7 - Right-way Micah Richards marauds down the right after linking up well with Shaun Wright-Phillips - but Russia clear the danger.

5 - Danger Campbell gives away a free-kick 30 yards from goal, but Russia waste possession as the ball flys harmlessly out for a goal-kick.

3 - Attack England's first attack gives Wayne Rooney a sight of goal. The Manchester United ace headed on a long free-kick and then got on the end of the ball before firing wide. Half a chance for England.

1 - Throw Russia attack first and win a thrown-in close to the by-line through Alexander Kerzhakov. Andrei Arshavin looks to create trouble and Jolean Lescott and Rio Ferdinand are forced to scramble clear.

Anthems The two sides line-up for the national anthems and it certainly looks like England have a hostile 90 minutes ahead of them.

Water Just before kick-off water cannon at each end of the stadium are soaking the plastic surface, only time will tell whether that will hinder or benefit either side.
