90+8 The referee has blown the full time whistle. Arsenal deserve to take the three points as they had that little bit extra class in attack. Ramsey's injury will no doubt be a talking point for a while to come and we hope that, whatever the extent of the damage, that he makes a full recovery. Thank you for joining us and good night.
90+7 Fabregas and Pulis exchange a few words. The Stoke boss is not happy at all with what has been said.
90+6 Arsenal are taking it easy now as they know the result is safe.
Rosicky drives for goal but Sorensen makes a great save. However, Fabregas picks up the loose ball and lays it on a plate to Vermaelen who has the easiest of finishes.
90+4 GOAL: THOMAS VERMAELEN
90+3 Bendtner controls a ball over the top of the defence by Fabregas but is knocked down by Collins inside the area. No penalty this time around.
90+1 There will be seven minutes of added time.
The Arsenal skipper cooly slides the ball into the corner despite Sorensen diving the right way.
90 GOAL: FABREGAS!
89 Handball inside the area by Pugh from a Bendtner chip. A little harsh.
87 Stoke are doing well to withstand the pressure. Can they keep it up though?
86 Song picks up the ball on the edge of the penalty area before dinking the ball into the path of Eduardo, who controls well and shoots on the half-turn. However, he misses the target from close range and the chance is lost.
Selena can't believe it has happened again: Can't believe this is happening again! All thes best to Aaron, I only hope we can recover from this better than we did from Eduardo's injury. Let's win it for Aaron.
84 The Gunners win a free kick 30 yards from goal. Fabregas drops it in behind the Stoke defence but noone is there is finish it off, with Campbell the closest to it.
83 Eduardo is thrown into the action to try and find a winning goal. Nasri comes off for him.
82 Arsenal move forward with an inter-passing move involving Fabregas, Sagna and Rosicky. However, their good work comes to nothing as Stoke clear the danger.
81 Rosicky hits a snapshot from the edge of the area but it fails to trouble Sorensen.
80 Fuller is withdrawn and replaced by Tuncay Sanli for the final ten minutes.
79 Stoke are having to defend now as Arsenal attack in waves. Song has a go from distance but his effort is blocked by Wilkinson.
78 Whitehead is replaced by Liam Lawrence.
77 Whitehead bursts down the right and receives a ball from Delap. The midfielder whips the ball across the face of goal but noone is there in a Stoke shirt to apply the finishing touch.
75 Tam on the Ramsey injury: For what its worth, i dont think shawcross meant to injure ramsey.... you can tell by his reaction he's devastated by it.... im hoping the FA wont be harsh on him cos of it, as i dont think it was intended to hurt ramsey, i just think it was a really clumsey challenge
75 Theo Walcott replaces Eboue as Arsenal look to secure the points.
74 Bendtner is caught offside after a Fabregas pass. Tight.
73 Understandably, the match has become sloppy. It is now a question of which side can rise above the scenes of a few minutes ago.
71 The match has restarted. Going to be tough for the players to focus now...
71 Tomas Rosicky comes on to replace the injured Ramsey...
70 After a period of treatment Ramsey is stretchered from the pitch. A standing ovation from the fans, which is lovely to see.
67 The players are in tears. Shawcross is crying as he leaves the field. Vermaelen doesn't want to look. My stomach is still turning. Fabregas looks shell-shocked. Sad scenes here.
66 Shawcross gone for a horrific challenge on Ramsey. His leg is gone, broken. This really is horrific. Shades of Eduardo. What a shame...
65 A long ball from Sorensen evades everyone and Fuller is able to race on to it and hit a shot towards goal which is easily gathered by Almunia.
64 Whelan brings down Campbell and a free kick is the result. Fabregas lauches a ball into the area which is attacked by Vermaelen but his effort goes horribly wide off his head.
63 Whitehead presses forward with the ball but runs out of space and the move breaks down with a Clichy clearance.
62 Alex Song is booked for what looked to be a perfectly okay tussle with Delap. A little harsh?
61 The Gunners camp inside the Stoke third but they seems to run out of ideas and they are unable to test Sorensen or his defence.
60 Danny Collins is sent on by Pulis to replace Faye, who looks to have picked up an injury.
59 Eboue turns Shawcross and then unleashes a drive towards goal which Sorensen does excellently to tip over the bar. Good play allround.
