58min Fulham corner: Volz earns his side a corner which Murphy takes and Dejan Stefanovic connects with, however Phillips is equal to the header and saves comfortably

SECOND HALF: Both sides are unchanged as the second half gets underway, could Fulham join the host of other Premier League clubs dumped out of the club in the third round?

HALF-TIME: Fulham go into the half the better side after finishing on a high when Healy headed home in the 40th minute to cancel out Danny Coles' opener, 1-1

45min Pressure: Phillips is more under pressure by the minute and saves a stinging effort from Smertin

43min Volz effort: Moritz Volz sends a grass cutter wide of the post and Fulham are beginning to get a hold of the game with Rovers failing to trouble Niemi since the opener

42min Fulham chance: After a scramble in the box from a Danny Murphy freekick, Phillips saves Rovers from going 2-1 down

12min Dempsey chance: The American has another chance to equalise but his backpost header is saved by Steve Phillips

10min Disallowed goal: Bouazza curls a corner into the near post and after the loose ball gets lofted into the box Clint Dempsey looks to have equalised with a header but the whistle went beforehand for a foul

7min Fulham attack: Fulham are desperately trying to turn on the pressure in the early stages after being stunned with Rovers' lead. Simon Davies is pressing well to conjure up an early equaliser

3min ROVERS GOAL!!! Danny Coles places a fantastic curled effort into the bottom corner past Niemi as the perfect start for Trollope's men

Bristol Rovers team news: Rovers, last season's Wembley winners of the League Two promotion play-offs final, are without suspended captain Stuart Campbell, as well as injured pair Byron Anthony and Ryan Green. Striker Sean Rigg is only fit enough for a place on the bench but the visitors, managed by former Fulham midfielder Paul Trollope, has the backing of an estimated 7,000 fans who have filled one end of Craven Cottage.

Fulham team news: Fulham manager Roy Hodgson fields a full-strength side and recalls Russia international Alexei Smertin for only his second start in 13 games in place of Steven Davis, and Northern Ireland striker David Healy for £6million striker Diomansy Kamara who doesn't even make the substitutes' bench.
