Full-time: No goals in the first leg of the play-off semi-final between Southend and Doncaster but it was an entertaining game at Roots Hall and a draw was probably a fair result, leaving the tie finely-poised for the return leg at the Keepmoat Stadium next Friday.
94 mins - Stoppage time: Southend fail to ask any further questions of the Donny defence though and Rovers are relieved to see out the four minutes of stoppage time having to face little threat.
91 mins - Final switch for Donny as they bring on Gareth Taylor for James Coppinger to wind down the clock.
90 mins - Pressure: The Shrimpers keep the pressure on 10-man Doncaster with Mulgrew curling in a cross from the left but Barnard heads over from eight yards with two team-mates perhaps better placed behind him.
89 mins - Vicious cross from Nicky Bailey after Southend have a right-wing corner cleared and it's inadvertently glanced clear by Southend defender Barrett at the far post.
88 mins - Second change for Donny sees Mark McCammon replace Jason Price as the home crowd chant "you dirty Northern b******s!"
87 mins - Red card: Heffernan is flagged offside and as he walks back into position he inexplicably head-butts Mulgrew and is rightly shown a straight red card. Stupidity from Heffernan, who will now miss the second leg at the Keepmoat.
86 mins - Danger: Revell's outswinging cross from the right causes a moment of panic in the Donny box before it's hacked clear.
84 mins - Brief opening for Barnard in the right channel but he has to check back and although he curls his effort just inside the far post, it's comfortbaly taken by Sullivan.
83 mins - Weak: Nicky Bailey has a sight of goal but drags his 20-yard effort wide.
82 mins - Finely-poised: Southend will be eager to make home advantage count but Doncaster have been well on top during the second half.
81 mins - Fresh legs: Doncaster make their first change with top scorer James Hayter coming on for Lewis Guy.
80 mins - Stretched: Green releases Roberts over on the Donny left and Price fails to direct his deep cross goalwards.
78 mins - Tester: Southend respond with Walker firing straight at Sullivan from 20 yards.
76 mins - Great skill by Price almost breaks the deadlock. Sullivan punts a free-kick forward, Price chests it down just outside the box and volleys goalwards on the turn, but Flahavan is alert to the danger and saves low to his right.
73 mins - Comfortable: Coppinger puts the ball into the box but Flahavan gathers the cross.
71 mins - Woeful: Mulgrew brings down Guy on the Donny right and it's little surprise to see the free-kick float into Flahavan's arms. Perhaps Donny might want to let someone else have a go at a free-kick, not sure Stock's hit a decent one yet!
69 mins - Poor: Hird gives away a free-kick just outside the right side of the Donny box but it's a poor delivery again and Rovers clear the danger.
67 mins - On top: Donny look destined to open the scoring as this time Heffernan has a great chance, volleying over from 12 yards under Francis' challenge after Green clipped the ball into the box.
66 mins - Blocked: The corner is cleared but Matt Mills shows good footwork to skip round McCormack and lay off for Price on the right side of the box, but this time he is denied by Adam Barrett's block.
65 mins - Best chance yet and it falls to Doncaster. Stock's slick through-ball splits the home defence and puts Price clean through. Price steadies himself before trying to steer the ball inside the far post but Flahavan spreads himself well to make the save.
62 mins - First substitution sees Southend replace Tommy Black with Alex Revell on the right of midfield.
60 mins - Naughty: Price is given a telling off after commiting two fouls in quick succession. Again no shown of the yellow card though from the lenient referee.
58 mins - Snatched: Heffernan drags a right-footed effort wide from 20 yards after neat play between Green and Guy found the Donny striker in space.
57 mins - Lovely through-ball by Francis almost puts Barnard through but O'Connor recovers well to snuff out the Southend striker.
55 mins - Fortunate: Gower also escapes a booking after a late challenge on Stock.
52 mins - Ouch! McCormack receives treatment after being caught by a firm tackle by Stock, although the referee chooses not to book the Rovers skipper.
49 mins - Dangerous: Tommy Black gives away a free-kick in a dangerous position just outside the left side of the Southend box. Stock floats in the free-kick and Flahavan punches the ball clear at the far post.
47 mins - Close: Walker curls an effort just past the far post for the Shrimpers from the edge of the box.
Restart: Southend get the second half started looking to cash in on home advantage.
Half-time: A hard-fought first half at Roots Hall has just about been edged by Southend, despite Doncaster playing some decent football.
47 mins - Stoppage time: Gower fires well wide as the clock winds down and the half-time whistle goes.
46 mins - Good response from Southend as Gower beats his man down the left and crosses for Francis charging in at the far post, and although the Shrimpers' full-back makes a firm connection, he side-foots too close to Sullivan.
