Liverpool 3 PSV 1. Three more valuable points for the Reds on a comfortable night. Thanks for joining me and I hope you enjoyed the game.
Aurelio cuts across the edge of the box following a short corner, but fires into the army of bodies blocking the route to goal.
Lucas' effort at the end of a flowing move is deflected away for a corner. The ball was heading for the corner until Simons got in the way.
Game over as both sides drift towards an inevitable conclusion. PSV gave up a long time ago, while Liverpool have been in cruise control since the 4th minute.
Kuyt tries to slide a cutting pass through to Benayoun, but the slick surface takes the ball away from the midfielder and safely through to Isaksson.
Babel has gone down minutes after coming on and is clutching his ankle. He appeared to twist it as he came under a challenge and looks in some pain.
Good movement by Liverpool on the left sees Kuyt and Babel make inroads, but Kuyt slips on entering the box and Simons steals the ball away.
Lucas lifts an ambitious over the bar from the edge of the box. He had time and space and should have done better.
Dzsudzsak almost finds a second for PSV as he tests Reina for the first time with a stinging 25-yard drive.
GOAL! Liverpool 3 PSV 1. Koevermans gets in front of Carragher and turns a close-range effort past a stranded Reina. The Liverpool keeper is yet to make a save and has now conceded a goal!
GOAL! Liverpool 3 PSV 0. Gerrard reaches the 100 goals mark for Liverpool. A 30-yard free-kick is rolled into his path and he hammers a thunderbolt past Isaksson. The Kop go wild and the Reds march on.
PSV's best chance of the night as Carragher is forced to punt clear with Reina beaten by a low drive.
Amrabat has been moved out to the left but is not finding much joy on the flank. Why he hasn't been left up top with Koevermans is a mystery.
Desperation from PSV as Mendez shoots from 35-yards and finds row Z. The Dutch outfit have been disappointing tonight and would appear to be the whipping boys of the group.
Gerrad and Benayoun look to combine with a clever one-two, but the PSV defence are wise to their intentions and stub the move out.
Salcido finds himself deep in oppostion territory and almost picks out Koevermans with a far post cross. Aurelio sees out the danger and Carragher completes the clearance.
Koevermans chases a lost cause down the right, is unable to catch up with the ball and awaits his first touch.
Gerrard lets rip from distance, but gets his effort all wrong and sends the ball spinning high into the Kop. The 100th goal remains elusive.
Salcido gets his positioning all wrong and almost allows Keane in on goal. The full-back does well to recover and get back at the Irishman.
The goals we expected at the break have not coem thus far and Liverpool have taken their foot off the gas. No-one can blame them, the game is won, but it would be nice to see a few more goals.
Torres breaks clear on goal and will be disappointed not to have found the target. Heading down the left he has to flick the ball with the outside of his boot and sends it skidding past the post. Had he used his left foot he may have found the target. But, who am I to question Senor Torres!
Loose play by Kromkamp as he allows an easy pass to roll under his foot and out of play. The full-back has hardly proved the Reds wrong for letting him go.
Aurelio's flighted delivery finds the head of Keane, who tries to flick the ball into the danger area, but he gets too much on his header and the ball drifts behind for a goal-kick.
Arbeloa drifts past two defenders and wins a free-kick in a useful position for Liverpool. What can the Reds do from here?
The Kop find their voice and try to suck a third into Isaksson's net. PSV have been brighter after the break, while Liverpool can afford to ring the changes and those stepping off the bench may reignite the game.
Amrabat once again provides an attacking threat. He is not closed down on the edge of the box and sends a low drive skipping past the post. Reina remains untroubled but PSV are getting closer.
Gerrard whips a dangerous free-kick to the front post. Players run across Isaksson's sight of the ball, but he watches it all the way into his arms.
Amrabat rips another ambitious goalwards, but slices well wide from 30-yards. He has no option but to go for goal as his team-mates are offering little support.
Ron Snyder sees two more goals on the way for the Reds, with Keane and Torres on the scoresheet. Let's see.
Liverpool spring to life as Gerrard feeds a ball through to Torres and the striker is close to getting a clear sight on goal. Eventually he is pushed wide and Isaksson is able to gather the ball at his feet.
Torres is down, which is worrying for Liverpool fans. He gets hacked down by Salcido and his holding his right leg.
Reina is yet to be tested our match stats show that PSV are yet to hit the target. The Reds keeper must be freezing as it's a chilly night and he has had virtually nothing to do.
