88 - Sub: Cole is replaced by Camara.

87 - Awesome strike: A corner falls to Tugay on the edge of the area, and he volleys powerfully at goal. Green superbly denies the midfielder.

84 - Controversy: Ooijer goes down injured but West Ham play on. Cole bursts through and lays a ball into Ashton but he blazes over.

77 - Must score: Brilliant ball from Tugay fins Santa Cruz. His first touch is superb but he then wildly thrashes over.

75 - Just wide: A deep cross from Pedersen is headed goalwards by Santa Cruz but hs effort lands just wide. Meanwhile, Spector comes on for Solano, and Roberts replaces Pedersen.

73 - Boa Morte denied: Good football from West Ham sees the ball fall to Boa Morte at the back post. He smashes at goal but Friedel does well to parry clear.

69 - Rovers sub: Reid comes on for Dunn.

68 - Booked: Cole is given a yellow card for sliding in late on Samba.

67 - Wide: Pedersen is slipped through but he is on his weaker right foot and his shot zooms wide. He really needed to strike across goal.

64 - Flashed: Ashton speeds down the left and then hits a fantastic ball across the face of Friedel's goal. However, no one is there to meet his brilliant delivery.

57 - Towering: A gigantic header from Samba forces Green into an excellent low save. The keeper's parry almost falls to Ooijer, but the defender chooses not to hit it with his left foot and the attack is cleared.

52 - GOAL!!! Ashton strikes for West Ham! McCartney latches onto Solano's pass to cut a cross back into the Blackburn penalty area. Ashton takes up a clever position on the edge of the six-yard box to tap home.

51 - Sloppy: Both sides are attempting to get the ball forward far too quickly, meaning moves are breaking down almost instantly. It is a rather scrappy and disjointed affair at the moment.

Second half: The second half gets underway with both manages making changes. Savage comes on for Mokoena, while Ashton replaces Etherington (groin trouble).

HALF TIME: The first half comes to an end, and it was a 45 minutes of long-range efforts - all of which just dropped wide or over. Hopefully we will see some more penetration in the second half.

41 - Side-netting: Pedersen is presented with a decent opportunity to test Green, and that he does. The winger strikes a left-footed effort at goal and Green parries wide for a corner.

40 - Waste: Solano finds himself in plenty of space after Warnock misjudges a long ball. He powers at goal hoping someone makes a run into the six-yard area, but Cole gives him little to aim at and the move breaks down.

34 - Just wide: Parker dribbles towards the edge of the Blackburn penalty, ways up his options, and smashes at goal. His shot dips wildly and drops just wide of Friedel's right post.

26 - Wordy update: Little happening in terms of chances. However, both sides are playing some decent football. Blackburn are edging it at present and are willing to shoot from distance whenever the invitation arises.

19 - Promising West Ham build well and the ball is eventually worked out to McCartney. The left-back delivers an excellent cross into the six-yard box but Friedel claims well.

16 - Tugay dipper: A fantastic hit from Tugay leaves Green with no chance, but at the last moment his effort swerves just wide.

13 - Yellow: Boa Morte skins Ooijer, and the defender cuts him down with a tackle - he goes into the book.

8 - Late: Mokoena catches Parker with a sliding challenge. There was no malice in Mokoena's challenge and referee Alan Wiley uses his common sense by not booking the midfielder.

5 - Dunn effort: Blackburn break well and Dunn is invited to shoot. He hits a wicked, swerving effort towards the top corner, but the ball skims the bar.
