FT: Bolton 1 Arsenal 3

Full Time90+3 The final whistle goes and Arsenal have come from behind to win this one with reasonable comfort. There was a tricky period halfway through the second half when the home side threatened to come back into it, but Denilson wrapped things up for the Gunners who go top of the league.

90+2 The players are just going through the motions now as the clock runs down. Djourou puts in a good challenge on Gardner to cut out any potential danger from the forward.

90+1 There will be three added minutes, but surely the three points are headed back to north London.

90 Walcott attempts a cheeky first touch to put him past two defenders, but it's not quite tight enough and Steinsson mops up for Bolton.

88 Fantastic save from Jaaskelainen as a through-ball sets up Walcott, who turns to shoot with his right foot. It's curling towards the far post but Jaaskelainen turns it round with his left hand.

Goal87 GOAL: That's the ball game, and it's Denilson who's finished it off. Arsenal turn defence into attack with a swift counter as Walcott puts Adebayor into space on the right, and he picks out Denilson with a low cross to the far post.

Substitution85 Superb chance for Bolton as Davies puts in a high, drifting cross to the far post which is flapped at by Almunia. The ball drops to Vaz Te but he hits his shot straight at Almunia, who was still lying on the ground.

Substitution84 Arsenal make a change, taking off Eboue and bringing on Aaron Ramsey.

83 Va Te is straight into the action, sprinting down the right wing and putting in an accurate cross which results in a corner. That's headed over the bar by Steinsson.

Substitution82 Bolton make their final substitution as Muamba makes way for Ricardo Vaz Te.

81 Walcott runs at a few Bolton players and comes through with the ball. Arsenal work the ball to Fabregas on the edge of the area, but his shot is high and wide.

80 Having weathered a bit of a Bolton storm, Arsenal are taking control once more as they work the ball around and earn themselves numerous corners.

78 Djourou protects the ball well and earns a free-kick on the right-hand side for Arsenal. The delivery is half-cleared and comes out to Walcott on the right, but his low cross finds no-one at the far post.

77 Riga sends a cross to the far post, but Sagna heads clear under pressure from Davies.

Yellow Card76 Song collects Arsenal's first card of the afternoon for an attempted tackle on Davies. The free-kick is swung into the box, but is easily cleared by Toure.

75 Bolton are increasingly resorting to long, high balls for Davies, but on this occasion he is deemed to have fouled Sagna.

Substitution73 Bendtner took a bit of a knock a moment ago and makes way for Theo Walcott, although that substitution looked on the cards even before Bendtner went down clutching his ankle.

72 A nice piece of footwork from Riga gets him to the byline, but his chip towards the far post is collected by Almunia.

71 Muamba tries to find Riga with a chip into the penalty area, but Toure comes across to clear. The resulting throw-in is again poorly dealt with by Arsenal, but the referee spots an infringement and the visitors have a free-kick.

70 Sagna loses the ball to Muamba and Bolton break forward, but Samuel fails to collect the ball as he storms into the Arsenal area.

69 Denilson and Adebayor combine in an attempt to put the former through on goal, but Steinsson is aware and cuts out the attack.

68 Arsene Wenger looks nervous over on the touchline and well he might. His side seem to be drawing Bolton onto them rather than taking the game by the scruff of their necks.

67 Arsenal get down the other end and win a corner, which is headed out of the penalty box. Sagna runs onto the loose ball and takes a crack, but shoots wide of the target.

65 Samuel puts in a good cross to the back post, and Sagna is forced to head out for a throw-in. Arsenal fail to clear the ball a couple of times as it bobbles around, but eventually Eboue wins a free-kick to relieve the pressure.

64 That corner leads to two more as Arsenal continue to look nervy in their defence of set pieces. Finally Almunia catches one and the visitors can relax a bit.

Yellow Card63 Good effort from Riga, who tries to curl one past Almunia from just outside the area. The Arsenal keeper gets down to make a good save, but Bolton have a corner.

Yellow Card62 Yellow card for Muamba, who puts in a late lunge to bring down Adebayor as the Arsenal striker threatened to race in behind the Bolton defence.

Substitution61 Another change for the home side as Joey O'Brien comes off and Gavin McCann is introduced.

60 Steinsson cuts in from the right and tries to find the advancing Riga, but Almunia dives at the substitute's feet to cut out the danger.

59 Joey O'Brien's long-range effort fails to trouble Almunia, who scuttles across his goal before leaving the ball to go out for a goalkick.

