Bendtner heads Arsenal level
90 +3 - ALL OVER: Things end even with a fair 1-1 score line. Liverpool and Arsenal suffer a dose of deja vu in part two of their domestic and European trilogy as they play out a draw at Emirates Stadium to severely dent the Gunners' Premier League title hopes, but boost. However, Liverpool will welcome the result as they target fourth place. Stay with Skysports.com for all the post-match reaction.
90 + 2 - Great chance: Hleb has a clear sight at goal, but he fails to control the ball and Liverpool clear for a corner before removing the danger.
90 - Added time: There is three minutes left for Arsenal to save their domestic season as United fans begin to laugh.
87 - Madness: Lucas is lucky to escape a little shrug at the shirt of Fabregas in the penalty area.
85 - End-to-end: Both sides are going for it, but Abdul you will be disappointed to hear El Nino has just played a very poor pass when he could have put Gerrard in.
83 - Embarrassing: Voronin skips past Almunia and could fire at goal but he loses his footing and the ball rolls out of play. Says it all.
81 - Substitutions: Flamini makes way for Hleb, but Liverpool are going for it as Torres comes on for Crouch.
80 - Optimistic: Voronin who has not had the best of times at Anfield this season has a pop from 25 yards, but it is well wide. And he then repeats the display as he prods well wide again.
77 - Clock watch: With less than 15 minutes to go, Liverpool appear to be settling for the draw, while Arsenal appear to have run out of ideas. Wenger must be considering bringing on Alexander Hleb.
74 - Substitution: Andrei Voronin comes on for Benayoun.
70 - Substitution: Traore makes way for Gael Clichy as Adebayor attempts an audacious back-heeled cross. easy on the eye, but keep it simple as there are vital points at stake here.
68 - Ouch: Millwall fan Scott in a ski resort in Kvitfjell, Norway is watching the commentary as he cannot ski because he has a broken neck! He wants Liverpool to win, but it looks like the Gunners at the minute as Reina saves a Mathieu Flamini from range. Hope the neck is not too bad.
67 - Booking: Eboue is shown a yellow card for challenging with arms raised on Riise. Things have died down a bit now. Looks like Liverpool have weathered the storm.
66 - Substitution: Pennant's afternoon is over as Gerrard comes on for Liverpool.
64 - Poor Pennant: The former Arsenal winger gives the ball away again. I think he has forgotten which team he plays for. Arsenal are pushing down the wings and looking for crosses. Not a characteristic tactic from the Gunners and they clearly sense a weakness in the Liverpool back line.
60 - Predictions: The predictions are flooding in now backing Arsenal to record a turn around as the Gunners force a corner.
58 - Backs to the wall: Arsenal are really putting their visitors under pressure. I have been very impressed by Walcott.
56 - Substitution: Arsenal are bringing on Emmanuel Adebayor for Justin Hoyte. The Gunners are flying now and are going for the three points.
54 - GOAL ARSENAL!!! Arsenal are back in it as Bendtner heads in. Pennant pays the price as from the resulting free-kick Reina is rooted to his line allowing the simplest of headers.
54 - Booking: Pennant goes in the booking for a silly challenge on Armand Traore.
51 - Arsenal corner: Walcott is again the danger as he sees his effort deflected wide for a corner. William Gallas wastes a header well wide from the resulting kick. The Arsenal defender should have done better. Arsenal look motivated for a good half.
50 - Confidence boost: Crouch's goal appears to have gone to his head as he attempts a effort from 30 yards. Well wide.
47 - Wake up call: Anne from Hawaii has been back in touch to say it is two in the morning where she is and she is desperate for her beloved Gunners to help her stay awake. Impressive dedication to the cause. Let's hope for a lively second half to help you stay away from the land of nod.
47 - WE'RE BACK: Arsenal get the second half going. What will Wenger have up his sleeve. Let me know at peter.fraser@bskyb.com.
45 + 2 - HALF-TIME: Liverpool are deservedly in front courtesy of Crouch's strike. Arsenal had a good 10 minutes immediately prior to their opponent's goal, but the home side have offered very little as an attacking threat. The second half promises to be a good watch. Liverpool will be desperate for a psychological edge ahead of the Champions League second leg, while the Gunners will be keen to get their title tilt back on track.
45 - Added time: There will be two minutes added time.
44 - More controversy: As half-time approaches and with Liverpool in the lead I have United fans informing me they are cheering on their Merseyside rivals with even more intensity. I would never have believed it. Amazing what the sniff of a Premier League trophy does to you.
42 - GOAL LIVERPOOL!!! A goal from nothing as Liverpool score. Crouch flicked on a Reina goal kick before receiving the ball back from Benayoun to turn three Arsenal defenders and scuff in a half volley from the edge of the box. Game on.
39 - Arsenal pressure: Arsenal are now on top as they win a corner, but Liverpool clear. The Gunners are beginning to find their passing grove.
38 - Finnan reprieve: We'll let Finnan off as Emmanuel Eboue breaks through, but the Liverpool right-back produces an excellent tackle to deny Fabregas in the centre.
