Sebastian Larsson Birmingham v West Ham

Full time: Birmingham record their biggest win of the season but it doesn't matter because a Fulham win sends them and Reading down to the Championship.

93 - GOAL!!! Muamba pulls out a great finish after Nafti picks him out in the centre of the box. Friedel couldn't get anywhere near it.

Birmingham relegated: The final whistle has gone at Fratton Park so Birmingham and Reading are both relegated.

Added time: There will be four minutes of injury time here at St Andrews.

Blues support: Dayle is leading the support for Birmingham with his cries of 'We still love you City.'

89 - GOAL!!! Jerome makes an excellent touch to set himself up on goal, calmly slotting the ball underneath Friedel.

88 - Saves: Taylor makes two excellent saves to prevent Samba and Bentley from grabbing an equaliser for Blackburn.

87 - Substitution for Birmingham: McSheffrey comes on for Kapo. Kapo has had a good game today for Birmingham.

86 - Ambitious: McCarthy tries an ambitious effort from 20 yards, his shot sailing over the bar.

82 - Break: Blackburn are on the break with Bentley who gets inside only for Taylor to punch away his shot. It's end to end action.

81 - Substitution for Blackburn: McCarthy comes on for Warnock. It's a positive move by Hughes.

77 - Substitution for Birmingham: Nafti comes on for Johnson.

Fulham goal: Fulham are 1-0 up away at Portsmouth which leaves Birmingham's survival hopes dented. A shame after the performance they've given so far today. Matt in Jersey has almost conceded that Birmingham are relegated, he's looking forward to this time next season.

Out of steam: Blackburn look deflated now after Birmingham's second goal. But Tord in Norway thinks Blackburn can get a goal on the counter-attack. Gaz from Chester is still hoping for a Blackburn win, it's the only result he needs on his pools coupon to win.

73 - GOAL!!! Jerome makes up for his miss a minute earlier latching on to slot the ball past Friedel. A deserved goal for Birmingham after sustained pressure.

72 - Shocking miss: Murphy crosses the ball in for Jerome but it's a shocking miss for the striker as it comes off his ankle sending it over the bar. That really should have been Birmingham's second goal.

71 - Muamba strike: Muamba tries to break through for Birmingham but his shot goes straight at Friedel. With 20 minutes to go, can the Blues get a winner?

69 - Substitution for Birmingham: Jerome comes on for Forssell.

Birmingham pressure: Birmingham haven't given up, they're pushing forward at every opportunity. Can they get a winner and put themselves back in contention for survival?

68 - Substitutions for Blackburn: Tugay comes on for Pedersen. Dunn comes on for Vogel.

64 - Attack: Emerton pulls the ball back to Roberts but he slips and Birmingham can break.

Santa Cruz support: There's more support flying in for Santa Cruz - Keith in Cheltenham reckons he'll bag a Blackburn winner.

60 - Santa Cruz header: Warnock picks out Santa Cruz in the centre of the box but he sends his header over the bar, he should have done better with that.

Bad news: Reading have their second of the game at Derby. It's not looking good for Birmingham, as it stands they're 19th and relegated.

Winner? Which side will come out on top? Email me at Laura.Slatcher@bskyb.com with your thoughts and predictions. Connor in Nuneaton reckons Roberts may be the next man on the scoresheet.

55 - Kapo effort: Kapo weaves around the Blackburn defence before taking a shot from the edge of the box. A tight angle but the replay shows he did well with that effort.

54 - Crossed in: Bentley sends a dangerous ball in from the right but Roberts can't out jump Taylor to get a shot away.

52 - Booking: Santa Cruz is booked after allegedly diving in the box, it wasn't a penalty but it's a harsh booking for the Blackburn striker.

Silence: The Birmingham fans have been silenced by Pedersen's goal. Yet more predictions for a Blackburn win - Ben in Athens tips Larsson to get the second goal, while Jon in Chorley predicts Santa Cruz to get a couple.

49 - GOAL!!! Pedersen taps the ball home for Blackburn. Taylor makes two good saves from Roberts before the ball finds Pedersen who fires the equaliser home for Blackburn.

48 - High and wide: Larsson lines up a free kick but his effort is disappointing going high and wide of Friedel's goal.

46 - Early chance: Warnock plays in Roberts but Taylor comes out to collect for Birmingham. Blackburn could do with a goal early in the half if they want to keep their Intertoto hopes alive.

