A great result for Celtic as goals from Commons and Samaras ensure a first leg lead against the Swedish side after a thrilling night that could have ended 4-4. Thanks for your company at the Olympia Stadion and I'll see you all soon.
Forrest is judged to be offside from a header, that the linesman assumed to be Samaras but it actually looked like Andersson's head as a chance for Celtic is denied.
Forrest makes another charge through the centre but just takes one touch too many and ends up losing out to Atta.
Mulgrew hits the bar! The woodwork is rattled for the second time by Celtic as Mulgrew's 25-yard effort denies Celtic what could have been an incredible first leg scoreline after the chances the hosts have had.
Commons tries to release Forrest, who cuts through Helsingborg like a knife through butter before releasing an effort which draws a smart save from Hansson.
Amidst a crowd of pushing in the box, Samaras wins the free-kick after some over-enthusiastic movement from Accam.
Bedoya plays in Alvaro but Izaguirre beats him for pace, denying his shot on goal but conceding a corner.
Mahlangu picks up the ball on the edge of the area, but his pass to Accam is read by Rogne expertly who clears the ball to safety.
Forrest is again outstanding as he works tirelessly down the right to win a throw-in against Uronen.
What a chance. Samaras breaks down the left, ignoring Commons, and goes for goal before missing by inches. Commons is fuming but it wasn't a bad effort by the striker.
A committed run by Forrest takes play forward for Celtic, but he loses out to Uronen before creditably chasing back to try and retrieve the ball.
An Izaguirre mistake allows Gashi to cross into the box, with Forster making a meal of it before Djurdic's touch ends up carrying the ball behind goal.
If anyone deserved a second Celtic goal it was Samaras, who pounces at the far post to convert Commons' corner and give Celtic some breathing room in this first leg!
Great work from Hooper, who holds off Atta during a run down the right side before earning a corner off the defender.
Uronen launches the ball to the back post, with Bedoya on hand to head the ball back into the box but Forster is again to alert to claim before Djurdic can make contact.
Amazing stuff from Djurdic, who completely clatters into Mulgrew in perhaps the most obvious foul ever committed.
Mulgrew sets up Commons, who locks his eyes on goal and lets a shot away but it's a weak one and easy enough for Hansson to claim.
Hooper and Commons press fantastically on the hosts' back-four, with Helsingborg forced into keeping the ball in defence rather than pushing forward in search of the equaliser.
Forrest tangles with Uronen but no free-kick is given before Bedoya pulls the ball back to Accam who scuffs a great chance well over the bar.
Forster, showing great confidence, punches the corner away and ends up winning a free-kick after being penalised in the process by Uronen.
Uronen's free-kick is saved well by Forster, before Ledley jumps with Sadiku and ends up hurting himself during the fall. Meanwhile it's a corner to Helsingborg.
Sorum claims handball agains Rogne and the decision is a yellow card for the defender, with a free-kick to Helsingborg 20 yards from goal.
Lovely stuff from Celtic as they play their way out of trouble. Hooper couldn't find Samaras though and Gashi intercepts.
Izaguiree backs into Uronen, but the decision goes against the Helsingborg man and Celtic win a free-kick after a period of pressure from the hosts.
Ledley hits the bar! Forrest twists and turns on the right before delicately chipping into the box where Ledley pounced to clip the bar with a header.
Celtic again fail to pick up on Mahlangu, who imposes his will inside Celtic's half before again letting loose with a right-footed shot which is comparitively poor compared to his last effort.
There's no room for Samaras to push through, but the ball ends up back with Forrest who decides to have a stab but his effort flies well wide of goal.
Commons' free-kick is in towards Ledley but Andersson wins the header and Hansson steps up to claim the second ball.
Brown is fouled but play continues as Izaguirre looks for Ledley, who is upended by Gashi, earning the midfielder a yellow card.
Wahlstedt keeps the ball in for Sorum but Forrest tracks the run of Andersson and ends up earning his team a goal-kick.
The chances are coming thick and fast for the hosts now as Andersson unleashes an effort on goal which fizzles narrowly wide. Neil Lennon is irate on the sidelines as Celtic continue to sit back and invite attacks.
Mahlungu is involved once more as he rifles a shot at Forster, who initially spills the ball before regaining it under pressure from Djurdic.
Mahlangu bursts forward through the centre, showing amazing energy but Andersson's ball from the left is poor and Rogne ends up heading away.
Forrest plays in Hooper, whose ball to Commons is outrageous. Samaras made a threatening run on the inside but the midfielder couldn't find him and the attack comes to an end.
Celtic have made a change at the break with Kayal replaced, presumably due to injury, in place of Forrest.
Bawn Froning writes: 'Based on the possession both teams have had, I think we will end with a final of 1-2 Celtic. Celtic goal coming from Ledley.'
Commons' early strike provided Celtic with the dream start but the hosts have responded well and would argue they are unlucky to at least not be on even terms. Send your second half predictions to firstname.lastname@example.org or tweet @JWoodfield365.
A smart link-up between Sadiku and Bedoya nearly results in the latter being presented with a shot on goal but Rogne makes a terrific challenge and clears the danger excellently.
