Full-time It's over 3-2! An amazing game that takes Germany into Sunday's final even though Turkey were the better side for long periods and needed huge chunks of luck to triumph.

90+3 - High and wide Metin takes the free kick but blasts it well over the crossbar.

90+2 - Chance Ballack trips Tumer Metin just outside the area.

90+1 - Answer What have Turkey got left as they bring on Tumer Metin? Germany take Klose off for Janssen to run the clock down.

90 - GOAL! Surely Germany have won it. Lahm, who has been tortured down the Turkish right all night, plays a one-two with Frings and cuts into the area and fires into the roof of the net past Rustu.

89 - Thrilling Turkey break with the excellent Altintop who lays off to Semih to shoot a yard wide from 30 yards.

87 - Deserved You've got to hand it to Turkey. They deserve their equaliser - in fact they deserve to be winning - but the Germans have been outplayed here this evening.

86 - GOAL! Truly amazing! Brilliant play down the right by Sabri to kid a bemused Lahm and his low cross is turned home by Semih's toe-poke past Lehmann.

84 - Cross Gokdeniz skips inside and sends over a deep cross but Semih had come short and it drifts out for a goal-kick.

83 - Replacement Another sub comes on for Turkey with Gokdeniz Karadeniz on for Ugur after Rustu dives bravely at the feet of Klose to cut out Podolski's cross.

82 - Change Turkey bring on Mevlut Erdinc for Ayhan Akman.

81 - Response What have Turkey got left? Well, a whipped-in corner from Altintop is tipped behind by Lehmann with Semih arriving dangerously.

79 - GOAL! Unbelievable! A simple cross is missed by keeper Rustu and Klose, largely anonymous, is on hand to head Germany 2-1 in front.

78 - Miss Klose at last gets his head on a chance but fails to head back to Ballack and goes for a goal from a difficult angle and wastes the chance.

77 - Fatigue Turkey content to concede ground at the moment and maybe tiring a little bit after their tough campaign.

75 - Hammer Germany counter and the ball fall to the 'Hammer' Hitzlsperger whose 30-yarder flies inches wide.

74 - Dazzling Ugur Boral, possibly the man of the match, diddles Friedrich but shoots on the angle straight at Lehmann.

73 - Dampener The rain is just beginning to fall so every incentive to get it finished inside 90 minutes!

71 - Weak Kazim-Richards tricks Lahm with a superb step-over but then tumbles like a sack of spuds when barely touched inside the area. Stay on your feet!

70 - Dismal Germany lose the ball again and look an abject side at the moment. Ballack and Co need to produce something special

69 - Corner Ugur Boral wins another corner and he's been a revelation in his first start. Altintop's flag kick is headed up and out by Metzelder.

68 - Overlap Turkey are playing a bit of possession football themselves but Sabri gets in behind Lahm again but his cutback misses Semih in the middle and Germany clear.

66 - Breakdown Germans get a bit of possession at last but a dozen square balls are followed by an angled delivery towards Lahm but he cannot keep it from going for a goal-kick.

65 - Pressure Altintop plays in Kazim-Richards and the ball goes right across goal to Hakan Balta and Germany cannot relieve the pressure.

64 - Raid Sabri makes a run down the right and is found by Kazim-Richards but his low near-post cross is gathered by Lehmann.

62 - Overhit Germany look long for the break of Podolski but the ball is overhit and goes out for a goal-kick.

60 - Foul Turkey win a free kick 40 yards from goal and they appear to be lining up a shot. Altintop blasts it miles over the bar.

58 - Waste Ballack goes down under Altintop's challenge 27 yards from goal. Ballack is over the ball but hammers the free-kick into the wall.

56 - Shot The ball breaks to the Germans in midfield and Hitzlsperger drills a 25-yard shot a foot over the bar.

55 - Inaccurate Friedrich races down the right with Ballack breaking into the box but the cross is cleared by Gokhan Zan.

53 - Caution Semih is now booked for a trip on Frings though it did not look worse than Lahm's assault on Altintop earlier.

52 - Appeal Germany appeal long and loud for a penalty for an apparent foul by Sabri on Lahm but the referee waves play on. That looked a debatable decision.

51 - Mazy Ugur Boral again looks lively as he runs at the German defence but his lay-off cannot find Hakan Balta.

50 - Lucky Lahm escapes a booking for hauling back Altintop. The same player takes the free kick but the far-post delivery is too close to Lehmann.

49 - Stormy Black clouds gathering and a downpour could be on the way.

48 - Charge Podolski races past Mehmet Aurelio down the left but his cross is overhit.

46 - Change We're back under way and at last Frings does come on for the wounded Rolfes.

Fans People are coming out in support of Turkey after their enterprising first half. Nick Goode and Nicholas Hayes are backing the Turks to triumph and Martin Pocock thinks Kazim-Richards will grab the winner.

45 - Half-time The whistle goes on a fascinating half with Turkey right on top and Germany glad to go in level at 1-1. What could possibly happen in the second half?