58 Delap wipes the ball down with a towel as he gets ready for a long one. The ball floats towards Almunia who fumbles the ball. The referee blows his whistle as Shawcross was deemed to have pushed the Spanish goalkeeper.
56 Arsenal are playing the ball around with conviction now. Stoke are struggling at times to keep up with them.
55 Campbell runs out of defence and plays Eboue in down the right flank. The utility-man sends a delicious ball towards the feet of Fabregas but Sorensen does excellently to dive early and smother the ball. Great tempo to the game at the moment.
53 Eboue charges into the area and looks for a penalty under a challenge from Shawcross. Nothing giving from the ref, however.
52 Stoke are piling on the pressure now with corner after corner. The third deliver is gratefully caught by Almunia.
51 Stoke win a throw which Delap hauls into the box. However, the Gunners defend strongly and the ball goes out for a corner.
50 Clichy picks up the ball on his weaker side but still manages to unleash a fierce drive straight into the arms of Sorensen.
49 Fabregas slides the ball in to the feet of Ramsey in the box. Faye makes a tackle but the Arsenal players are not happy and want a penalty. The referee turns his back on their protests.
48 Fuller is adjudged to have fouled Clichy on the edge of the Arsenal box and Almunia is able to boot the ball clear.
Rich isn't happy with the ref: Peter Walton may as well put an Arsenal shirt on tonight, he's having a 'mare' and missing a lot off the ball. Typical ref attitude of 'protect the big club over the small club', he really is giving Stoke very little. Arsenal getting away with a lot off the ball and Campbell is embarrasing for his size throwing himself around trying to get Fuller in trouble. Can't believe he let Vermaelen and Fabregas's challenges from behind go unpunished, very weak show so far from the ref. Stoke to win 2-1, with Tuncay coming off the bench to create havoc!
46 Straight from the kick off Fuller attacks, but he loses control of the ball and the move breaks down.
46 The match has restarted for the second period...
Stoke are now 9/2 to win the match, while Fabregas is 13/2 to be the next goalscorer...
45+2 The referee has blown for half-time with the scores deadlocked. See you in 15 minutes...
45+2 The Gunners play keep-ball inside the Stoke half. Delap becomes frustrated and goes and wins the ball from Ramsey with a clean challenge.
45+1 Tony Pulis looks nervous on the sidelines. He will want his side to stay strong and defend like they have been doing.
45 There will be two added minutes...
44 Nasri is content with keeping the ball at his feet as he runs around aimlessly.
43 Eboue breaks for Arsenal, Bendtner provides support and then lays the ball off for Ramsey. The Welshman takes too long and Stoke are able to close down the danger.
42 Fabregas slides in on Shawcross from behind. The defender is not happy and gives the Spaniard a piece of his mind. No booking but a few words from the ref.
41 Delap beats Clichy with ease and puts in a ball which is dealt with by Vermaelen.
40 Eboue is brought down by Dean Whitehead 25 yards out. Fabregas hits the free kick but Fuller gets his body in the way and the danger disappears.
38 The Potters look shocked at the moment. Their passing is poor and Fuller is having to do all the running in attack. They will want half time now.
37 Ramsey finds the feet of Eboue on the edge of the penalty area but Faye is equal to the task and gets rid of the danger.
36 Arsenal are playing with some extra confidence. Would not surprise me if they score again before the break.
Tam from Rotherham: 4-1 stoke is nonsense.....it wont happen, im going for 2-1 Arsenal, as i expect there to be hairdryer treatment form wenger ant half time and the players to come out in the second half with a more attacking attitude and seal the points
35 A ball over the top is chased down by Delap. The midfielder pulls it back to Fuller inside the area and the big forward twists and turns his way into space before Almunia races out and gathers at his feet.
33 Bendtner is fouled by Pugh on the halfway line. After an initial poor cross and some sloppy defending, Stoke are able to hack the ball clear.
Fabregas sends a great ball into the area which Bendtner meets with an excellent header and finds the far corner. Nice finish, fabulous cross.
31 GOAL: BENDTNER
30 Gael Clichy teases the ball into the area but Stoke stand strong and clear through Faye. Arsenal are wasting their time with high crosses, they need to play to their strengths.
