Evian's three-match unbeaten run Ligue 1 came to an end as Lille claimed a conformable 3-0 win at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy.

Evian's three-match unbeaten run Ligue 1 came to an end as Lille claimed a 3-0 win at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy. Salomon Kalou put the home side ahead after 13 minutes and Evian goalkeeper Jesper Hansen doubled that lead with an own-goal just after the half-hour. Substitute Ronny Rodelin had only been on the pitch two minutes when he bagged a third with 18 minutes remaining as Lille claimed a second consecutive win. Lille could have been ahead after just six minutes as Marvin Martin stormed down the left and crossed for the unmarked Simon Kjaer who could only head onto the crossbar. They had the lead shortly after, though, as Martin's free-kick was headed away but only as far as Florent Balmont who unleashed a shot from distance which Kalou backheeled into the net. Evian had the chance to equalise just four minutes later as Facundo Bertoglio sent a volley wide but it was the home side who would get the second goal. Balmont's cross was headed against the bar by Nolan Roux and Jansen was left helpless as the ball rebounded, hit him, and crossed the line. Kjaer missed his second sitter of the evening as he headed Martin's cross wide but it was of no matter as Rodelin soon made it three. Cedric Mongongu's pass to Hansen was short and the substitute was quickly onto the lose ball and slid home to put the match beyond doubt. Cedric Cambon saw a shot for Evian saved by Vincent Enyeama while Rodelin also fired a shot wide in the closing stages.
