mrowiec does well to fire over a cross that nobody is there to attack and Celtic can clear, eventually winning a free kick inside their own half.
More composed stuff now from Celtic who work it well down the right before Forrest switches play. Wanyama plays it to Commons who, 35 yards out, strikes well over the bar.
Matthews takes a throw in down the Celtic right and Bangura tries to beat two men before giving away a free-kick inside the Hearts box.
Hearts hit the post! David Templeton is in space six yards out but can't direct it inside the upright. After a corner played short, Celtic clear.
Forrest gets another chance to attack down the right and gets to the byline. His cross is blocked and Hearts break, eventually winning a throw in thanks to the lively Stevenson.
Wanyama has been lively and finds Forrest on the right. Celtic have to switch back and attack down the left through El Kaddouri but again the move breaks down.
Free kick for Celtic in their own box after a high boot from Stevenson. Skacel had done well to find space on the right and Hearts are shading the early exchanges.
Celtic fire a long ball forward after Hearts once again fall foul of the offside trap. It comes to nothing - this is lively, but lacking in poise thus far.
Hi Scott here! I'm a massive Celtic fan and I can see us winning 3-0 with Wanyama, Bangura and Commons scoring. Black getting sent off for being himself! Just cant get enough!!