36 - Walcott watch: A lot of you have been in touch to say Walcott is Arsenal's danger man and the call looks a good one. the youngster's pace is causing Liverpool a lot of problems and right-back Steve Finnan is struggling to cope.
35 - Waste: Nicklas Bendtner receives the ball as Walcott's pace causes Liverpool problems, but the forward fires the best chance of the match straight at Reina.
34 - Controversial: Manchester United fan Paul has been in touch to controversially nail his colours to the Liverpool mast. I know there is a title race to consider, but that is very brave of you.
32 - Good chance: Yossi Benayoun provides good support to Crouch and breaks through for a chance on goal, but he drags his effort well wide.
28 - Aloha from Hawaii: Arsenal fan Anne in Hawaii does not think part two has been as exciting as part one as Riise goes in the book for clattering Gilberto. But Anne believes Arsenal deserved to win in midweek and should do today. The Gunners will have to improve if they are to win. The natives are getting restless.
25 - Liverpool on top: The Reds are enjoying things at the moment and are looking for long balls to the back post and the lofty Crouch.
22 - The battle of the Isle of Man: Liverpool are having the better of things on the field, but the more interesting rivalry appears to be emerging on the Isle of Man as Abby hits back at Paul by claiming that Benitez is not gambling. I'm all for some Island banter, but let's keep it friendly. I don't want an Isle of Man argument on my hands!
20 - Observations: That 'effort' from Riise will not have helped the Norwegian's cause as it is rumoured Benitez is looking to off load the left-sided player in the summer. In other news, I think Reina is a great goalkeeper but he really struggles at crosses due to his height, or more specifically his lack of it.
17 - First chance: Lovely link up as Crouch feeds in John Arne Riise. Unfortunately for Liverpool the chance falls to Riise's swinger of a right foot as he balloons the ball over the bar when through on Manuel Almunia. Should have done better.
14 - No threat: Liverpool have offered very little as an attacking force so far. Paul on the Isle of Man believes Benitez is gambling with fourth place following today's team selection. This smacks of a game which both sides are desperate not to lose.
12 - Aerial threat: Liverpool goalkeeper Jose Reina looks nervous at the corner, as has always been the case during his time in England, but he just punches clear as Kolo Toure arrives. Arsenal may fancy their chances at crosses having opened the scoring from a well worked set play in midweek.
10 - All a bit flat: Not much atmosphere at the Emirates, but Arsenal have won a corner as the pace of Walcott threatens Skrtel.
8 - Not much happening: It has been a tight opening with a lot of long ball stuff from both sides. Crouch thinks he has snuck through, but he is denied by an offside flag. The Arsenal defence probably would have caught him anyway. Pace is not exactly the leggy forward's strong point.
5 - Good shout: Vinnie ' the passive observer' Lawlor has dropped me a line to say Torres could be lethal from the bench. A shrewd tactical observation sir. Meanwhile Jim fears Liverpool will get 'hammered' if they sit back. Perhaps not as shrewd, but everyone is entitled to an opinion.
3 - Early corner:Liverpool earn an early corner. But Skrtel fouls and allows Arsenal to clear.
1 - Early touch: Plessis, wearing number 47, settles his nerves with an early give-and-go. Theo Walcott has started on the left for Arsenal as Liverpool appear set up to sit off their hosts.
KICK-OFF: Liverpool - in white - get the game going. General consensus seems to be backing an Arsenal win. I would like to disagree with that. The Gunners are likely to have a point to prove, but do any Liverpool fans have a different opinion?
Kick-off approaches: This promises to be a cracker. Both managers have made plenty of changes for part two of the domestic-European trilogy, but there is plenty at stake. Arsenal are chasing the Premier League title, while Liverpool need to secure fourth place. Salim fears a thrashing for Liverpool and has questioned the selection of Plessis. But Bara Arman believes Wenger is risking more by taking on Benitez in rotation.
Liverpool team: Reina, Finnan, Carragher, Skrtel, Arbeloa, Plessis, Pennant, Benayoun, Lucas, Riise, Crouch. Subs: Itandje, Hyypia, Gerrard, Torres, Voronin.
Arsenal team: Almunia, Justin Hoyte, Gallas, Toure, Traore, Eboue, Fabregas, Gilberto, Flamini, Bendtner, Walcott. Subs: Lehmann, Hleb, Song Billong, Clichy, Adebayor.
What do you think: Both managers have rung the changes. Let me have your thoughts on this and any other matter during the match at peter.fraser@bskyb.com.
Liverpool team news: Reds boss Rafa Benitez has made eight alterations to his XI, handing a debut to French youngster Damien Plessis with England striker Peter Crouch back in attack. Captain Steven Gerrard is on the bench along with leading scorer Fernando Torres as only goalkeeper Pepe Reina, Jamie Carragher and Martin Skrtel retain their places.
Arsenal team news: The Gunners are much changed. Midfielder Gilberto, Nicklas Bendtner, Armand Traore, Justin Hoyte and Theo Walcott all come in. Togo striker Emmanuel Adebayor, who scored in the 1-1 draw in the UEFA Champions League clash between the same sides on Wednesday night, is among the substitutes.