58 Eboue puts in a cross from the right and finds Adebayor, but he puts a weak header wide of the target.

57 Arsenal swing a free-kick into the box from the left-hand side, but Andy O'Brien wins the header for Bolton.

Substitution56 Bolton make their first substitution as Smolarek is replaced by Riga Mustapha.

55 Arsenal are still just looking to keep the ball and ease the tempo off rather than going in search of the goal which would surely kill the game off.

54 The Bolton fans have been lifted by their side's recent threats and are getting right behind their side. A late tap-tackle from Steinsson on Fabregas earns Arsenal a free-kick.

53 A long ball forward almost finds Bendtner, but Jaaskelainen comes out to intercept.

51 Dangerous stuff from Bolton as Almunia flaps at a cross from the left and Gallas heads half-clear. Another cross comes in from the left but this time Almunia claims it.

50 Denilson brings down Samuel to gift Bolton a free-kick in a dangerous area. It's chipped into the box and Arsenal clear only to the edge of the area, but Gardner's shot from there is straight at the grateful Almunia.

49 Steinsson makes a run down the right for Bolton but can't get his low cross into the box as he slides off the playing field.

48 A brilliant move from Arsenal brings a superb one-handed save out of Jaaskelainen, as Song plays a one-two with Adebayor and fires a vicious shot towards the far post.

47 Arsenal begin with a lovely build-up, which includes a delightful stepover from Eboue, but Bolton claim possession after Djourou's cutback proves errant.

Substitution46 Clichy is unable to continue after that challenge from Davies and so Johan Djourou is introduced. Clichy is in fact on his way to hospital for x-rays on his shin injury, although he did gingerly hobble off - as opposed to being stretchered off - so that may just be a precaution. Meanwhile we're back underway at The Reebok.

Half Time45+5 The half-time whistle goes and it's Arsenal who boast a 2-1 lead. However it looks a precarious advantage as Bolton have been threatening from set pieces, and Clichy looks unlikely to play any further part in the match.

Yellow Card45+2 Davies flattens Gael Clichy with a studs-up challenge and is shown a yellow card. It all leads to a bit of tension between the two sides, and Clichy needs some medical attention.

45+1 Fabregas' chipped ball towards Adebayor at the back post is straight into the arms of Jaaskelainen as the first half winds down.

45 Jlloyd Samuel heads off on a cheeky run and earns a throw-in. That leads to a typical Bolton set piece, as Samuel's throw-in is headed back by Davies into the path of Nolan, who shoots six inches wide.

44 The visitors come forward in search of a third before the break and force Steinsson to concede a corner. However that ends in Bolton earning a free-kick.

43 Arsenal's intensity has evaporated since they got those two goals in as many minutes, but that will be a reminder that a one-goal lead is far from safe.

41 Best move of the match from Bolton, which begins with Gardner running at the defence. He would have got through but for a superb last-ditch challenge by Toure. The ball bobbles around but ends up with Davies setting up Nolan beautifully, and the midfielder forces a great diving save out of Almunia.

40 Nolan's nudge in the back is spotted by the referee and Arsenal take a quick free-kick near the halfway line.

38 Toure is down claiming an elbow to the head from Davies, but the replay shows there was nothing malicious about the Bolton forward's play. Toure goes off after some brief treatment but looks like he'll be back straight away.

37 Arsenal deal with the danger and break very quickly indeed. Adebayor creates space for Eboue to run into with the ball, and the latter shoots from six yards out, only for a Bolton defender to deflect it just wide.

36 Gallas puts in a rough challenge near the centre and Bolton will chip the free-kick into the box.

35 Gretar Steinsson tries to put in a cross from the right wing, but it drifts over Almunia's crossbar.

34 Joey O'Brien swings in a cross from the right, but Kolo Toure was in the right place to clear.

33 Arsenal build up once more, but this time Bendtner loses the ball on the edge of the penalty box.

32 Alexandre Song tries to put his central midfield compatriot Fabregas through, but it's too long and goes out for a goalkick.

31 After that frenetic 15 minutes, the game has quietened down as Arsenal ease off the gas now that they're in the lead.

30 Fabregas sends a long, sweeping ball over to Eboue on the left wing, but the Ivorian's control lets him down and Bolton have a throw-in.

