Afonso Alves hit a 10-minute brace at Easter Road as Middlesbrough claimed a 3-2 pre-season friendly success against Hibernian.
Scotland international Steven Fletcher struck a double for the home side, but two goals from Alves and an effort from David Wheater saw Boro secure victory.
Fletcher opened the scoring on 10 minutes with a smart finish, before, worryingly for Boro, midfielder Julio Arca was stretchered off following a strong challenge.
Goalkeeper Ross Turnbull then misjudged Fletcher's swerving drive to hand Hibs a two-goal lead but Alves came off the bench to reduce the deficit.
Wheater headed home to level the scoreline, and then Alves completed the comeback, nodding home at the far post.
