Ashton: Equaliser

Full-time: West Ham 2 Fulham 1. The Hammers probably deserved the three points after creating more clear cut chances. Further misery for Roy Hodgson who has yet to see his side win.

90 + 3 - Great block: Bullard pulls the trigger from 10-yards out but the West Ham defence get bodies in the way and deflect the ball to safety.

90 + 2 - Ambitious: Ashton with a half-volley from 20-yards which drops wide. He did have Bowyer bursting up next to him though and should have played him in.

90 + 1 - Promising: Fulham knock the ball around well but the final pass to Baird is too strong and rolls out of play.

Sub: Julien Faubert makes his debut for West Ham at the expense of Ljungberg. The Hammers fans are looking forward to seeing the Frenchman in action.

87 - Shut out: Fulham are trying to get forward more as time runs out but the Hammers defence looks solid.

86 - Not even close: Bullard is obviously keen to get invloved, but his free-kick is awful and sails into row Z behind the West Ham goal.

84 - Too high: Ashton does well to squeeze a cross in from the by-line. It drifts over the head of Niemi but is also fractionally too high for Bowyer.

Sub: Lee Bowyer on for Matt Etherington.

82 - Poor again: Noble's set-pieces have blown hot and cold this afternoon. Another disappointing one this time as his free-kick is dealt with by the first defender.

Booking: Konchesky cautioned for a wild challenge on Ljungberg.

Sub: Bullard on for Volz. Jimmy Bullard makes his long awaited return from injury for Fulham. Smertin also comes on for Healy.

77 - What a miss: Murphy with a chipped free-kick and Baird is unmarked 3-yards out. Soemhow the defender manages to send the ball over the bar when it looked easier to score.

76 - Crucial: Dempsey gets his head to Davies' corner and is disapponited to see his effort cleared off the line by Noble.

75 - Wrong choice: Murphy frees Healy in behind but as he gets the by-line his pull back is nowhere near a Fulham player.

72 - Well won: Volz with a good cross from the left and Murphy does well to win the header. The midfielder is too far out though and fails to control the direction of his attempt.

71 - Had to score: Ljungberg wins a high ball against Konchesky and Ashton gets a toe to the knock down. From inside the six-yard box his effort drifts wide. Stefanovic probably did just enough to put him off.

69 - GOAL: West Ham 2 Fulham 1. Noble does brilliantly to keep the ball in play and his sliding cross his crashed past Niemi by Ferdinand who had come up for an earlier corner.

68 - No time: Ljungberg picks out Boa Morte in the box, he wants too much time to pick his spot though and a whole host of Fulham defenders throw themselves in front of his shot.

66 - Too wide: Volz breaks into the box, but his stabbed ball towards Healy pushes the striker wide and he fails to get his cross past the first man.

Sub: Luis Boa Morte comes on against his former club in place of Carlton Cole.

64 - Almost: Stefanovic struggles against Cole's pace but just manages to get a toe to the ball with the striker almost through on goal.

61 - Double chance: Cole's header from Noble's corner is hacked off the line by Konchesky and Upson's effort from another cross drifts just wide. West Ham definitely on top this half.

60 - Unhappy: Baird works hard down the right and looks to have won a corner. The assistant referee disagrees though and receives a mouthful from the full-back.

59 - No way through: Noble finds space in the box to get a shot away but it catches Stefanovic and cannons up into the air and into the hands of Niemi.

58 - Close: Dempsey tries his luck from 20-yards and his effort flies just wide of Green's left-hand post.

54 - Stands firm: Etherington lays the ball into the path of an onrushing Noble, but his well hit shot smashes straight into Stefanovic and behind for a corner. Fulham deal with the resulting set-piece.

52 - Waste: Davies with an opportunity to put West Ham under pressure, but he wastes his cross as it sails over the waiting Healy in the middle.

51 - Ljungberg threat: A low ball into the box by the Swede this time, but Hughes reads the danger and hammers clear. Ljungberg has started really brightly.

50 - Solid: Good cross from Ljungberg is put behind by Hughes with Cole looking to pounce.

49 - More time: Another good chance for Ashton. Ljungberg helps the ball into the box where the striker has found space, but his attempt to loop the ball towards the back post goes wrong and never threatens Niemi on this occasion.

47 - Tested: First attack of the half from West Ham and Fulham do well to stand firm when bombarded with high balls into the box.

Second-half: Fulham get us back underway.

Half-time West Ham 1 Fulham 1. Fulham took a fortuitous lead, but West Ham have got better as the game went on and they really should be leading.

45 + 2 - Mix-up: Ljungberg dallies on the ball and his clearance is deflected right across the face of goal. Green had come to help the Swede out and his well out of his goal, but no Fulham player is on hand to knock the ball into an empty net.

