The two most successful clubs in FA Cup history lock horns as Manchester United take on arch-rivals Arsenal.

These two sides have won six of the last 10 FA Cups

The two most successful clubs in FA Cup history lock horns as Manchester United welcome arch-rivals Arsenal to Old Trafford for a fifth round encounter. United and Arsenal have lifted the trophy of the world's oldest football knockout competition 21 times between them, and appeared in a combined 35 finals, since its creation over 130 years ago. Some may argue that Saturday's clash might not be priority No.1 for the duo - who both have Premier League and UEFA Champions League agendas to contend with. The Gunners hold a five-point advantage over The Red Devils at the summit of the league table, while Wednesday's mouth-watering European fixtures against Milan and Lyon respectively are bound to be at the back of both managers' minds.

Friction

But splendour will surely come to the fore with the friction between the pair too fierce to provide spectators with a damp squib of a cup tie. Intriguingly, the last FA Cup meeting between these sides not on neutral ground saw Arsenal claim victory in 2003 but then eventually surrender their position as league leaders to Sir Alex Ferguson's United - who went on to lift the title. Ferguson, who will be keen to eradicate memories of a shock derby defeat to Manchester City, has Wayne Rooney and Patrice Evra at his disposal after they completed their suspensions last weekend. Louis Saha might start on the substitutes' bench and Gary Neville's long-awaited return to the first team could finally be over after fully overcoming a serious ankle problem.
Crisis
Gunners manager Wenger, meanwhile, has an injury crisis to deal with, with no less than 10 players set to miss out. Johan Djourou (groin), Robin van Persie (thigh), Abou Diaby (calf), Manuel Almunia (sick), Denilson (hamstring), Tomas Rosicky (hamstring) and Theo Walcott (thigh) are all definitely out. Gael Clichy (hamstring) and Bacary Sagna (personal reasons) are unlikely to feature, while Philippe Senderos (knee/thigh) is rated as doubtful. But there is some positive news for Wenger as he welcomes Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Eboue back after the duo's involvement in the Africa Cup of Nations.
