Timothy says: "The thing with Liverpool in the last couple of years is - which games are they actually going to win? Virtaully all their games in the league are lost or in the balance up until 90 minutes - they never have any breathing space because they have one of the worst if not the worst conversion rates in the league for shots/goals. I bet they will have 17 shots by the end of this game and no goals!"
Mar says: "Interesting wrestling match Stoke are putting on. Did they think it was a 4pm kickoff? Or do they never actually get round to the "playing football" part of the afternoon? Looking forward to seeing them become another footnote in Premier League history like Wimbledon - just a matter of time before they're relegated and we never see them again. Hope they can kick their way out of the nPower League One in 2016."
Ian says: "Your comment was ridiculous about Suarez's diving. In your world because he has dived the laws do not apply to him. How about Drogba, Ronaldo, Ashley Young? And countless others? What a dumb comment. And I do not even support Liverpool." I think Huth should have been sent off and believe Suarez does deserve to be protected by the laws of the game like everyone else. All I was saying was because he has a reputation for diving it may count against him when a referee assesses a situation where he goes down.
Fancy a bet? Sky Bet now go 8/11 for a Liverpool win, 6/4 for the draw and 7/1 for a Stoke success. My 1-1 prediction is still on, although Liverpool look the most likely to score.

Teams - Stewart Downing, who admitted to being upset by Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers' criticism last week, is not even on the bench for the Reds. Rodgers makes eight changes from the side beaten by Udinese on Thursday. Stoke, with former Liverpool players Crouch and Charlie Adam both starting, are unchanged from the team that beat Swansea last weekend. Michael Owen has missed out on a return to Anfield himself, however, apparently due to a minor injury.
Sam says: "I think Liverpool will win 3:1 gerrard Suarez and borini getting goals but stoke getting one with a goal from crouch."

Cheers Phil, yes it would have been interesting to see Owen, invariably players score against their old clubs - a colleague of mine uses it as the main focus of his betting!

Joe says: "Got a great feeling about the game today - Liverpool have been playing well recently and are starting to click even though we look a bit suspect at the back. Don't think stokes centre backs will get much joy against small nibble players like Suarez and sterling. Expect Sahin to kick on too after last weeks great performance against Norwich. Going for 3-1 Liverpool. Come on lads!!"
FIRST VIEW - Gareth Llewellyn has been in touch to say: "Going for 2-0 to Liverpool today with Sahin to score at anytime. :-)" Cheers for your view Gareth, anyone out there think Stoke can win? Send your views / predictions to firstname.lastname@example.org
