Full Time. All over. Liverpool 0 West Ham 0. Hard-fought draw for the Hammers. Liverpool just didn't have enough to break them down and Collison probably came closest with his header cleared off the line.
Good one-two by Suarez and Coutinho but Collins clears. And then he robs Suarez soon after. Good work by the centre-back.
West Ham on the attack and it is really slow. They are taking their time before Taylor swings in a cross that is too heavy and runs for a goal-kick.
Tomkins down injured after tackling Suarez but Liverpool play on. Eventually it comes to nothing and the defender has treatment.
Enrique almost threads a pass through to Suarez in the left channel but Jaaskelainen is off his line to claim.
Good build-up play on the edge of the West Ham box finds Sturridge with enough time to shoot but Jaaskelainen is down well to stop.
Good run by Jarvis and a one-two with Collison finds space on the edge of the box. He finds Taylor but the substitute tries to be too deliberate with his sidefooted shot and sees it blocked.
Just not happening for Liverpool. First Coutinho tries to thread Suarez through but the pass is blocked, then Gerrard tries to find Johnson but the ball runs beyond him.
Penalty claims and they are strong ones in front of the Kop as Tomkins appears to foul Gerrard. But the defender got the slightest nick on the ball as he slid in and the referee spotted it.
Crowd annoyed with Suarez as he tries an elaborate flick after receiving the ball from Sturridge. Not much coming off for the star man today. Now he lofts the ball wide of the post.
Disallowed goal! Sturridge taps the ball home from Henderson's miscued shot but he is clearly offside.
Ado says: "Can't understand why Assaidi isn't being utilised, raw pace and brilliant on the ball, can bring that bit of magic to the game."
Penalty appeal from West Ham. Tomkins goes down under challenge from Enrique. He was kicked but it was so weak that the reaction of the centre-back was unconvincing.
Chance! Carragher threads a pass through to Suarez and he dribbles past Tomkins before drilling a cross-shot from the right touchline that appears to swerve the wrong way and clip the far post.
Jarvis beats Johnson on the flank and his lofted cross loops over the head of Reina but there is nobody at the far post to score.
Diame almost gets free down the right but makes a mess of it and Reina can claim at his feet. End-to-end now.
Chance! Liverpool break quickly and for once West Ham do not have numbers back. Suarez gets away down the left and crosses for Gerrard but the captain's effort is blocked on the line.
Nolan gets Jarvis away down the left and he is free to run at Carragher. The veteran defender doesn't have the pace to deal with it but Agger blocks the cross from the byline.
Corner is taken quickly and Henderson receives it in space inside the area but is crowded out by Demel. Good few moments for the West Ham right-back.
Chance! Gerrard finally makes something happen with a powerful run down the right. His cross is just waiting to be tappen in but Demel does brilliantly to challenge inside the six-yard box.
Danny: "Disappointed, was expecting Liverpool to take bull by horns and give us the performance we have been waiting for."
Half Time. Liverpool 0 West Ham 0. As you'd expect, the home side are playing the better football, albeit intermittently. Coutinho to the fore. But West Ham have had the chances with Diame having the chance to score a goal-of-the-season contender only to blast over.
But Liverpool have another after Coutinho finds Suarez with a great pass. Wrong decision as it happens but Liverpool take this one quickly and Jaaskelainen flaps at it. Sturridge has the chance to shoot but sees his effort blocked and the Reds run out of time to take the third corner.
O'Brien and Jarvis work space for the midfielder and his cross is headed wide at the near post by Nolan.
West Ham happy to slow things down and work the channels. Jarvis winning a succession of throw-ins. Then the winger does put the cross in but Cole heads wide under pressure from Carragher.
Coutinho with a clever forward pass to Sturridge. The substitute spreads the play to Gerrard but O'Brien blocks the cross.
Gerrard with a crossfield pass to Enrique. Vaz Te is there but doesn't deal with it well and concedes a corner.
Chance! Cole with a shot blocked by Agger after a mistake. Opportunity for West Ham from nothing after an error as Liverpool give away possession carelessly in their own half. It was Lucas who lost the ball after receiving a pass under pressure from Carragher.
Jarvis carries the ball up the field with a speedy run but he is starting from so deep it is more about getting throw-ins in the Liverpool half than creating chances to cross the ball to Cole.
Enrique does well to play a couple of one-twos but gets too much on his final delivery and the ball runs through to Jaaskelainen.
Chance! O'Neil concedes possession and Liverpool break with Sturridge. He finds Suarez on the right and a nice one-two with Coutinho creates the space for the Uruguayan to fire low and left-footed from the left-edge of the six-yard box but Jaaskelainen saves with his legs.
Chance! Outrageous run from Diame. He beat five men - no exaggeration - to get to the right-edge of the six-yard box before blazing the ball over the bar. That would have been some goal. First bit of magic in a quiet game.
Downing heads the ball at goal on the up from a wide-left position after a cross from the right but Jaaskelainen deals with it easily enough. It looks like Downing will be the man coming off.
