FULL-TIME:Everton left it late for two expertly taken efforts in injury time from James Vaughan and Lee Carsley after Birmingham looked to have rescued a point through an Olivier Kapo header. The home side thoroughly deserved the win and took an early lead when Yakubu tapped home from six yards after 10 minutes. Birmingham fought back well for the equaliser but Everton's pace and strength killed off the Blues as the Toffees are now unbeaten in their last two league games.
