Massive cheer! A massive cheer has just gone up around the stadium with the news that Bolton have just lost 3-2 to the Gunners - it just gets better for the Black Cats fans!!
FULL-TIME Sunderland win 2-1 thanks to Reid's late strike. It is only what they deserve after dominating the second-half. I think the roof has been lifted off the Stadium of Light with the noise!! John from Cork, your 2-1 prediction was right! Thank you everyone for your views and watch out for post-match reaction from both managers.
90 (+4) - GOAL!!!!!!!!!!! Sunderland win it in the last minute through Reid. He hits a left-footed volley into the bottom corner after the ball finds him on the far-post.
90 (+2) - Sunderland press Sunderland press but still can not find a way through. It looks like it will be a draw.
90 mins - Injury time Five minutes of injury time are announced. It is all Sunderland.
More views John from Cork still thinks the Black Cats will win 2-1 - Jones almost got you a goal John but the ball has gone out for a corner which the Hammers have again cleared.
86 mins - Ljungberg down Ljungberg has also gone down clutching his hamstring. He is stretchered off and the Hammers must finish with 10 men as they have used all their subs.
84 mins - Ashton down Ashton goes down injured but eventually gets up.
80 mins - Murphy off Murphy is brought off by Keane, who was planning to replace him anyway with O'Donovan. He gives the striker a consoling tap but Murphy is upset as he knows he should have won the Black Cats the game.
79 mins - Terrible miss Jones sets Murphy up with a gilt-edged chance but he blasts over with the goal gaping - this miss will haunt him for a long time. He is just five yards out and keeper Green is nowhere - how did he miss?
77 mins - Parker effort Ashton finds Parker on the right of the box and he shoots but Evans does well to block the ball. The Hammers take the corner but the Black Cats clear. It could still go either way this game.
74 mins - Tomkins on Tomkins comes on for the injured Paintsil. Neill has conceded a free-kick for a hand-ball. Reid takes the free-kick but the Hammers clear.
More views Callum Liddiard says: "Im going for a west ham win. 2-1. we definitely have the quality to beat sunderland. i think scott parker will win it for us. Although i think west ham will win, i certainly think sunderland will avoid the drop. They are a big club with fantastic support. they should be okay !"
Samantha Fair says: "I reckon that west ham should win this match. i dont want our manager to get the sack. come on you hammers we gotta win"
70 mins - Sunderland subs Leadbitter and Edwards come on for Richardson and Chopra.
69 mins - Reid effort Ferdinand fouls Jones and gives away a free-kick 25 yards out. Both Richardson and Reid fancy it and it is Reid who hits the ball but it goes over the bar. Richardson is not impressed!
67 mins - Ashton shot Gordon makes a very poor clearance which goes straight to Parker but he holds onto the ball for too long and finally finds Ashton who puts his shot wide of the right upright. It has been all Sunderland but one silly mistake could have changed everything.
64 mins - Solano on West Ham are being over-run and Curbishley has brought on Solano for Cole to try and stem the tide. The Stadium of Light lets former Magpie Solano know what they think of him!
63 mins - Murphy shot Murphy has a shot from the edge of the box but it goes wide.
62 mins - Sunderland corner The Black Cats win a corner but again the Hammers hang on after Jones misses his header.
60 mins - Good spell Sunderland are having a great spell and are creating chance after chance, the best of which fell to Murphy but the Hammers are so far hanging on. There is a great atmosphere in the stadium, it is deafening!
More views Jack Lloyd says: "I am a west ham fan and my views are - Freddie Sears to come on in 70th min, assist Dean Ashton and score in the 89th min. prediction : 3 - 1 to the might irons!!!"
Mark Richardson says: "These could vital points for the lads as the rest of the games involving the bottom team are not going Sunderland's way."
56 mins - Jones injured Jones goes down under a clash of heads but is okay to carry on after treatment on the pitch.
55 mins - Last warning Cole gets his last warning off the ref after throwing the ball away. He is on a yellow card and must be very careful.
53 mins - Off-the-line Sunderland have an effort off-the-line. Murphy does well to win a corner and the ball is crossed over. Collins beats Ashton at the far-post and heads towards goal but Neill is there to clear off the line. Unlucky.
Your views There's been lots of views in. Here goes with a sample of what you've said....Ronnie Tyler says: "I'm a Hammers season ticket holder and I reckon Wet Ham will snatch a 3-2 win, just as it was in October at Upton Park! West Ham definitely have the quality to beat Sunderland. Ashton to score next 2? He is on a bit of a roll... 2 goals in 2 games is definitely England quality!!?? Hhmmm...With the way the results are going today, West Ham could close the gap to just a few points on the teams above them. Europe just looks one step too far this year, but at least we're safe!!"
Pete Bell says: "I'm a season ticket holder at Sunderland, gave it to one of my freinds for today's match, thought we would get beat, did not want to watch it but now i wish i went. I think Sunderland will pinch a win with a late goal, maybe from a set peice with Andy Reid taking it, he is quality."
Thanks for your views lads!
49 mins - Hammers' free-kick The Hammers wion a free-kick 35 yards out and Ashton lays the ball off to Noble who shoots but his effort is charged down and the Black Cats clear.