Suarez skins Collins with a nutmeg but then opts to shoot from a long way out and skews the weak effort well wide.
Tomkins with a nice lofted ball to Demel inside the area and he tries to square it first time across the area but gets it all wrong. Goal-kick.
At the other end, Diame tries his luck from distance and fires over the bar. Decent hit but would surely have been better retaining possession there.
Shouts for a penalty as Johnson gets away from O'Brien. The Hammers defender took a wild swipe at Johnson but it didn't really make contact. The Liverpool right-back kept going for another couple of strides before hurling himself to the ground and that appeared to convince the referee to ignore the appeals.
Good ball from Diame puts O'Neil away down the right but he is forced to check back in search of support.
Agger with a nice ball to Suarez in space but the Liverpool forward completely misses the ball. Strange game for Suarez so far.
Nolan plays the ball to his left but there is nobody there and it runs out of play. West Ham defending well but not really getting players forward - the captain was expecting his full-back on the overlap there but he was nowhere to be seen.
Coutinho looking lively but West Ham defending well. First Collins blocks the shot and then Vaz Te tracks back to tackle.
Good lay-off by Cole finds Nolan with the driving run down the left but his cross with his weaker foot is a poor one and goes out for a goal-kick.
Suarez crosses from the left to the edge of the box and Gerrard attempts the volley. He gets the connection wrong as it was a little high for him. He strikes down on the ball into the ground and it drifts wide.
Now Suarez has the chance to run at Collins one-on-one but the defender stands up well and gets in the clean tackle.
Coutinho gets the first shot in. Eludes Collins down the left channel but after cutting in his right-footed effort is weak and Jaaskelainen gets down to save.
O'Neil knocks another ball into the box for Cole to challenge for but it doesn't fall for the striker and Liverpool bring the ball away calmly.
Gerrard with a clever through-ball looking for the run by Coutinho. He is through on goal but just offside.
Suarez has started uncharacteristically. Conceded possession three times in the early stages and appears frustrated with himself - throwing his arms in the air.
Free-kick for West Ham in a good position and O'Neil swings the ball in but Reina is alert and off his line to claim.
Reina launches the ball long for Suarez but his flick-on runs through to the goalkeeper Jaaskelainen.
The crowd observe a minute's silence in memory of Hillsborough. The tragedy occurred on April 15th 1989.
Thanks for all your feedback. Feel free to share your thoughts through the game and I'll publish the best ones. The players are in the tunnel with Gerrard and Nolan about to lead the teams out.
Not that Liverpool have been lethal. The Reds have fired 242 shots off target in the league this season; 35 more than any other side.
Plenty of you tipping Suarez to score today and understandably so. He has created 77 chances from open play this season; more than any other player in Europe's top five leagues.
Ryan: "I believe West Ham can snatch this today 2-1, Cole and Nolan with the goals and Johnson scoring against his old team."
Steven Gerrard has been involved in 18 Premier League goals this season, only in 2008-09 (25) and 2007-08 (19) has he been more productive.
Jamie: "Can someone please tell me why Big Sam got Chamakh? I think it's gonna be a tight one 2-2; C.Cole and Collins for West Ham with Coutinho and Suarez on the score-sheet for Liverpool."
The Hammers have fared little better. Liverpool have won six of their last eight clashes with West Ham in the Premier League.
Sam Allardyce did win on his first Premier League trip to Anfield in January 2002 but it has been a disappointing journey for him since. Allardyce has seen his teams lose on each of his last eight visits there.
Josh is less confident regarding his team's chances. "Without Winston Reid it's safe to say we will be coming back to London pointless," he says.
Danny: "Confident Liverpool line-up. Shame Sturridge can't fit in to add to his goals but happy with the line-up. 5 - 1, Continho to shine today."
Joey: "Big day today for the Liverpool if they are to finish above Everton!.. 2-1 to Liverpool.. Suarez with both."
The Brazilian playmaker has been involved in a Premier League goal every 74 minutes on average since joining the club (scoring two and assisting three in 369 minutes).
It was one of the few high points. Philippe Coutinho has three times as many Premier League assists for Liverpool in six appearances (3) as Cole managed in 26 for the club (1).
No Anfield return for Joe Cole either. He scored in the last Premier League meeting between these two teams, as a Reds player.
Jason: "I think, being a Liverpool supporter, they will get a 2-1 win against West Ham today. Suarez and Gerrard."
Dale: "I think Liverpool will be too strong for the Hammers. 3-1, Suarez, Coutinho and Gerrard and a consolation from Cole."
There will be no Andy Carroll today, ineligible to play against his parent club. The striker has scored five times for West Ham this season (from 17 appearances). He has managed just six goals in 44 league games for Liverpool.

Our friends at Sky Bet have the odds for this one and rate Liverpool as the 2/7 favourites with West Ham as the 6/1 underdogs. The draw is available at 9/2.
Any kind of positive result for the Hammers on Merseyside would surely ease any lingering fears of relegation for the visitors.
Liverpool are in good form but need to keep up the pressure on the top six if they are to somehow force their way into an unlikely European place.
