90+3 - FULL-TIME: It's all over and Arsenal take all three points. It's hard on Wigan, who competed well and could easily have had a point, but there's little doubt that Arsenal were the better side today.

90+3 - Arsenal Corner: Denilson's shot is deflected and Arsenal have a corner. Wigan bring Skoko on for Scharner, who appears to have taken a knock.

86 - GOAL!!!: Rosicky takes advantage on the counter-attack, with Bendtner playing him in just right of centre before the Czech midfielder fires across Pollitt and in off the post.

72 - YELLOW CARDS: Bent is given a yellow card after a rash challenge on Denilson. There was a huge coming together between the two sides after the foul with Heskey and Gallas involved, and the pair are both booked as well.

70 - Clichy Overplays It: Clichy finds a chance opening up as he approaches the edge of the area, but he dwells on, misses the chance to shoot and tries a through-ball that was never on.

69 - SUBS: Heskey returns from injury to replace Olembe, while Arsenal bring Eduardo on for Eboue.

67 - Arsenal Go Close Again: A free-kick from the left looks to have found a way through, but Pollitt reacts well. The ball comes back to Arsenal eventually, but Rosicky's shot goes over.

66 - Across Goal: Adabayor finds himself in the area and plays it across the face of the goal, but there's no one there to convert it.

64 - Arsenal In Ascendancy: The home side put more pressure on, but Wigan have defended well and it's not clear if they will be able to force a goal.

62 - Bent Shot: Gallas and Toure fail to take the ball from Bent and he gets a shot away from the edge of the area, but it doesn't threaten.

61 - Adabayor Tackled: Boyce makes a superb last-gasp tackle in the penalty area as Arsenal counter-attack.

45+3: HALF-TIME: A muted response from the crowd and Wenger appears unhappy after Arsenal fail to break down a resilient Wigan side. Arsenal have been guilty of misplaced passes and miscontrolling the ball far more often than normal, and the absentees look to be sorely missed at this point.

45 - Arsenal Free-Kick: Arsenal get the chance to deliver a cross from the right wing after Sagna is brought down, but Eboue's cross doesn't come to anything.

43 - Brown Warned: The midfielder gives away another foul and is warned by referee Peter Walton.

42 - Deflection: Denilson's shot takes a big deflection off Granquist and lands on top of Pollitt's net.

40 - Wigan Corner: Eboue tackles Koumas and Wigan get another corner, but the Wales international plays it straight to Almunia.

38 - Arsenal Frustration: Both Arsene Wenger and the crowd are showing signs of frustration as The Gunners fail to break Wigan down, but they look like winning this eventually if they continue to press.

36 - Scharner Chance: Bent manages to get a touch on a through-ball to set up Scharner for the shot, but he blasts it well over from outside the area.

35 - Shot Blocked: Walcott has a shot blocked by Boyce as Arsenal play it across goal from the right.

33 - Bent Goes Close: Boyce puts a nice cross in for Bent, but the former Everton man can't keep it down under pressure from Toure and Arsenal escape.

31 - Arsenal Again: Great build-up play on the right ends with Walcott beating his marker and playing it across, but Eboue somehow fails to make decent contact in front of goal and the chance is lost.

29 - Walcott Shot: Nice build-up and a nice piece of skill from the youngster, but the shot goes horribly over.

28 - Arsenal Free-Kick: Rosicky races away on a counter-attack, but Scharner runs too close to the back of him and clips his heel. The free-kick is short, however, and easily cleared.

26 - Bramble Clearance: Eboue swings a fine ball in for Walcott, but Bramble is there again.

25 - Denilson Shot: Arsenal combine brilliantly with some great one-touch football, but Denilson slightly slices his shot over.

21 - Adabayor Goes Close: Adabayor and Walcott combine in the area despite the close attentions of the Wigan defence, but Pollitt produces a fine save to deny the striker.