47 mins - Sunderland press Sunderland have two great chances. Firstly Richardson shoots but Green catches, then Murphy puts a cross in from the right. It is a dangerous ball and Spector has to deal with it put puts his clearance just wide of his left-post. It is so close to an own goal!
Re-start West Ham re-start the game. Paintsil is on for McCartney who is injured. He slots in at right-back and Neill moves over to the left to cover. Will the Black Cats be able to take advantage?
More views John Hannah has been back in touch believing Reid will get the second in a 2-1 Sunderland win. HALF-TIME It is all square at the Stadium of Light after a really entertaining first-half. The Hammers pounded the Black Cats at first and deserved their lead through Ljungberg. But the Black Cats fought back and also deserved their equaliser through Jones. It all sets things up nicely for the second-half - I can't wait! - though I'm off for a quick cup of tea!!
44 mins - Penalty shout Parker goes down in the box under a Nosworthy challenge but the ref waves on and the ball falls to Ljungberg but he does not score. There are boos reverberating around the Stadium of Light at Parker.
43 mins - Mighty let-off Sunderland win another corner and the kick is taken. Collins gets the right-side of his defender at the far-post and just has to head in from five yards but puts his effort wide. He should have scored and Keane will be mad!
39 mins - Sunderland chances Sunderland win a free-kick 30 yards out in front of goal. Reid's free-kick hits the wall and falls to Bardsley who drives one towards goal but Parker charges the ball down and it goes out for a corner. Sunderland take but Ashton heads clear but the Black Cats put the ball in again and the Hammers give another corner away. The Black Cats take but West Ham clear. Phew!!
37 mins - Fantastic save Gordon make a wonder save to deny Cole. Ashton finds Cole on the left-hand edge of the Sunderland box and the striker hits one towards the top left-hand corner. It looks every inch a goal but the keeper somehow manages to tip the ball over. The Hammers take the corner and Spector almost scores but heads just wide. Two great chances.
36 mins - Reid shot Reid shoots from 25 yards out but Green gathers. It is all the Black Cats at present.

29 mins - GOAL!!!!!! Jones equalises for the Black Cats. Reid finds Richardson on the left and the winger crosses. Murphy back-heals the ball on the near-post and Jones just has a tap-in to make. You Black Cats fans could be right in predicting a win!!
25 mins - Murphy shot Murphy shoots just wide of the land-hand upright from the edge of the box. He should perhaps have done better and made Green work.
24 mins - Cole warned Cole has picked up an injury and makes another rash challenge and is warned by the ref. He had better be careful.
23 wins - Cole booked Cole is booked for a challenge on Whitehead after he lost the ball. Deserved card.
21 mins - Sunderland corner Sunderland win a free-kick on the right and Ferdinand has to make an important header for a corner to deny Evans who is running in at the far-post. The Black Cats take the corner and Jones is running in to score but Green holds firm and catches.
Daniel's view Daniel Seery from Ireland got in touch before the goal. He said: "I think I better write in to defend the Hammers..Sunderland need the points bigtime but the Hammers wont give in easy. Tough Game for both teams - i'll go 2-1 West Ham." You could be right mate!
18 mins - GOAL!!!!!!! The Hammers take the lead through Ljungberg. Cole lays it back to the Swede on the right and no-one closes him down so he shoots and the ball is deflected off Nosworthy past Gordon into the right-hand corner. It is a deserved lead.
14 mins - Noble shot It is end to end and Noble puts a shot wide. He was able to carry the ball 20 yards towards the Sunderland goal without being closed down which will worry Keane.
13 mins - Sunderland press The Black Cats press and win a corner. The kick is taken and Jones goes down under a shove from Ferdinand, with the Stadium of Light baying for a penalty but the ref waves on. Murphy then puts his shot wide.
11 mins - Cole shot Cole shoots from the edge of the box after making space for himself but his effort goes wide. It is all West Ham at present.
9 mins - Hit post Ashton hits the left-hand post from the edge of the box. He is found by Parker and places the ball past Gordon. It is a great strike and he is very unlucky.
8 mins - Corner West Ham win a corner after Bardsley heads out a good cross put Sunderland clear.
More predictions Thank you to the three Johns who have sent their predictions in - both John Mullins and John Browne predict 2-0 wins, while John Hannah thinks it will be 2-1 to Sunderland with a Boa Morte red-card!
4 mins - Free-kick West Ham win a free-kick on the right and Noble puts the ball in. Gordon makes a mistake and lets the ball go over his head but Ferdinand can not get on it at the far post. A let-off for the Sunderland keeper.
3 mins - Chopra shot Chopra hits a shot from the edge of the box on the right just wide of the right-hand upright.
Paul's prediction Paul gets the first prediction in. He says: "Hi Paul here from Gateshead, now living in Cyprus. A Sunderland win against the Hammers in a tight game, i'd say 2-1 to Sunderland - haway the lads!" Roy Keane will hope you're right Paul!
Kick-off The Black Cats get the game underway and put the ball into the West Ham box in the first minute but Chopra can not get his head on it. Unlucky.
