90 + 2 - ALL OVER: The game comes to an end as Liverpool fire an impressive warning shot to their Premier League title rivals.
90 - Added time: There will be two minutes added time.
87 - Off the line: Benayoun sets up Babel but Meite clears off the line.
86 - GOAL!!! Gerrard feeds Kuyt whose shot across goal is poorly parried by Jaaskelainen to allow Babel the simple task of tapping home.
79 - No Alonso: Gerrard attempts to mimic his absent team-mate Alonso by scoring from inside his own half but his effort goes well wide.
78 - Offside: Davies thinks he has a chance when he collects a cross with time and space in the box but he is harshly called offside.
78 - Anything goes: Riise collects a loose pass and attempts to drive from 35 yards which flies over the bar.
77 - Training exercise: The game resembles a defence versus attack drill for Liverpool.
76 - Substitution: Torres leaves the fray to a standing ovation and Dirk Kuyt comes on.
75 - All quiet: Liverpool have taken their foot of the gas and Bolton are offering little threat.
70 - Clever: Gerrard receives the ball but prods on again to Leiva Lucas who has his effort blocked.
69 - Booking: Michalik sees a yellow for bringing down Babel. It looks as though Riise is going to set up Gerrard.
66 - Substitution: Kewell, who has had a good game, is replaced with Ryan Babel.
65 - Substitution: Diouf makes way for Stelios Giannakopoulos.
64 - End to end: Diouf wastes a good headed chance, but Liverpool break as Torres curls over the bar after beating the entire Bolton defence.
63 - Brave: From the resulting kick Riise unleashes a trademark rocket which Gavin McCann dives in the way of.
62 - Free-kick: Campo gives the ball away and hauls Benayoun down dead centre on the edge of the box.
61- First test: Reina keeps himself busy as he comfortably collects a daisy cutter from Anelka.
60 - Too easy: Liverpool are playing keep ball at the minute and this could get embarrassing for Bolton.
56 - GOAL!!! Gerrard must have given Liverpool the points as he slots into the bottom left hand corner from the spot to score his fifth goal in as many games.
56 - PENALTY: Meite hauls down Crouch in the box and a peanlty is awarded.
55 - Sums it up: Bolton look to attack, but Anelka - who is having an afternoon to match the miserable weather - is adjudged to have handled.
52 - Substitution: Carragher, who has been struggling since his collision with Reina, makes way for Jack Hobbs. Apparently Carragher has a knock, this is bad news for Liverpool who are already without Agger.
51 - Great save: Gerrard strides past the Bolton defence and looks set to roll into the bottom corner, but Jaaskelainen saves brilliantly with his feet.
49 - Almost in: Gerrard, who is definitely back to his best, plays another glorious ball to Benayoun, but the Israeli dawdles on the ball and Bolton get back to defend.
47 - Almost three: Crouch, who has yet to score a Premier League goal this season, loses Michalik but heads narrowly wide.
46 - We're back: Bolton get the second 45 minutes under way. Will Bolton be able to find a way back in to the game or will their miserable Anfield record continue?
45 + 1 - HALF-TIME: Liverpool end the half comfortably in front, but Anelka will be rueing his shocking miss.
45 - Added time: There will be one minute added time.
45 - GOAL!!! Gerrard plays a stunning 60-yard pass down the inside right channel to feed Torres who out paces the Bolton defence and draw in Jaaskelainen before dinking over the Bolton keeper for Liverpool's second.
40 - Too many cooks: Liverpool's two most dangerous aerial threats, Crouch and Hyypia, both go for the same ball at a corner and end up in each other's way.
36 - Lucky escape: Jamie Carragher and Jose Reina collide in comedy style and both end up on the deck. With the goal gapping and no other player in the 18-yard area Nicolas Anelka, who had a loan spell with Liverpool, seizes the free ball and somehow manages to miss the open goal completely. Maybe he still has a place in his heart for the Reds?
35 - Commentator's curse: Perhaps the praise of Kewell was a little premature as with 10 minutes to go before the interval the Reds winger attempts a pass and punts it straight out of play.
34 - So close: Torres collects a loose pass from Ricardo Gardner and burst past Michalik, but the Spanish striker drags his efforts just wide of the far post.
31 - Lovely stuff: Kewell and Crouch exchange back heal flicks. The move breaks down, but Kewell looks in good shape. There is no doubting the Australian's ability and his first touch is impeccable, it will remain to be seen if he can stay fit this season.
29 - Dominant: Kewell attempts an optimistic drive from range. Liverpool are well on top and the 1-0 lead is the least they deserve, but it does not seem like it will be long before another goal.
27 - Reds break: However, Liverpool break and Torres cross is put behind for a corner. From the resulting kick Crouch heads narrowly over the bar.
26 - Struggle to clear: Liverpool have difficulty clearing their lines as Bolton show their strengths at dead-ball situations.
25 - Old battle: Hyypia and Bolton forward Kevin Davies, who have enjoyed many tussles over the years, are having a good battle as Bolton win a corner.
22 - Trademark Bolton: The trotters have not threatened since Liverpool's goal, but they look far more comfortable having reverted to their style under former manager Sam Allardyce since the arrival of new boss Gary Megson.
19 - On song: Liverpool are flying forward now and Diouf gives away another dangerous free-kick which Gerrard whips into the area but Bolton clear.
17 - GOAL!!! Gerrard curls a free-kick into the danger area and Sami Hyypia beats Meite to the ball to guide the ball into the back of the net with his head to give Liverpool a deserved lead.
13 - Curling Crouch: The lofty forward has a pop from 20 yards after good work from Fernando Torres, but shots from outside the area are not exactly Crouch's strong point and Jaskelainen comfortably saves.
10 - Shocking challenge: Diouf is lucky to escape a red card when he goes over the top of the ball and puts his studs into the shin or Arbeloa. The Bolton forward only receives a yellow card.
9 - Bolton chance: Abdoulaye Meite has a headed chance from the corner but it drifts narrowly wide of the far post.
8 - Boo boys: Anfield old boy Diouf is getting his usual treatment from the Liverpool faithful as he prepares to take a corner.
4 - Great chance: Yossi Benayoun rounds Jussi Jaskelainen and sets up Crouch for a sitter, but Lubomir Michalik clears of the line. Benayoun and Harry Kewell have started very brightly.
3 - Early scare: Alvaro Arbeloa hesitates while defending and El Hadji Diouf has a chance, but does not shoot.
2 - On the front foot: Liverpool are attacking from the start as Steven Gerrard plays a raking ball to pick out John Arne Riise on the left.
Kick-off: Liverpool, who are attacking the Kop end, get the game going. Bolton have not won at Anfield in the league for almost 54 years.
Team news: Peter Crouch gets a rare start for Liverpool, while Xabi Alonso and Daniel Agger are still missing due to injury. Ivan Campo and Gary Speed start for Bolton.
