90: GOAL for Chelsea! I take it all back - Sheva's done it. Essien's measured pass was perfection, the lashed finish pretty good too.
86: Great chance for Chelsea Kalou's measured ball across goal only needed a touch but Chelsea's strikers failed to notch.
Drogba off for Chelsea The in-form striker has been subbed, to be replaced by Claudio Pizarro.
75: GOAL for Chelsea! Essien's pass bypassed the woeful Garrido and with an assured finish Kalou beat Hart.
72: Sheva effort blocked Andrei looks hungry for a goal but his legs look like they're made of stone. He's chugging around but to no avail.
66: Chelsea sub The excellent Cole has gone off to be replaced by Andrei Shevchenko.
Chelsea running riot City have to be careful here as Chelsea are on fire and could yet go for more. City's backline has been woeful all afternoon.
60: GOAL for Chelsea! Drogba's flicked header into the path of Joe Cole was excellent and with a sublime finish with the outside of his foot, the England man netted Chelsea's fourth.
Drogba blows hat-trick chance A treble looked in the offing for the Chelsea man but he got his bearings all wrong in failing to sort his feet out. Earlier, and Hart denied Lampard from the edge of the box.
55: GOAL for Chelsea! Drogba's second for Blues. Lampard's shot from close range after a scramble in the box was saved well by Hart's outstretched foot and on the rebound, Drogba showed power to slam past City's crestfallen keeper.
50: Petrov pings free-kick wide The Bulgarian loves a shot and he's just had another - this time a free-kick that drifted a yard or so wide.
Lampard lapping it up Fair play to Frank this afternoon - he's been the game's stand-out performer with a series of excellent passes.
48: Miserable Samaras shoots wide Fair to say City's lone striker has not been at his best, with a timid effort that has just drifted wide his latest attempt. Bianchi must be entering Sven's thoughts by now.
46: Chelsea on the front foot It is the home side that have started the brighter as they sit confidently on a two-goal cushion.

44: Johnson booked The City midfielder has entered Riley's book for a late lunge on Mikel.
Another penalty appeal rejected Cole's pass across goal looked to be on the money for Kalou - only for Dunne to unadvertantly trip the forward. No pen said Riley.
37: Glorious chance for Ireland The midfielder was presented with a great chance on the edge of Chelsea's box but his finish was both meek and wide.
36: Decent stop from Hart Kalou went on the outside and fired in at Hart's near post but the youngster was equal to it.
City survive penalty appeal A rash challenge on Drogba could have resulted in a Chelsea penalty but Riley waved away the home side's protest.
30: GOAL for Chelsea! Frank Lampard's pass with the outside of his boot eluded City's Richards and after taking the ball in his stride, Didier Drogba slotted home with aplomb.
Micah goes nuts! Frank Lampard, who has just done a dying swan act in City's box, has incurred the wrath of Micah Richards. Frank fought back, peeping behind big Didier. Both are booked by Mike Riley.
27: Angle too tight for Drogba Kalou's pass was superb into the path of Drogba, but the angle was too acute as he struck wide at the near post.
Essien booked Chelsea's goalscorer has been shown yellow for bringing down Elano.
24: Great defending from Dunne A whipped ball in from Cole looked all set to be gobbled up by Drogba but with the feintest of touches, Dunne deflected the ball over the Ivorian's head.
21: Excellent save from Cech Petrov's strike from a full 30-yards was straight and true but Cech was behind it to tip wide. Setpieces could yet prove to be City's best chance for a goal.
16: GOAL for Chelsea! An excellent move involving Mikel and Lampard culminated in the latter feeding in Essien, and from a tight angle, the midfielder lashed past Joe Hart.
14: Good defending from Dunne The big Irishman was back to cover as Chelsea begin to turn the screw. Lampard is lining up efforts left, right and centre - while Richards too has had to demonstrate some good positional play.
12: Good strike from Samaras A dipping effort from the Greek hit-man caused Cech to gather at his near post from a full 30 yards.
11: Waste from Lampard The England man did well to make inroads after eluding Hamann with a clever turn on the centre circle, but his pass to Kalou has horribly over-hit.
8: Kalou goes close Alex's header from a Lampard corner caused consternation as Kalou threatened to tap home. Petrov was on hand to clear the danger. Thus far it's very much honours even.
5: Decent chance for Ireland Slack Chelsea marking allowed Elano to find an advanced Ireland but his prodded stab for goal was tipped wide by Cech.
2: Elano wins free-kick The brilliant Brazilian has won a free-kick midway in Chelsea's half but his floated cross comes to nothing.
1: City kick-off Manchester City get things underway in West London. It should be an entertaining game which ensues in the capital.