Amrabat continues to work hard on his own up front and wins a corner. Pieters gets his head to the delivery but can't control his effort.
Torres tests Simons with a one-on-one on the edge of the box, but the PSV skipper stands up manfully and deals with the danger.
Gerrard whips over a free-kick from the right and Isaksson does well to get something on the ball and it take it off Torres' head.
Peter Mahoney and Aaron Mullins both see Liverpool going on to secure a comfortable success, with Gerrard set to get himself among the goals. Freddy, in Germany, and Dennis, in America, have also thrown their weight behind the Reds.
Bakkel lets fly from 25-yards but drags his effort well wide of Reina's post. Positive from the visitors at the start of the half.

Remember you can bet in-play at skybet.com throughout the second half. Liverpool are now 1/80 to win, PSV are 100/1! Torres is 4/1 to get a third and Gerrard is 13/5 to grab his 100th goal for Liverpool.
Liverpool 2 PSV 0. Very comfortable for the hosts and they will expect more of the same after the interval.
Gerrard this time frees Torres in a good position, and once again the striker loses his footing and loses the ball. A change of footwear may be in the offing for the Spaniard at the break!
Riera finds acres of room on the left and drills a good cross across the face of goal. Simons takes no chances and hammers clear, while the Reds strike force rue their decision not to gamble at the front post.
Aurelio's long ball finds Torres, who slips at the vital moment allowing Marcellis to clear. The Spaniard's first touch was perfect but conditions are proving treacherous.
Mendez thinks he has sent Wuytens scampering in behind, but the midfielder had a chunk of Alonso's shirt as he won the ball in midfield.
Rare foray forward by PSV sees Bakkel deliver a dangerous cross to the heart of the Liverpool box. Once again, though, there is no white shirt in sight and Carragher is able to tidy up with ease.
PSV look keen to keep things tight until the break and try and regroup at the interval. They refuse to push forward and knock the ball around among themselves at any given opportunity.
Scott Howarth is tipping the Reds to run riot now, emerging as 4 or 5-1 victors. That seems possible, but I imagine PSV will shut up shop before we get to that stage.
Amrabat tries to beat five red shirts on the edge of the box and is unsurprisingly outnumbered. He takes a tumble, more in desperation than anything else!
GOAL! Liverpool 2 PSV 0. Robbie Keane breaks his Liverpool duck. Torres makes positive progress down the right and swings over a great cross for Keane to volley home. He didn't catch it cleanly, but he won't care.
Alonso clatters into Bakkel and sends the PSV man sprawling. Not much contact made, but in Europe as soon as anyone goes to ground the referee blows up.
An ambitious pass from Alonso almost sends Riera piling down the left flank, but Kromkamp manages to get a head to the ball as it drifts past him and nods out of play.
Gerrard swings over a corner from the left and Torres is left unmarked to head inches wide. PSV's defending is woeful and Liverpool really should be 2-0 up.
Isaksson elects to punch a swirling Gerrard cross and just about gets away it. He had plenty of time to claim the ball, but European keepers are prone to making life difficult.
Some sloppy passes by Liverpool as they flirt with danger at the back. The Reds need to regain their composure as they are a class above their opponents.
Wuytens tries to slip past Arbeloa, only to be left flattened as the Spaniard takes the ball off his toe and leave the PSV man eating dirt.
Kuty tests Isaksson with a snap-shot from the edge of the box. The Swede gets down well to his left and makes the stop comfortably.
Amrabat is pulled back by the linesman's flag as he looks to break into the acres of space behind the Liverpool defence. As long as the Reds don't let their concentration slip there is no reason for them not to push up the field.
Gerrard is certainly up for the game and bites into a challenge on Brechet. The Reds skipper only knows how toplay one way and continues to lead by example.
Liverpool games wouldn't be the same without a 45-yard lob from Alonso and the Spaniard has duly obliged. Isaksson was off his line but is able to get back in time to pluck the ball out of the air.
Kuty tries to bundle his way past Marcellis and into the box, but fails to find a way past the PSV man and the move breaks down.
Arbeloa pushes up from right-back, but a sloppy touch sees him hand possession back to the men in white and is forced to beat a hasty retreat to get back in position.
With no-one in supports Amrabat tries his luck from fully 40-yards and sees his effort drift narrowly over the bar. Reina was never in trouble and watched it all the way.
Keane is found by a clever ball by Riera but can't get the ball out of his feet. He goes down under a challenge from Salcido, but the referee waves away his protests. Keane appeared to be caught and is a tad unlucky.
