That's it! The ful-time whistle goes and City have hung on for a slender 1-0 win. They created a host of chances and only a brilliant display from Jaaskelainen prevented the visitors being trounced. In the end, Bolton came close to snatching a late draw, but City have secure the three points.
Knight is booked for a lunge on Balotelli. City's fans are happy a Bolton player has finally been booked.
Superb last-ditch challenge there from Kompany to deny Kevin Davies from Taylor's cross. City were caught out there.
City seem happy sitting back and soaking up the pressure before hitting on the counter. Just three minutes left of regulation time to play.
Mancini is making a change with Richards replacing Silva. The Italian is clearly happy to hold what his team have. They should have put the game beyond doubt by now.
Hart comes out well to claim Taylor's cross. The sending off has given Bolton the impetus that they can sneak a late leveller.
Having just been booked he is shown another yellow card for a sliding challenge on Ricketts. He seemed to get the ball first but flattened the full-back with his follow through.
Superb move from City. Kompany plays a lovely one-two with Tevez before playing in Kolarov. He runs at Jaaskelainen, but his final shot can only hit the side netting.
Another chance for Bolton from a corner. The ball lands at Knight's feet, but his drilled shot goes straight through City's box. This one isn't over yet.
Nearly a gift from City. Lescott gets in Hart's way and he spills the ball. It's bouncing towards City's empty goal before it is scrambled away.
Yaya Toure's shot is blocked out for a corner. He was allowed to run at Bolton's defence because of a slip from Muamba.
Corner for City. They keep probing, but seem short of ideas. I wouldn't be surprised if Mancini is thinking about making a change or two.
First change for Bolton with Taylor replacing ex-City man Petrov, who gets a good reception from the home fans.
Off the crossbar now! Silva controls a left-wing cross and his turn and shot hits the crossbar. City can't buy a second goal.
The shots keep coming. This time Tevez blazes over with his left foot. He is angry with himself and lashes out.
Another save from Jaaskelainen. This time from Balotelli. He was fed by Tevez, but his left-footed shot by the near post was saved. It's the Jussi show at the moment.
Off the post! Balotelli's shot strikes the base of the post. A neat move and he should have scored really. It was like a penalty. How costly could that miss prove?
However, they are caught out and only a fine save from Jaaskelainen stops Zabaleta's shot from Silva's through-ball. A second would leave Bolton with a big ask.
City's defence scramble the ball away. Bolton were on the front foot after winning a corner from Petrov's deflected cross.
Silva's shot is saved after he collected Tevez's cross. Coyle was unhappy the home side were allowed to break after Balotelli got the better of Ricketts.
Decent effort from Kevin Davies. Ricketts gets past Kolarov far too easily and his cross is met by Davies, but his volley goes over. Good technique though.
Nearly a second goal. Tevez's cross causes problems and despite Jaaskelainen spilling the ball the visitors hoof the ball clear with Silva looking to pounce.

The half-time whistle goes and City still lead courtesy of Tevez's early strike. However, this is far from over and Bolton have shown good character to overcome a blistering start from the home side.
Mark Davies' drive from distance is watched over the bar by Hart. The City keeper has not had much to do despite Bolton's threat.
Oh my word. City work the ball well again, but Tevez squanders the chance. Kolarov crosses, but Tevez's shot on his weaker foot is embarassing as he fails to hit the target.
Tevez shoots again. He collects Zabaleta's inside ball, but he gets underneath his shot and it floats over.
What a waste! Tevez plays in Zabaleta and he has alsorts of time and space to shoots, but he scuffs his effort with only the keeper to beat. Tevez's shot seconds later bounces just wide of the far post.
City back on the attack. Silva jinks in and out before playing in Tevez, who sees his side-footed effort collected by Jaaskelainen. Easy save in the end.
Yaya Toure goes in on Robinson late and City fans are unhappy again. It looked a foul there for sure. Toure can have no complaints.
Tevez is lucky not to be booked there for kicking the ball away. He robbed Ricketts of the ball, but a foul was given. City fans are letting Marriner have it.
City have the ball in the net, but it's ruled out for offside. Silva was not offside, but Barry was offside and the flag was up. Tevez tucked it home, but it was never going to count.
After being on the back foot, City are just keeping possession themselves now. Bolton have come back into this, even if they are still a goal behind on the scoreboard.
Kolo Toure is down receiving treatment at the moment. It looks like it's a calf straight or a knee issue. He's now up and hobbling around.
City seemed to have made a tactical change with Balotelli moving to a move central role with Tevez moving out wide left.
After being blitzed in the early parts of the game Bolton are now controlling possession and probing away at Mancini's charges.
Balotelli is receiving some intructions from Mancini on the sidelines. The Italian starlet has been a little quiet so far.
City have slowed down a little. Bolton have no settled and are causing the hosts problems of their own.
Lee's corner is easily collected by Hart, but his long throw is wayward and straight to the opposition.
Superb defending there from Muamba halts City's break. Tevez tried to turn him inside and out, but was dispossessed.
Oooooh so close. Petrov's effort hits the wall and bounces just wide past the dispairing arms of Hart. That was close.
Free-kick for Boltion in a dangerous area as Kolarov brings down Lee. Good chance for the visitors to respond.
Controversy here as Barry's cross hits Cahill's arm. The home fans want a penalty, but it's just a corner. To be fair there didn't seem to be any intent from the Bolton stopper.
Yaya Toure is City's main threat at the moment. He bursts past Knight and crosses, but it's too high for his City team mates in the middle.
It's all-action so far. City are working every so hard with and without possession. Bolton are doing well to cling on.

City are running hot. Balotelli's shot is blocked. Tevez picks up the loose ball and picks out Silva, who are sees his drive blocked. Bolton need to weather the storm.
Bolton are caught high up the field. Yaya Toure plays a delightful through-ball for Tevez and he slots the ball past Jaaskelainen into the far corner of the net.
City respond. A free-flowing move sees Tevez burst into the penalty area. He drills the ball low to the ground, but Jaaskelainen is down to gather.
Early chance for Bolton, but Lee's left-footed effort from distance floats over. City were caught napping a little.
The teams are out on the pitch, getting by applause from both sets of fans. Bolton have a decent away following and are in full voice.
Johan Elmander has been in superb form for Bolton of late and will be one to watch while Carlos Tevez is a handful for any side. Full match commentary to follow.

City come into the game fourth in the standings and will be keen to return to winning ways after droppping points at Stoke last time out in league action. Bolton drew 2-2 with Blackpool last weekend, not a bad effort having trailed late on.

Despite the recent snow in Manchester it's actually a little milder today and we're having light rain at the moment rather than the wintery conditions northern England has experienced over the past week.
