Liverpool go top of the Premier League but only by a point instead of the three they hoped for. Not good enough tonight but West Ham defended well and it's an excellent point for them - it could have been three late on but Boa Morte wasted a big chance.
90 It's all over and Liverpool are booed from the park after drawing 0-0 with West Ham.
90 West Ham almost catch Liverpool out as Cole forces Reina into a good save - but the flag is up for offside even though Cole was clearly at least two yards onside.
90 Good burst forward by Babel as he uses his pace to beat two men but his strike is deflected just wide of goal.
89 Big chance for West Ham - Liverpool are caught out pushing forward and Boa Morte is sent clean through on goal but he slices his shot well wide. He should have won the game for the Hammers.
88 Gerrard's superb diagonal ball is brought down really well by Kuyt at the back post but his shot is blocked by Green. Big chance for Liverpool.
87 Another blocked shot from Gerrard - West Ham are defending superbly here.
86 Ngog has a go but Upson gets in the way of his shot.
85 Faubert is replaced by Boa Morte.
84 Gerrard again shoots well wide from 25 yards out - it looks like it's not going to be Liverpool's night.
83 Real chance for West Ham but Cole takes far too long inside the box to pass across goal for Parker.
81 Luis Boa Morte is gettnig ready to come on for West Ham.
80 Hyypia goes so close again for Liverpool. He beats Green to the ball from a corner but can't direct it on target and Kuyt is just inches away from turning the ball home at the back post.
78 Babel is on and it's Reira who makes way.
77 Ryan Babel will be on for Liverpool shortly.
76 Another poor effort from long range for Liverpool, this time it's Alonso who shoots straight at Green.
75 Good burst forward by Gerrard but successive crosses into the box by Kuyt and Dossena are too long for their team-mates.
74 More poor play by Riera on the left as he runs the ball out of play for a goal-kick.
73 Another wasteful effort by Gerrard as he blasts well over from 30 yards out.
72 Ilunga needs treatment, it looks like he was hit with the ball by his own team-mate.
71 Cole bursts forward on the left for West Ham before Dossena makes a good challenge. West Ham are looking more dangerous the longer this game goes on.
70 Ngog shows good skill in the box to win Liverpool a corner.
69 You don't see it too often but Gerrard goes for goal with his left foot on the edge of the box - he completely misses the ball and falls over. That's the way it's going for Liverpool at the moment.
67 A glorious chance for West Ham as Cole heads wide of goal from a corner just six yards out. The home fans are showing their frustration now.
66 Keane is the man to make way for Ngog.
65 David Ngog is getting ready to come on for Liverpool.
64 Good run forward by Behrami on the left but he is eventually tackled by Carragher.
62 Clever free-kick by Gerrard which finds Alonso on the edge of the box but he volleys well wide. Right idea, not a particularly good execution though.
61 Another decent chance for Gerrard but he sends another left-footed effort well wide of goal.
59 Another effort on goal for West Ham, this time for Hayden Mullins but it's an easy save for Reina.
58 Parker drives forward for West Ham, but his left-footed shot at goal from 25 yards out is dragged well wide.
57 Keane lays the ball off for Gerrard but the skipper's left-footed effort is well wide of Green's goal.
56 So close to the opening goal for Liverpool. James Collins fails to deal with Gerrard's cross and the ball falls to Benayoun who lashes at goal, only for Green to pull off an excellent save and tip the ball over the bar.
55 Good play by Benayoun finds Keane just inside the box but he slices his effort at goal well wide.
54 The first yellow card of the game is shown to Alonso for a cynical foul on Bellamy.
53 Kuyt is easily dispossessed by Behrami.
52 Decent move by West Ham as Faubert almost gets on the end of Bellamy's clever touch.
51 Kuyt burst forward but opts to go for goal from 25 yards out rather than passing to Gerrard who looked to be in a much better position.
50 The second half has started in the same fashion as the first - with Liverpool controlling possession but failing to create anything.
49 This time, Alonso looks for Keane through the middle but the flag is up against the latter.
48 Julien Faubert sends Cole clean through on goal but the striker is flagged for offside.
47 Keane's cross finds Kuyt at the back post but his knock-down can't find Alonso.
46 Liverpool get the second half under way with both sides unchanged.
Liverpool have come in to 4/7 after their goalless first half, although West Ham have also gone out to 17/2. Robbie Keane is 9/2 for the next goal with Craig Bellamy an 18/1 shot.
Ricky from Wales isn't happy either, saying: "We rely on our only real world class player to provide a piece of magic-without Fernando Torres we will always drop points against the likes of West Ham, Stoke and Fulham."
Dec Barron says: "I am dissapointed with liverpool as i have been most of this season. Although they are 2nd they never seem to take their chances."
A disappointing first half from Liverpool, who despite dominating possession, haven't created too much apart from at set-pieces. West Ham have been almost non-existant as an attacking force but could have taken a shock lead thanks to Bellamy's stunning strike from 25 yards out.
The whistle blows for half time and it's still goalless at Anfield.