45 mins - Another corner for Donny, which Guy plays short for O'Connor, and although the cross is cleared, Green's deflected effort tests Flahavan.
44 mins - Wasted: Heffernan wins Doncaster their first corner on the right, but Stock fails to even beat the first man.
43 mins - Sloppy: Black wins the ball back off Coppinger deep on the Southend right before cutting into the box and laying off for Barnard, whose 12-yard strike is deflected wide. The corner is easily dealt with.
42 mins - Poor delivery again as O'Connor fails to get the ball in from the right after more good football from the visitors.
41 mins - Sweeping left-wing cross from Mulgrew is well-taken by Sullivan.
40 mins - Evenly-matched contest so far although Southend are finishing the half on top. Can the hosts get their noses in front before the break?
39 mins - First corner of the game for Southend and Price heads clear for Donny.
37 mins - Well watched: Southend play a short free-kick on the left and hit the ball towards the far post and although Clarke's looping header floats across the goalmouth, Sullivan does well to catch while falling backwards.
36 mins - Blocked: Southend full-back Simon Francis works the ball back into the box on the right and Walker's close-range effort is blocked by Hird from Barnard's lay-off.
35 mins - Delightful long-ball by Gower releases McCormack down the left and his cross is headed clear by Roberts at the far post.
32 mins - Ticking off for Mills and Walker from the referee after a bit of handbags off the ball.
29 mins - Treatment: Mills receives treatment as the Donny defender clattered into a post after that header, while midfielder Paul Green has to go off with a cut eye after being caught by Nicky Bailey's elbow.
28 mins - So close: Black concedes a free-kick on the Donny left after a sliding tackle on Guy and Roberts delivers into the six-yard box, where Matt Mills gets behind Peter Clarke and glances a header narrowly wide.
25 mins - Easy: Price also tries his luck from distance for Donny but it's comfortably taken by Flahavan.
24 mins - Wide: Barnard fires wide from 20 yards under a firm challenge from Sam Hird.
23 mins - Well held by Flahavan from O'Connor's testing right-wing cross.
22 mins - Knock-down by Alan McCormack from Mulgrew's deep free-kick goes just beyond Barnard and through to Sullivan.
20 mins - Pressure: The Shrimpers keep the pressure on, with Walker squaring for Mark Gower, who cuts in from the left and tests Sullivan with a low 20-yard strike. The Donny keeper does well to hold on.
19 mins - Break: Southend break down the right but Black's cross is also overhit and it drifts out at the far post.
17 mins - Fizz: Guy cuts in from the Donny right and almost finds Heffernan before Coppinger latches onto the loose ball and fizzes a 25-yard strike narrowly wide.
15 mins - Reply: Southend enjoy some possession and James Walker fires well wide from 20 yards after being allowed to run at the Donny defence.
13 mins - Great build-up play by Donny down the right results in Paul Heffernan chesting down for Lewis Guy, whose cut-back is laid off by Jason Price for James Coppinger to force a comfortable save by Darryl Flahavan from a wide angle.
10 mins - Lively start by both sides as they have begun at a high tempo, despite taking time to find their range with a few passes overhit.
8 mins - Punch: Veteran Rovers keeper Neil Sullivan does well to punch out a deep free-kick by Charlie Mulgrew.
6 mins - Neat play by Doncaster releases full-back James O'Connor down the right, his cross is cleared as far as Brian Stock, whose 20-yard drive is blocked.
3 mins - Tackle: Winger Tommy Black gets to the byline on the Southend right, although he is outmuscled by Doncaster left-back Gareth Roberts, who manages not to concede a corner.
2 mins - Burst: Southend striker Lee Barnard bursts down the right but Doncaster clear the danger.
1 min - Early free-kick for Doncaster but Brian Stock hits it over the danger zone and out for a goal-kick.
Kick-off: Visitors Doncaster get things underway at Roots Hall.
Team news: Southend welcome in-form striker Lee Barnard back into the starting line-up after a calf strain. Manager Steve Tilson has also brought back midfield trio Nicky Bailey, Tommy Black and Mark Gower.
Doncaster have had midfielder Ritchie Wellens ruled out through injury after missing out on automatic promotion at Cheltenham last week. Lewis Guy comes in while Paul Heffernan and Jason Price have been preferred up front ahead of Mark McCammon and Gareth Taylor.
Southend team: Flahavan; Francis, Clarke, Barrett, Mulgrew; Black, Bailey, McCormack, Gower; Walker, Barnard. Subs: Collis, MacDonald, Revell, Robson-Kanu, Moussa.
Doncaster team: Sullivan; O'Connor, Hird, Mills, Gareth Roberts; Guy, Green, Stock, Coppinger; Heffernan, Price. Subs: Lee, Taylor, Hayter, Woods, McCammon.
