Hi, JDogg from Cardiff: "I'm genuinely upset over Malky's treatment. The guy has done tremendously well and spent Tan's money wisely. The jury is out on Cornelius until he is fit but the others, particularly Medel, have been superb. Tan will make big money on him if he is that desperate to recoup cash. My heart is with the BLUEBIRDS but Liverpool could scrape a win or even give us a thrashing if Suarez runs riot. Portsmouth have shown how a club can survive despite owners who are hell bent on a path of destruction. Football is about communities and passion for the game not about dictators who are only around for a relatively short time."
Raj here from Moscow: "have a feeling this is going to be a very attacking game from Liverpool and possibly a very defensive one from Cardiff, however with Mackay wanting to prove something to the owner, this might be a great contest, looking at a down side, with the possibility of their manager going out, players might be down on confidence and take a hammering from Liverpool. Going for a huge Liverpool win here especially because its Anfield, match ball to be in Suarez hand at the end of the match."
Thanks to Rich Gregory: "This game will come down to whether the Cardiff team fight for Mackay to send a message to Tan or whether the disruption has effected them. Liverpool win either way though, as long as Everton win tomorrow!"
"I predict a tight 1st half with Liverpool resting on their laurels from their White Hart Lane mauling. They are most vunerable after big wins. I feel one nil to the visitors at half time, maybe 1-1 then a scrappy 2-1 win for Liverpool with Coutinho scoring the winner. YNWA :-)" Anthony Carlin, Ballymena, NI. (School friend of Brendan Rodgers).
"Hi, Maurice from Liberia. We have a forecast league. There are 53 of us. We have forecast 53 home wins. The trouble with Tan is that he thinks it is all about him, but it is not. It is all about Cardiff City Football Club. That will be there when he is gone. One of his sychophants should remind him of that! Yo Ho Ho!"
Ahmad Husaini from Dubai says: "I'm pretty positive about this one, considering Cardiff being in tatters, their lack of motivation, plus Suarez's habit of punishing such teams. Certainly a must-win, since our next couple of trips are Sturridge-less and Gerrard-less ones to Stamford Bridge and the Etihad. I'm apprehensive about Allen's and Sterling's performances today.Come on you Reds! Let's go"
Many thanks to AG from the Sunshine Coast in Aus: "massive LFC fan....5-1 to Liverpool with Henderson to score first! YNWA."
John Blick: "With liverpool on form this will be a great game with lots of goals. i'm saying 6-0 with a suarez hatrick."
Junaid Khalid says: "liverpool fan here, this should be an easy 3 points but some times it never is. Goin for 3-1 for liverpool. Suarez hat-trick."
Team News: Cardiff manager Malky Mackay makes just one change for what could possibly be his last match in charge of the club against Liverpool at Anfield. Despite it being understood he has received a letter from owner Vincent Tan telling him to quit or be fired, the Scot is at Anfield and brought in Aron Gunnarsson for Fraizer Campbell from the side which beat West Brom. Liverpool, unsurprisingly, name the same team which demolished Tottenham 5-0 last weekend, meaning Luis Suarez again captains the side the day after signing a new long-term contract with the club.
Cardiff: Marshall, Theophile-Catherine, Caulker, Turner, Taylor, Mutch, Medel, Noone, Gunnarsson, Whittingham, Odemwingie. Subs: Hudson, Cornelius, Campbell, Kim, Cowie, Lewis, John.
Liverpool: Mignolet, Johnson, Skrtel, Sakho, Flanagan, Allen, Lucas, Henderson, Sterling, Suarez, Coutinho. Subs: Brad Jones, Toure, Agger, Alberto, Aspas, Moses, Kelly.
Thanks to MJ Watkins: "Cardiff need to hope suarez drank all that beer he was pictured buying yesterday after signing his new contract - 3-0 liverpool - morale in cardiff camp must be low."
Here is a pre-match betting update from Sky Bet. Liverpool are clearly a warm order at 1/5 with Cardiff 16/1 and the draw is 6/1. Raheem Sterling was excellent at White Hart Lane last week and his price has been boosted to score first from 11/2 to 8/1.
"hey dave, im nad from rotherham ,your a legend ,im a big liverpool fan and soo happy suarez signed new contract, i think sterling will have another good game and i am predicting a 4-1 victory with sterling and suarez getting two each.....ynwa lfc." Thanks Nad,