45 + 1 - Take a touch: McCartney with time and space on the left and plenty to aim at, but he slices his cross and Fulham can take a breather.

45 - Pressure: Fulham struggle to clear theri lines after a West Ham corner, but countless balls into the box fail to produce a chance on goal.

44 - Great chance: Cole muscles past Hughes and has the goal in his sights. His low shot is too close to Niemi though who continues to frustrate the Hammers. Cole should have done a lot better.

42 - Pace: Etherington leaves Volz standing but Hughes comes across to help out and gets a foot to the winger's attemtped cross. Etherington has caused Fulham real problems with his pace this half.

41 - Great effort: Ashton ties Stefanovic in knots and hits a great shot with his left foot that is destined for the top corner. Once again though Niemi is able to keep him out with an acrobatic save. Two world class stops by Niemi now from Ashton.

39 - Block: Konchesky lifts the ball into Dempsey but he is outnumbered on the edge of the box and fails to get a shot away.

37 - Unmarked: Murphy's corner to the near post is met by Hughes but he can't control his flicked volley and it sails into the crowd.

36 - Safe: Baird climbs over McCartney to knock a header towards the back-post, Ferdinand takes no chances and knocks it behind.

33 - Brilliant save: Etherington finds Ashton is space 10-yards out, he brings the ball down on his chest and smashes a volley goalwards. Niemi though is equal to it, springing to his right to push the ball one-handed onto the bar. Great stop.

31 - Strong challenge: West Ham look a different side, and it is Mullins this time that crunches into a tackle to get the crowd on their feet.

29 - Another chance: With confidence restored, Noble delivers a great corner and Ferdinand climbs highest to send a powerful header into the arms of Niemi.

28 - GOAL: West Ham 1 Fulham 1. Great ball from the right by Ljungberg and Ashton gets across his marker to flick his header across Niemi and into the corner.

27 - Block: Healy with a good break down the left, he takes too long though deciding when to send over a cross and Ferdinand knocks the ball behind. The set-piece comes to nothing.

26 - Dreadful: Noble again. Yet another silly free-kick conceded by Fulham, but the midfielder's set-piece goes directly out of play giving no-one a chance to compete.

25 - First corner: Upson gets his head to Noble's delivery but no Hammers player challenges for the second ball and it is cleared.

24 - Well held: Noble with another free-kick, this time swung in from the right, but Niemi claims really well coming through a crowd of players.

23 - Better: Spector and Ferdinand combine well to muscle out Healy after the striker tries to get on the end of Dempsey's flick.

21 - Needless: West Ham give possession away in midfield and Dempsy looks to put Healy away into the acres of space behind the Hammers defence. The striker moves too soon though and is off-side. He shouldn't have been as he was looking right along the line.

20 - Woeful: The Hammers sloppiness is spreading further forward. Noble gets the opportunity to lift a free-kick into the box but his delivery is awful and is easily cleared.

18 - Burst: Volz steams into the box, but his effort hits Davis who was also chasing the pass and West Ham survive another bout of sloppy defending.

17 - Up in the air: Stefanovic's clearance goes more up then out and he is lucky to be saved by an offside flag as Noble tries to free Etherington.

Sub: The injured Bocanegra has been forced to give way to Aaron Hughes.

14 - Great run: Etherington sprints past Murphy down the left but his delivery is poor and trickles along the ground straight to the grateful boot of Stefanovic. Wasted opportunity for the Hammers.

13 - Poor: More woeful defending by West Ham, this time by Ljungberg, and Davies gets a snap-shot in on goal. It strikes his own player though and deflects wide.

11 - Injuries: Bocanegra and Ljungberg have both had to receive treatment for head wounds, which is doing nothing to help the flow of the game.

10 - Quiet start: Fulham got lucky with the goal and the game is yet to come to life. The West Ham faithful are really quiet and they need to do something to try and lift their players.

7 - GOAL: West Ham 0 Fulham 1. Great delivery from a free-kick by Davies. Bocanegra looks to get a touch but the ball appears to go straight in. Sloppy defending by West Ham.

6 - Difficult: Noble lifts a free-kick into the box, but Upson can only flick the ball out of play under pressure from Bocanegra.

5 - Pressure: Ashton defending from the front and puts a strong challenge in on Stefanovic. The striker knows he needs to show he deserves a run in the side.

3 - Poor touch: McCartney with a lofted pass down the left to Cole, but the striker's control lets him down and it breaks off him and out of play.

1- First attempt: Healy gets in front of Upson and lays the ball off to Dempsey on the edge of the box. The American can't keep his prodded effort down though and it sails over the bar.