45 Bellamy goes for goal again from long range, this time from a free-kick but Reina gathers his low shot at the second attempt.
45 There will be one minute of added time.
44 Hyypia has yet another chance for Liverpool. Still forward from the earlier corner, he gets on the end of Gerrard's inswinging cross into the box but heads wide.
43 Another chance from a corner for Liverpool as Kuyt meets Alonso's delivery at the back post but Green manages to pull off a good save at his near post.
42 Kuyt wins Liverpool another corner.
41 Neill easily dispossesses Reira easily on the left again, it's been a poor night so far for the midfielder.
39 Reira does well to create space on the left but his cross into the box is poor and drifts out of play.
38 Gerrard goes for a long range effort of his own but fires high over Green's bar.
37 Brilliant effort on goal by Bellamy. Out of nowhere the former Liverpool man blasts at goal from 25 yards out and his rocket comes back off the inside of the post. Reina was beaten all ends up, great play.
36 The ball falls to Gerrard on the right again, he cuts inside past Cole but then shoots into the side-netting.
36 Gerrard does just that but Upson rises above the defender to clear.
35 Another corner to Liverpool and another chance to look for Hyypia.
34 Cole chases a long ball forward but Carragher calmly nods back into the arms of Reina.
33 For all Liverpool's possession, they have created very little apart from at set-pieces. As for West Ham, they've offered almost nothing in an attacking sense.
31 Benayoun finds space inside the box but his square ball for Kuyt isn't the best and the Dutchman is dispossessed before Alonso lashes well over the bar.
30 A hint of frustration coming from the home fans as again they struggle to break down the West Ham defence.
29 It's the West Ham fans who are making all the noise at the moment and fair play to them, there's been little for them to shout about on the pitch.
28 Dossena delivers again from the left which falls to Kuyt at the back post but the Dutchman's cross back into the danger area is a poor one.
27 Excellent cross into the box by Dossena but Upson is there to deal with it for West Ham.
26 Gerrard goes for goal from around 30 yards out but his shot is blocked by the West Ham defence.
24 Andrea Dossena finds space on the left but instead of feeding Reira in down the line, he opts to look for Robbie Keane and his pass is cut out.
23 Liverpool are beginning to pile on the pressure on West Ham but you have to wonder how much the last home Premier League game against Fulham is in their mind. They dominated for much of that game too but still drew 0-0.
22 Carlton Cole is adjudged to have fouled Xabi Alonso in midfield but the Liverpool free-kick comes to nothing.
21 It's all Liverpool and once again Hyypia goes close. Dirk Kuyt nods the ball back across goal for the big defender but Carlton Cole is there to clear off the line.
19 From the corner, Hyypia is again Liverpool's target but West Ham deal with the danger well.
18 Gerrard goes from goal from a free-kick 25 yards out but his effort is deflected wide of target.
16 Scott Parker looks for Valon Behrami with a through ball but the pass is too strong and Liverpool have possession.
15 Sami Hyypia gets on the end of Gerrard's corner but sends his powerful header over the bar. Decent chance for the defender there.
13 West Ham break quickly and although the Liverpool defence copes in the end, it looks like Bellamy could get some joy with his pace tonight.
12 First chance of the game for Liverpool as Green unconvincingly punches a cross clear and the ball falls to Albert Reira but his effort on goal is cleared by Matthew Upson.
11 Jose Reina has to rush out of his box to prevent Craig Bellamy getting on the end of a through ball.
10 Liverpool are so far enjoying the bulk of possession as you would expect but haven't created any clear-cut chances .
8 The game is pretty quiet at the moment and Jack from bristol says "I have to say i do believe this is liverpools game to win if they dont make any silly mistakes. This win will put them 3 points clear so they must keep their confidence. I fell this is liverpools title this year and when Keane gets into full stride the reds will not be stopped."
7 Ross from Ireland reckons: "Keane should do the business tonight, 2-0 to the pool I think should be comfortable win."
6 Jim says: "I disagree with Firas. Liverpool to win 2-0, West ham don't have the quality to match Liverpool."
5 Yossi Benayoun's cross into the box is blocked by herita Ilunga. Liverpool players and fans claim he handled the ball but Peter Walton isn't interested and waves play on.
4 It's gareth.friel@bskyb.com for all your emails.
3 First mail from someone who doesn't think the home side will win tonight. Firas Al-Samarraie says: "Sorry Liverpool, you don't have the depth. Come christmas time you'll be dropping points because you don't have a deep enough squad. Your dependance on Torres will show today, 0-0."
2 Quick break by Liverpool but Steven Gerrard's cross is coolly chested back to Robert Green by Lucas Neill.
1 West Ham get the game under way here at Anfield, wearing their change strip of light blue.
Harel Schorr says: "im watching in israel, my boy benayoun to score liverpool to win 2-0"
Sam Chaplin says: "i think liverpool will get a comfortable 3-0 win at anfield, with a good team layout. i am feeling good about the premier league being brought home to Anfield."
