Leeds defenders Liam Cooper and Sol Bamba are both expected to prove their fitness in time for the home game against Nottingham Forest.

Cooper missed last week's FA Cup win at Bolton due to a hip injury while fellow centre-half Bamba was forced off in the closing stages due to a calf strain.

Midfielder Toumani Diagouraga has missed training with a cold this week but is hoping to make his home debut and Alex Mowatt is back in contention after a dead leg.

Striker Chris Wood will be ruled out for another fortnight after undergoing a further scan on his troublesome hamstring.

Winger Ryan Mendes should be back in the Forest squad after a slight knock saw him miss the FA Cup defeat to Watford.

Reds boss Dougie Freedman has no new problems as he looks to extend his side's 12-match unbeaten run in the Championship, but the familiar issues remain.

Club-record signing Britt Assombalonga looks on course to feature in the final few games of the campaign as he recovers from a serious knee injury but the same cannot be said for fellow striker Matty Fryatt (Achilles), midfielder Andy Reid (groin) and defender Daniel Pinillos (knee), all of whom will not play again until next season.

Like Assombalonga, Henri Lansbury could also make his comeback from ankle ligament damage around April - but the captain is unlikely to be risked if Forest have nothing to play for at that point.