28 Fuller wins a free-kick from a duel with Campbell. Faye knocks it into the area which Sidibe heads down to Shawcross, who hits a shot into a group of players. Andy Wilkinson then hits the rebound just wide of the post.
27 Pugh has not stopped running since his goal. He is really up for it today.
26 Shawcross knocks a routine header into the path of Fabregas who hits a fierce drive which is well saved by Sorensen.
Robert is looking for a big Stoke win: I am a Liverpool fam & cannot believe Arsenal are tough enough. 4-1 Stoke is great value!
24 Campbell makes a last-ditch tackle to take the ball away from Fuller. Delap throws the ball into the area which Sidibe wins but the Gunners are able to clear after some ping-pong inside the penalty area.
23 Delap launches the ball into the box from a throw but it misses everyone and eventually goes out for a goal kick.
21 Vermaelen chops down Fuller and gets a talking to by the referee.
20 The Gunners have found their passing game, but Stoke are still putting a lot of pressure on them.
19 Fuller outmuscles Thomas Vermaelen but the Belgian defender makes up for his mistake and puts the ball out for a throw in.
18 Campbell looks for Sagna long but the ball is too heavy and runs out of play.
17 Cesc Fabregas and Emmanuel Eboue combine well but the Ivory Coast international is unable to get past a sliding Faye.
16 Ramsey drives forward with the ball but is unable to beat Shawcross who comes out and makes a no-nonsense clearance.
15 Bendtner picks the ball up on the edge of the penalty area but his effort is weak and goes wide for a goal kick.
14 Almunia hits a long ball in search of Nicklas Bendtner but the Danish forward is beaten to it in the air by Abdoulaye Faye.
13 Alex Song and Aaron Ramsey are finding space hard to come by in midfield. Good pressing by the home side.
11 Sagna rushes down the right flank but is well tackled by Pugh and a corner is awarded. The resulting corner comes to nothing.
9 Arsene Wenger does not look happy at all. He will want a positive response from his charges as this is their chance to close the gap at the top.
8 Stoke are knocking the ball around confidently now. Will be interesting to see how Arsenal respond.
Delap throws the ball in long, Ryan Shawcross flicks the ball on and Pugh dives in at the far post to head home from very close range. Great start to the match.
7 GOAL: DANNY PUGH!
6 The Gunners attack for the first time through Samir Nasri but Stoke are equal to the threat at the back and are able to clear the danger.
5 Delap hauls in his first throw of the evening. Mamady Sidibe rises highest to meet it but his effort flies wide of the right post.
Duncan is a proud Potter: Stoke to win 2-1 with Ricardo getting the winner. Go on you mighty POTTERS.
3 Bacary Sagna is down after receiving a push in the back from Fuller. He looks okay...
2 Stoke are pushing Arsenal back in this early exchanges. Rory Delap hits a low cross in which Manuel Almunia is able to grab down low.
1 Ricardo Fuller bombs down the right flank and whips a ball in which is sliced clear by Sol Campbell
1 We have kicked off...
Rob, a Liverpool fan, feels Stoke will struggle in attack: This is an interesting one but I don't see Stoke scoring today. 1-0 or 2-0 to Arsenal with Fabregas or Bentner on the scoresheet, will be a tight game though I'd imagine.
Ann is going for a Gunners victory: Arsenal were beaten here last month and will have learned a lot more about Stoke's set-pieces and Delap-idator missiles. If they play their game and dominate possession, they should win easily, but they'll need to focus for 90 minutes. Gunners to win 3-1.
Pre-Match: Veteran Sol Campbell returns as Arsenal look to maintain their Barclays Premier League title challenge at Stoke. The former England defender, who partners Thomas Vermaelen, makes his first start in the competition since rejoining the club last month. Bacary Sagna also returns for Arsene Wenger's side while Stoke welcome back Abdoulaye Faye, Andy Wilkinson and Danny Pugh. Arsenal have lost on their last two visits to the Britannia Stadium - including an FA Cup tie in January - after failing to handle Rory Delap's infamous throw-ins, but a first win at Stoke since 1982 would lift them to within three points of leaders Chelsea.
