Stockport

Full-time Stockport are promoted to League One after triumping over North West rivals Rochdale. A terrific game, thank you all for your comments. Stay with skysports.com for post-match reaction and player ratings.

Added time: Three minutes of injury-time are to be played.

89 - Edgy: The tension is unbearable here. Stockport are continuing to play their passing game but Rochdale are chasing everything in an attempt to regain possession.

85 - Just five minutes remaining here. Rochdale are pumping the ball forward but Stockport are just about hanging on.

81 - Atmosphere: Cracking stuff here with both sets of fans willing their sides on. Such contrasting emotions.

77 - GOAL!!! Rochdale pull one back! Adam Rundle takes advantage of a weak defensive header to lash home expertly. Surely too little, too late?

75 - Change: Gleeson is replaced by McSweeney.

73 - Sub: Buckley is on for D'Laryea.

71 - Stinger: Rose curls an free-kick at goal forcing Lee to parry. Rowe then powers at goal and flashes a shot into the side-netting.

70 - Booking: Stanton is yellow-carded for a wild and late challenge.

67 - GOAL!!! Stockport make it 3-1! Dickinson smashes home as the impressive Pilkington slips him in from the right. Is that curtains for Rochdale?

Funny looks: Lee James is glued to his laptop screen in a hotel lobby in the Dominican Republic. Staff are apparently casting him bewildered looks as he jumps up and down from his seat, cheering along his beloved County .

61 - Penalty shout: Stockport make half-hearted appeals for a penalty as Pilkington goes down in the box. Nothing doing from the ref.

60 - Daisy cutter: Jones embarks on an encouraging run at the heart of Stockport's defence before winding up a strike at goal. His effort skims off the surface and zooms just wide of Logan's right-hand post.

57 - Rochdale sub: Le Fondre is replaced by Howe.

55 - In charge: Stockport are battling to put this game to bed as they push for a third.

Dream come true: David Bancroft, who has supported Stockport since his early years, is brimming with excitement as he tunes in from USA.

49 - GOAL!!! Stockport are in front! Pilkington is the man on target with a terrific header. He adjusted excellently to meet Rose's cross and head in off the bar.

Debate: Referee Stuart Attwell has confirmed to Sky Sports that the equaliser stands as an own goal. Not a surprise really as Stanton definitely diverted the ball away from the reach of his keeper.

Underway: Rochdale kick-off the second period.

Change: Higginbotham is replaced by Muirhead.

Half-time: Stockport 1 Rochdale 1 at the interval - a tale of two set-pieces. Stockport have impressed me with some excellent passing, but Rochdale have restricted the space well. I'm off to sift through your emails before the second period gets underway.

Added time: Two minutes of first-half injury-time will be played.

42 - Delicately poised: The game really could go either way at the moment with both sides attacking with purpose, pushing for the advantage before the break.

39 - Chance: Dickinson receives the ball in a great position on the right from the surging Pilkington but his touch desperately lets him down and Rochdale clear.

34 - GOAL!!! Stockport equalise! An own goal from Stanton as Gannon's men work a clever short corner with Tommy Rowe delivering a cross into a dangerous area. The ball appeared to clip Stanton's hands to wrong-foot keeper Lee.

30 - Top notch: Stockport almost draw level as Pilkington hits a marvellous free-kick which swerves just away from goal at the last minute.

Advantage Dale: So for all Stockport's early possession, it is Keith Hill's side that leads. In other news, having just had a good look at the goal, keeper Logan might have been held back as he went to claim. I am not sure he would have got there, but there seemed to be a tug on his arm.

23 - Goal!!! Rochdale score! A terrific whipped corner from Higginbotham is met by McArdle, who can't miss from just a yard out as he thumps a header into the net.

23 - Side-netting: Dagnall turns well and strikes with intent. His shot catches a deflection and zips wide for a corner.

22 - Spillage: Logan races off his line to claim a flick-on but spills his effort as he clatters into an opponent. Fortunately, for the Stockport shot-stopper, the ball falls in no-mans land.

21 - Scuffed: Dickinson rolls his man really well but his effort is low and well wide.

20 - Wholehearted: There is plenty of commitment on show, but little penetration at present. Neither keeper has been forced into a save of note.

'Loser tag': Ian Moran, emailing in from South Africa, is convinced Keith Hill's men will come up trumps today and put an end to the longest run in the bottom division of English football.

15 - Position: Rochdale work the ball out to the right flank and deliver high into the box. Logan is there, though, mopping up with ease.

12 - Pattern: Stockport continue to enjoy decent possession but Rochdale are not allowing their opponents any space in behind their backline.

9 - Tidy: The Hatters are not afraid to play their way out of defence as they string together a number of easy-on-the-eye passes.

7 - Growing: It is Stockport that have settled the better, passing the ball around neatly on the slick surface. They cleverly work a quick free-kick but the move peters out.

Neutral: Oldham supporter Stephen Jackson feels Stockport will nick today's clash 2-1. Meanwhile, Douglas Watson - tuning in from baking hot Corfu (jealous) - is just hoping for a cracking contest.

3 - Scrappy: With both sides edgy, it is all a little fragmented at the moment.

1 - Comfortable: Goalkeeper Logan gets his first touch as he assuredly claims a cross from the left.

Kick-off: Stockport get the game underway. Here we go, folks...

A fresh-faced damsel rings out God Save the Queen as the supporters unite - arms stretched in the air, signing their hearts out.

The players are pelted with rain as they march out onto the Wembley turf. It's a grey and windy day in North-West London, but that will do little to dampen the roar of the travelling support - who await the national anthem.

Supping: David Land, a Stockport fan, is frantically chewing on his nails while knocking back his seventh cuppa of the day in a bid to ease his jittery nerves. Rochdale fan Peter Downs, however, is a sea of calm, and sure of a 3-0 success for Keith Hill's men.

Good afternoon to you all on this Bank Holiday Monday. So, how are you? A wee bit anxious as kick-off draws nearer? This League Two play-off final looks too close to call, but I am sure you all have your inklings on which side might edge the encounter.