29 Buoyed by his goal, Eboue finds space 30 yards out and tries his luck, but puts the shot wide of the far post.

Goal27 GOAL: Given the pressure that Arsenal have exerted over the past ten minutes, it's no great surprise that they're now ahead. Denilson is played in behind the Bolton defence on the left, and he puts in a low cross for Bendtner to turn into the net.

Goal26 GOAL: The answer, is 'not long at all'. Fabregas calms things down on the edge of the area and plays the ball to Bendtner. He puts a ball through to Adebayor, who was onside, but it's Eboue who runs onto it to stick it in the net. Eboue was offside, but the goal stands...

24 And would you believe it, Adebayor has hit the post again! This time it was a header from a corner, and Bolton are living a charmed life at the moment. How long can it last?

23 Again! Now Bendtner is set up on the six-yard box but a Bolton defender dives in to make a crucial block.

22 The chances just get better for Arsenal - this time Bendtner puts Adebayor clean through on goal, and he puts it past Jaaskelainen but hits the post!

21 Bolton make a rare foray forward but can only concede a throw-in deep in Arsenal territory in spite of Davies' hard work. And so Arsenal come forward again...

20 Great chance for Arsenal as Bendtner chests the ball down to Adebayor in space, and he shoots just wide from about 16 yards out.

19 Arsenal work the ball forward with some intricate passing and win another corner. They need to make these count.

18 Gardner is asked to curb his enthusiasm by the referee after committing a foul in the centre circle.

17 Almost a response from Arsenal as Denilson finds space on the edge of the box and lets fly with his left foot, but the effort flies just high and wide.

16 Davies collects a long ball forward down the right, but William Gallas gets across to put in an excellent tackle and come away with the ball.

14 GOAL: A long ball forward for Kevin Nolan creates pressure on Almunia, and Arsenal concede a corner. Kevin Davies times his jump to perfection and puts his side ahead, and I think it's fair to say that's against the run of play. Great finish, although it was also some very ordinary marking.

13 Bolton finally come forward with the ball, but there aren't many options for Fabrice Muamba as he looks up. He does well to win a free-kick.

12 Finally the visitors punch their way through with a through-ball, but Andy O'Brien shadows Adebayor and clears for a corner. That's overhit by Fabregas and so Bolton can take a bit of a breather after a good few minutes of ball-chasing.

11 Adebayor and Nicklas Bendtner have been starved of possession somewhat as Bolton defend deep and Arsenal struggle to pass their way through.

9 The second corner is cleared efficiently but the early signs are ominous for the hosts, even if they've forced the only save of the match so far.

8 Sagna's cross to the far post earns his side a a couple of corners as Bolton are put under pressure early on here.

7 Cesc Fabregas swings in a corner for the Gunners, but a faint flick from a defender ensures it goes straight past everyone else.

6 Ricardo Gardner wins a free-kick out on the right-hand side, and the chip into the box causes a few problems for Arsenal as they struggle to clear the ball. Eventually they get out of their own third.

5 Some strong work from Emmanuel Eboue, who has started out on the left-hand side with Denilson on the right, ensures that Arsenal keep possession in the centre of the park.

4 Manuel Almunia is so nearly caught out by Nolan, who pounces on a loose ball and hits it first time as he attempts to curl one in from 35 yards out. However Almunia leaps back to punch over the bar.

3 Kevin Nolan concedes a free-kick with a challenge on Bacari Sagna. Arsenal work it forward and attempt to put Emmanuel Adebayor through on goal but Jussi Jaaskelainen comes out to claim it.

2 Arsenal are soon on the attack, and Ebi Smolarek is forced to head behind for a corner. However it goes too deep and Bolton clear the danger.

1 It's the home side who get us underway in, would you believe it, glorious sunshine at The Reebok. They win a free-kick within ten seconds

Arsenal: Almunia, Sagna, Toure, Gallas, Clichy, Eboue, Fabregas, Song Billong, Denilson, Adebayor, Bendtner

Bolton: Jaaskelainen, Steinsson, Shittu, Andrew O'Brien, Samuel, Joey O'Brien, Smolarek, Muamba, Nolan, Gardner, Davies

The team news is in, and England star Theo Walcott has to settle for a place on the Arsenal bench at the Reebok Stadium. He's one of two changes to the side that drew with Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League in midweek. Nicklas Bendtner and Emmanuel Eboue are restored to the starting line-up with Robin van Persie also standing down. Poland striker Ebi Smolarek makes his Bolton debut after replacing Gavin McCann.