A slight lull in proceedings as Liverpool enjoy another passage of keep-ball in the middle of the park.
Keane puts Isaksson under pressure as he is handed a back-pass he could have done without. The former Man City keeper clears his lines but gives his defence an earful.
Bakkel has Skrtel worried for a second as he looks to escape in behind, but the uncompromising centre-half regains his bearings and sees the winger out of play.
Salcido causes panic at the back as he skews a headed clearance sideways and almost puts in Torres. Simons does well to beat the Spaniard to the ball and hammer clear.
Amrabat makes headway down the left and throws over a cross, only to find that Wuytens is the only man who has bothered to get up in support, and even he is hanging back on the edge of the box. PSV really need to be more adventorous if they are to get anything here tonight.
The raining is hammering down now, which is unlikely to help either side, but a slick surface could make things more interesting!
Amrabat is a willing runner for PSV and does well to force Carragher into decisa rushed clearance and builds a platform for the visitors. They then waste possession.
Kromkamp will be keen to impress against his former employers, but looks unwilling to push forward and make an impact.
Good build-up by Liverpool, but PSV pull everyone back and the Reds are forced to recycle possession and start all over again. The Dutch outfit look there for the taking and I will boldy tip more goals to come!
Keane lofts over a cross from the right, but there are no red shirts in the box and his delivery drifts away on the far side.
Mendez makes good progress down the right, but his cross is tame and dribbles towards Skrtel to hammer clear. He was allowed far too much room to break and the Reds must be wary of getting complacent.
First glimpse of Riera, who looks to be just what Liverpool need. An out-and-out winger who hugs the touchline and loves to run at people.
PSV appear to have finally woken up after going behind and push Liverpool back. Carragher and Skrtel stand firm, though, and see out the danger.
Bill Finnerty and Martin Harris have jumped on the Liverpool bandwagon and are tipping an easy night for the men in Red. Bill goes for 2-0 and Martin goes 3-0. Will either of them be right?
GOAL! Liverpool 1 PSV 0. Torres meets Gerrard corner with a cracking volley, but is denied by a fine save from Isaksson. However, the keeper is less impressive as Kuyt's rebound slips under his hand and bounces into the roof of the net. The Reds are up and running!
Torres escapes down the right and looks to burst into the box. Salcido tracks him all the way, though, and sees the ball out for a corner.
Amrabat could be in for a long night as his first touch sees him crowded out as soon as the ball arrives at his feet. He will have a job on to bring others into play around him.
The hosts dominate possession early on, content to give everyone a touch and bring them into the game. Seems sensible enough.
PSV have made their intentions clear with five at the back and one up top. Can Liverpool break down the Dutch wall?
Adnaan Emandien is on board for the Reds and has gone for a 3-0 waltz in the park for Rafa's men. He is also backing Keane to get off the mark. The Irishman should expect to get a few sights of goal against a PSV team which has faltered of late.
The teams are on the pitch and we are about ready for the off. Let's hope we are in for an entertaining contest.
As always Anfield is buzzing on a big European night. 'You'll Never Walk Alone' is belted out in a fashion which suggets confidence is high inside the stadium. Can their heroes make them proud? We are about to find out.
Lewis Whalley is the first confident Red to get in touch. He boldy backs Torres to grab a hat-trick in a comfortable win, but does not see Keane breaking his duck. Let's see!
Remember you can also bet in-play throughout tonight's game at skybet.com. Liverpool are 4/11 to secure their second three point haul in Europe while PSV are rank outsiders at 9/1. You can also get Keane at 5/4 to score at any time or 9/2 to strike first.
PSV team: Isaksson, Kromkamp, Simons, Marcellis, Salcido, Brechet, Mendez, Culina, Bakkal, Amrabat, Wuytens. Subs: Cassio, Rodriguez, Zonneveld, Koevermans, Pieters, Nijland, Dzsudzsak.
Liverpool team: Reina, Arbeloa, Skrtel, Carragher, Aurelio, Kuyt, Gerrard, Alonso, Riera, Torres, Keane. Subs: Cavalieri, Dossena, Agger, Benayoun, Babel, Mascherano, Leiva Lucas.
How do you see the game going? Will Rafa Benitez's men prevail or will their be Dutch delight on Merseyside? Can Robbie Keane finally get off the mark for the Reds or will the usual suspects of Gerrard and Torres dominate proceedings? Let me know your thoughts.
The Reds got off a winning start on Matchday One away in Marseille and will be hoping to build on that result, while PSV were humbled at home by Atletico Madrid and must bounce back.