The hosts keep hold of the ball but an atrocious ball from Atta to Sorum sees it fly out of play over the winger's head.
Impressive work from Gashi down the left as he whips the ball in with Forster alert to ensure it doesn't creep in at the near post.
Kayal finds Hooper after a poor Helsingborg attack but Samaras is isolated on the left and his ball to Hooper is picked off by Wahlstedt.
Samaras has been exceptional tonight, the striker hogging the left wing and finding his team-mates with calm, accurate passes as the visitors do well to maintain possession again.
The hosts pressure again but Matthews does well against Uronen, before Gashi fires well wide into the fans.
Helsingborg win a corner, but Uronen's delivery to the far post sees Atta too eager to reach it, the full-back fouling Brown in the process.
Lovely play from Celtic, with the home fans growing restless as they maintain possession effectively, with Samaras at the helm of the move.
Kayal tries to improvise a clearance on the edge of the area but it lands right in the path of Djurdic who unleashes an effort narrowly wide of the top corner.
Hooper draws Uronen into fouling him and Celtic have a free-kick 20 yards out. Commons takes and it's punched well away by Hansson before Ledley concedes a free-kick of his own.
Commons asks a lot of Matthews on the overlap and Helsingborg clear, with Sorum challenged well on the break by Brown.
It's sloppy again from Celtic as Andersson drifts the ball into the box following Rogne's botched clearance but Bedoya can only head wide, admittedly from a tricky position.
Uronen's free-kick is eventually smothered away by Samaras but the signs are showing that the hosts are really ascending in the game now.
Izaguirre is hounded by Bedoya, but ends up finding Hooper with his clearance. The striker can't hold up the ball though and it ends up back with Hansson.
Incredible scenes! Firstly Sorum clears the corner for Celtic but Matthews slips on the half-way line, with Sadiku charging forward with the ball. He fails to let a shot away though and Matthews ends up sprinting back to make the recovery tackle.
Celtic look to get on the front foot and do so well as Izaguirre drifts to the byline and wins his team a corner.
Sorum looks to carve an opening, before Gashi searches for Djurdic with Matthews forced into some awkward defending to clear.
Forster again proves a tough backline to break as the hosts work the ball into the penalty area again, with Sorum denied by an excellent save from the Celtic keeper.
Andersson looks to chip the ball into Djurdic but Rogne clears, albeit somewhat uincomfortably and under little pressure.
Lovely play from Samaras, who finds Commons as Celtic push up the pitch gradually looking for a time to strike. Eventually, Samaras wins a free-kick against Gashi.
Sorum is again lively, but Rogne deals with his delivery into the box easily. The atmosphere is incredible inside the Stadium and the home fans can tell their team are closing on the equaliser here.
Exquisite move from Helsingborg. Rogne's misplaced pass lands in the path of Gashi, who plays in Djurdic with only a wonderful Forster save denying Djurdic what would have been a brilliant goal.
Brown gives the ball away on the right but Mahlangu can't capitalise by finding Djurdic and it ends up a Helsingborg throw-in.
Commons looks to create his own opportunity, and he finds a yard to shoot brilliantly but his shot is wild and way wide of goal.
Nice play from Helsingborg as Djurdic links up with Sorum before driving an effort at goal which ends up being comfortable for Forster at the near post.
Samaras is again threatening as he lurks at the far post to meet Matthews' ball across goal, only to jump narrowly short of reaching the delivery.
Djurdic holds the ball up expertly but runs out of space on the right and Matthews is on hand to dispossess the striker.
Djurdic wins a free-kick under Ledley's tackle and the hosts can whip the ball in from 25 yards. Uronen's free-kick drifts harmlessly past Forster though and it's a Celtic goal-kick.
Kayal tumbles over the outstretched leg of Sadiku and Celtic win a free-kick. It comes to nothing but moments later Samaras looked to have been hacked down by Atta but no foul is awarded.
Djurdic takes an elbow in the face from Rogne, and stays grounded for a second before getting to his feet as play resumes.
Celtic play their way out of trouble after a Helsingborg attack and the Scottish champions look to have settled exceptionally well here.
Incredible! Samaras collects the ball on the left wing and drifts in a curling cross into the penalty area. Commons takes aim and volleys a wonderful effort past Hansson to put Celtic in dreamland!
Here's the team news for tonight. Celtic Skipper Scott Brown and striker Gary Hooper have shrugged off their respective hip and hamstring injuries to start in Sweden. Stopper Thomas Rogne replaces Kelvin Wilson while Mikael Lustig also drop out with Victor Wanyama suspended, as Paddy McCourt and James Forrest have recovered from their groin injuries to start on the bench. Striker Nikola Djurdic, who signed for Helsingborg on loan from Norwegian side Haugesund yesterday, makes his debut for the Swedish champions in attack while former Rangers midfielder Alejandro Bedoya starts in midfield.
Plenty of tweets coming in tonight. The first one arrives courtesy of Darren Wills who writes: 'I think Celtic will get beaten 2-1, scoring a crucial away goal tonight through Samaras.'