Second half: The second half is underway and there's been a few Blackburn fans on with their predictions. Jordan in Preston and Steven in Liverpool are plumping for a Blackburn win, Steven putting his money on Santa Cruz and McCarthy goals.

Half time: Birmingham are 1-0 up thanks to Murphy's first goal for the club. The fans are celebrating but as it stands Birmingham would be relegated.

45 - Blues pressure: Kapo sends a ball into the box which is eventually gathered by Friedel after pressure from Forssell forces the Blackburn keeper into dropping his save.

45 - Kapo skill: Kapo shows some skill before taking a shot from the edge of the box, his effort deflected for another Birmingham corner.

Zarate to score? Matt from Jersey thinks Birmingham will win 2-0 and Zarate will get their second.

42 - Off the line: Taylor takes a risk coming out of his box to attempt to dispossess Emerton. The ball is sent into the box but Kelly is on the line to clear and protect Birmingham's lead.

40 - Yellow: Larsson sees yellow after complaining about Howard Webb's decision to give the visitors a corner when it clearly went for a throw.

Predictions? Does anyone dare to offer their prediction on the outcome of the game? Get in touch at Laura.Slatcher@bskyb.com.

38 - Early ball: Kapo delivers an early ball to Forssell but there's plenty of Blackburn men to clear the danger. Birmingham are beginning to press Blackburn's defence.

37 - Penalty appeal: Birmingham's fans are appealing for a penalty after Muamba is brought down by Reid in the box. The referee rightly waves play on.

35 - Blocked: Forssell links up with Kapo who fires a shot at Friedel, the keeper making a solid save to send it away for a corner.

33 - Yellow: Roberts is shown a yellow for dissent.

32 - GOAL!!! Murphy tries a shot from 20 yards and it hits the back of the net, a bounce doing enough to put off Friedel. The Blackburn keeper will be disappointed with himself after that. That's Murphy's first goal in four years. Could he turn out to be Birmingham's unlikely hero?

30 - Bentley shot: Bentley tries a long range effort from 25 yards but it's easily collected by Taylor.

28 - Intercepted: Larsson crosses a superb ball in towards Kapo but Reid puts his off with a last ditch header. Great build up play by Birmingham.

26 - Yellow: Johnson receives the first yellow of the game bringing down Roberts, handing Blackburn a free kick on the halfway line. The free kick is sent into the box but Bentley is pulled up for offside.

21 - Rovers pressure: Blackburn are dominating the game at the moment, Birmingham are instantly dispossessed as soon as they begin an attack.

20 - Flies over: The ball finds Warnock running in to the box but he connects poorly with his shot and it flies over Taylor's goal.

Goal at Reading: It's not good news for Birmingham - James Harper makes it 1-0 to Reading at Derby.

14 - Corner: Birmingham have the first corner of the game. Larsson sends it over to the far post looking for Jaidi but it's too deep and Blackburn break.

12 - Blues pressure: Murphy makes a strong run down the left only for his cross to go into the side netting. As it stands there is no score still in either the Fulham or Reading games which means Birmingham will be relegated.

10 - Pass astray: Roberts finds his way past Jaidi but his pass towards a waiting Santa Cruz goes wayward.

7 - Taylor stop: Santa Cruz finds himself one-on-one with Taylor but the keeper makes a terrific body save to prevent the shot going goal bound.

4 - Zarate effort: Zarate weaves his way into the box before picking the ball up again sending his shot wide of Friedel's left post. Birmingham are looking very confident.

1 - Treatment: Only 20 seconds gone and already a player is down receiving treatment, Larsson catching Pedersen in an early challenge.

Kick-off: The game is underway at St Andrews with the home fans in buoyant mood. I wonder whether it will be Birmingham's day?

McFadden out: James McFadden has pulled out of the game after aggravating his knee injury in the warm-up. Zarate is the man to take his place - not a bad replacement for Birmingham. Jerome takes up his place on the bench.

Get in touch this afternoon with your thoughts and predictions on the game - email me at Laura.Slatcher@bskyb.com. Throughout the game we'll bring you updates of the games involving fellow relegation contenders Fulham and Reading.

All to play for: It's make or break time for Birmingham as they hope to avoid the drop, but even if they win this afternoon they are still not guaranteed top flight safety. Meanwhile Blackburn will be hoping to snatch six place from Villa and secure their Intertoto position. James McFadden has been out warming up for the Blues but he's struggling with a limp, there may be a late team change here at St Andrews.
