The Edinburgh derby is the pick of the Scottish Cup fourth round ties as Hearts travel to Hibernian on Sunday. Both sides have been struggling for form in the Scottish Premier League recently, with Hearts winless in five and Hibs having lost two of their last three games. Hearts find themselves in fourth position while their hosts for Saturday are five points behind in sixth. But league form will go out of the window for this tie as both sides look to put one over their city rivals.

Hibs team news

Captain Rob Jones could return from injury for the clash at Easter Road. The defender returned to training for the first time on Thursday and manager Mixu Paatelainen will be monitoring his progress. If the 29-year-old comes through training unscathed then he could go straight back into the side. Paatelainen must also decide whether he starts new goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski or sticks with Yves Ma-Kalambay.
Hearts teams news
Defender Christos Karipidis could hand Hearts manager Csaba Laszlo a boost after declaring himself fit for the clash. Karipidis missed the 1-0 defeat to Motherwell on Wednesday after injuring his ankle in the 0-0 draw with Hearts at Tynecastle. Meanwhile midfielder Bruno Aguiar looks set to miss the match after failing to recover from a hamstring injury. The Portuguese playmaker had hoped to return to training this week but next week's game with Kilmarnock would be a more realistic date for a return.