44 - Shambles Germany all at sea in this first half and now decide that Rolfes can come back and Frings sits down again.

43 - Change Rolfes is too injured to continue and Germany bring on Torsten Frings even though he is supposed to be less than 100 per cent.

41 - Scorcher Ayhan storms back onto the pitch to join in with a break that sees Kazim-Richards feed Sabri who is only inches over the bar with a raking drive.

40 - Wounded Rolfes goes off with his head bleeding after an aerial clash with Ayhan Akman.

39 - Control Turkey seems to have weathered that shock equaliser and still have the majority of the play.

38 - Thunderbolt Kazim-Richards gets a boot in the face after slipping past Lahm and it's a free kick in a very dangerous area. Mehmet Topal's effort is whipped around the wall and a stunned Lehmann punches clear.

36 - Wasted Kazim-Richards fires a poor cross into the crowd after more great play by Altintop, who looks classy in his natural midfield slot.

34 - Chance Hitzlsperger sends Podolski clear of a depleted Turkish back-line but he blasts his shot over the top from the angle of the box and a great chance is wasted.

32 - Danger Ugur Boral takes the corner and then when it's cleared back to him, he ghosts past Friedrich but scuffs his shot.

31 - Heart-stopping Semih is tripped out on the left and the Turks send up the centre-backs. Altintop's swerving free kick is tipped over the bar by a back-pedalling Lehmann.

29 - Header Sabri whizzes down the right and his looping cross is headed goalwards by Semih but it's an easy save for Lehmann.

28 - Prediction I don't know who's going to win but I bet there's more goals in this!

27 - GOAL! Just when you thought...Germany are level at 1-1 as Podolski slings a low ball into the box and Schweinsteiger flicks it past Rustu after beating his man to the near-post.

25 - Shot Senturk spins and fires in a shot that Metzelder deflects for a corner. Altintop's corner flies across the six-yard box with Germany all over the place.

24 - Amazing Well, let's have some e-mails now! Will it still be Germany by three or four goals?

22 - GOAL! Turkey have the lead and it's deserved. Ugur Boral scrambles the ball home after Kazim-Richards' shot comes back off the bar. Game on!

22 - Menace Kazim-Richards in behind Lahm again and the white shirts have to get back to block the danger.

20 - Wasted Lukas Podolski tries to thread a ball through to Klose but it's woeful and Rustu collects easily. Germans off the pace at the moment.

18 - Pressure Ballack tries to feed Schweinsteiger and when Lahm whips the ball into the danger area, Mehmet Topal clears from the tip of Ballack's toe.

17 - Reply Germany have not been deep in Turkish territory for more than 10 minutes but Miroslav Klose is taken out. The hanging free-kick is easy for Rustu.

15 - Red wave Ayhan Akman almost sneaks past Rolfes to pick up a chip into the box and Turkey are running the show.

13 - Woodwork The ball is pulled back to Kazim-Richards on the edge of the box and he smacks a first-time shot against the bar.

11 - Surprise Another poor pass in midfield and Germany have to retreat to snuff out Kazim-Richards. This is not going to script at the moment.

9 - Teasing Kazim-Richards is testing Philipp Lahm down the German left and the favourites are rattled as Lahm almost puts Lehmann in trouble with a poor back-pass.

8 - Aggressive Turkey are pressing high up the pitch and Colin Kazim-Richards tests Lehmann with a 20-yard shot that the keeper gathers.

6 - Break Turkey in behind the German right flank and Hakan Balta's cross is hooked out of his own six-yard box by Metzelder.

4 - Dominance Apart from a long hoof downfield by Gokhan Zan, Germany are spraying the ball around in the Turkish half.

2 - Back foot Germans in the ascendancy straight away and Turkey getting plenty behind the ball.

1 - Balmy We're under way at the St-Jakob Stadium and conditions are dry and mild though the pitch still looks a bit of a patchwork quilt.

Backlash Hooray! Rob Foster and the Teutonic-sounding Hans Kromann are backing the Turks.

Any increase? Should be 4-1 to the Germans, according to Derek Bowen and Michael Ballack to score twice.

Goals galore Richard King over in North Carolina reckons Germany to win by at least three goals.

Unconcerned Stephen Gilchrist is not a fan of either side and thinks the game might be a non-contest. Any Turkish backers out there?

Easy-peasy Well, the first e-mail agrees with me! Cherian Ninan says it wil be an easy task tonight for the Germans and they will meet Spain in the final.

Pre-match Well, 90 minutes (or possibly 120 or more!) away from the final of Euro 2008 and it's all looking good for the Germans. They field the XI that beat Portugal in the quarter-final and have no worries. Turkey are hit by injuries and suspensions and start without Emre, Nihat, Servet Cetin, Tuncay, Arda, Emre Asik and keeper Volkan. Surely this is a game too far for the Turks. Do you agree?
