74 - Moore effort: Moore has the ball in the back of the net, but he has been denied for pulling the shirt of Corluka as he meets the cross and replays show he prodded the ball in with his arm.

72 - Maloney chance: The Villa substitute produces a heavy first touch when well placed in the City 18 yard area and as he races top the dead ball line he looks like he could have been brought down by Schmeichel, but the referee gives a goal kick.

27 - Laursen header: The defender meets a corner but heads just wide of the far post. Villa are well on top.

25 - Great chance: Carew flicks on a long ball and Agbonlahor shows his pace to reach the delivery, but a combination of the bodies of Schmeichel and Richards some how keep Villa at bay.

10 - City shot: Vedran Corluka is allowed to travel a long way and decides to have a go from 30 yards but the ball drifts wide and Scott Carson is untroubled.

7 - Villa on top: The visitors have started the better and John Carew has a good chance but his punt towards goal strikes his team-mate Luke Moore.
