Burley: First game

Burley's views to follow Keep watching the Scotland home page for Burley's views of the game.

FULL-TIME The game ends 1-1, a good result for Scotland, who got more into the game and could have sneaked a win, creating more chances in the second-half than Croatia. George Burley will be pleased with what he saw. Thank you for all your views - sorry for those I couldn't post up on the net.

90 (+2) mins - Scotland corner Scotland win a corner and McManus heads just wide when under great pressure. Good effort to try and win the game.

More subs Alexander on for Darren Fletcher, Simic on for injured Corluka.

81 mins - Croatia press Croatia press and get two corners but Scotland clear.

More views Rob Van Groll says: "I'm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA and I'm upset that I can't see the game on TV, but I'm keeping track on the net hoping that Scotland will pull out a win. If only I could actually see what's happening... I'm sure Gordon's saves are brilliant as usual." They are Rob.

Dave Tough says: "Thanks for the commentary on what looked like it was going to be one of those uh-oh nights for Scotland but now looks like it might be a glory night after all! I'm in France - not as warm as some of the other guys - but pleased to see that France are currently leading England at half time :-)"

79 mins - Boyd half-chance Boyd tries to get onto a low cross and catches Corluka on the head. He was entitled to go for the ball and Corluka is back on his feet, although he must be seeing stars.

More views Cameron Taylor says: "In Mallorca right now and i am glued to the computer like everyone else! Really hope that Scotland get the win or even the draw tonight ! Be even better if England lose !"

Craig McRobert says: "Thoroughly enjoying the commentary, We are watching the Portugal vs Greece game on the tv here in Johannesburg, South Africa. Two Fantastic freekicks from Karagounis that are worthy of a 100th cap for England...if you catch my drift. Anyways onto the lads in Hampden...it is a real pleasure to see a fighting, tough to beat Scotland team. Its been a long time coming. The Lion Rampant is rampaging." Thanks for your views.

Another sub Knezevic on for Robert Kovac.

More views I've received more views are here are a selection. Adam Hurt says: "Typical Miller - can score for Scotland but not for us Derby fans."

Charles McLaren says: "On Vancouver Island (weather has been a bit of everything today) but it looks like Scotland seem to be weathering the storm. Why is Boyd on the bench? Surely he should be playing and not Fletcher. Bad move by Burley. Boyd needs to get away from Rangers and start playing every game." You will be pleased Charles, Boyd has just come on for Maloney and the crowd seem happy he is now playing.

70 mins - Anderson on Anderson on for Caldwell.

67 mins - Gordon save Gordon makes a great right-handed save from Budan on the left, Croatia then have two corners but Scotland clear.

Substitutions: There have been several substitutions: For Scotland, McEveley on for Naysmith; Rae on for Fletcher; Teale on for Brown. For Croatia, Budan on for Olic; Klasnic on for Petric; Vukojevic on for Niko Kovac and Leko on for Srna.

Croatia takes and Kranjcar's shot is deflected towards goal but Gordon does very well to save and then Caldwell follows up to clear the ball in front. Good defending.

Craig's view Craig from Montrose says: "I'm impressed so far, tactics are working after the initial bad patch and Hutton is looking just as impressive as the Italy game. He's gonna be a Scottish legend." I agree with you Craig, he is playing very well.

50 mins - Scotland corner Miller sends in a fantastic header after getting half-ayard on the near post but Pranjic clears off the line. Unlucky!
