Geovanni: Goal hero
FULL-TIME! Eriksson gets the better of Ferguson with Geovanni's first-half goal the difference as City beat United 1-0 in the Manchester derby. City are still to concede in the Premier League this season and sit top of the table, while United have yet to win as their title defence gets off to a stuttering start.
90 - YELLOW CARD! Tevez is booked after bringing down Corluka in the corner.
90 - Great chance: Giggs' corner goes all the way through the six yard box to Tevez at the back post but he cannot direct his header on target as he hits the side netting. There are four minutes of stoppage time.
87 - United pushing forward: The champions are desperately seeking a late equaliser but Schmeichel has not been tested lately in the City goal.
78 - Cracking effort from Corluka: Corluka fancies his chances from long range and he is not that far away as his strike whistles just over the top of Van der Sar's goal.
77 - Tevez chance: The ball inadvertently falls to Tevez after Richards' intervention but the United striker flashes his effort wide from the corner of the area.
74 - Substitution: City's goalscorer Geovanni comes off and Ball is on in his place.

48 - Bar rattled: Vidic climbs to connect with Giggs' in-swinging corner but sees his close-range header come back off Schmeichel's cross-bar. Scholes mis-cues the follow-up wide.
46 - Restart: We're back underway with United looking to erase a one goal deficit.
HALF-TIME! City lead the Manchester derby at the break with a goal which came out of nothing from Geovanni. Schmeichel has been solid in goal to keep out United, who will wonder how they are trailing after 45 minutes.
44 - Close shave: Nani strikes a fierce drive which takes an awkward bounce six yards out however thankfully for City the attempt is just wide.
39 - Richards aware: Schmeichel spills Giggs' cross but with Scholes closing on the ball Richards gets his keeper out of trouble and clears the danger.
35 - YELLOW CARD! Brown is booked for kicking the ball away after conceding a foul in a forward position.
32 - GOAL! Completely against the run of play City take the lead through Geovanni. The Brazilian tries his luck from 25 yards and it pays off as the ball skips off Vidic's leg and curls into the bottom corner past Van der Sar's outstretched hand.
30 - City shot: Johnson fires in the first shot for City, although Van der Sar's goal was not threatened as the midfielder's effort sailed high over from 30 yards.
24 - Evra wayward: Nani's delightful back-flick plays in Evra but the left-back is not composed enough in front of goal as he shanks his shot wide under pressure from Corluka.
20 - Defensive stops: Tevez is denied twice by City's central defenders as Dunne hooks away a header and then Richards produces an excellent challenge to halt the Argentine's burst towards goal.
17 - United on top: United are bossing the possession but so far City are standing firm at the back. Nani fires in a left-footed shot from 20 yards which Schmeichel is comfortably down to gather.
9 - Substitution: Bojinov is forced off early through injury and Mpenza takes his place up front.
6 - Schmeichel saves City: Tevez, Scholes and Nani link-up neatly on the edge of City's box resulting in the Portuguese finding room to shoot inside the City area. Schmeichel is up to the task, though, as he first saves with a strong hand and then claims Nani's follow-up header.
