The full-time whistle goes and it's finished all-square at three apiece. What a result. Again City have dropped more points at home. Burnley will be delighted with this. We hope you've enjoyed our commentary. Stayed with all for player ratings and reaction from both camps.
90+3 There can only be seconds left. What a result this would be for Burnley.
90+2 Carlisle is booked for holding back Bellamy.
90+1 Petrov's sends in a left-footed cross, but no one for City attacks the ball.
90 Four minutes of injury time will be played. There is time for both sides to bag a winner.
87 City switch off for a second and Nugent picks out Fletcher and his cross is met by McDonald in the middle who lashes home. A goal out of nothing!
87 Burnley are level! 3-3
85 This match is far from over. City are looking for more while Burnley can never be underestimated.
83 Mears earns himself a booking for going in high with his head on Wright-Phillips. The fans wanted a straight red, but I think that would have been harsh. It was hard to judge the intent.
81 It should have been four. Petrov's cross is begging to be tapped in at the far post, however, Adebayor wasn't busting a gut to be tap home.
80 Petrov's long-range effort fizzes over Jensen's crossbar. It was well struck, but always rising.
78 Petrov's corner causes problems, but Nugent is on the line to stop Carlisle's final touch going into his own net. All City at the moment.
77 Bellamy runs at Burnley's defence, but his cross is deflected out for a corner. Half a shout for handball, but Attwell was having none of it.
74 Indeed City have switched to a more orthodox 4-4-2. Let's see how it impacts the game.
74 Tevez is now replaced by Petrov. Petrov should go out wide left with Bellamy possibly taking a more central role.
73 Bridge's long ball from Bellamy and his cross in the middle from Tevez, who is unable to get his effort on target.
72 Petrov is ready to come on for the home side. Tevez's cross is collected by Jensen.
70 Third and final change for Burnley with striker Nugent replacing Eagles. Fletcher will have a strike partner now.
70 20 minutes to go and the game is finely poised. Will City get a clinching fourth or will Burnley hit back?
67 Tevez's shot from Wright-Phillips cross is well saved down to his left by Jensen. It wasn't the best of shots, but the keeper was required none the less.
66 Adebayor is lucky to escape a booking for lunging in twice. He just gets a ticking off from Attwell. They were silly challenges.
64 Fletcher's long-range effort is half blocked and easily collected by Given, who to be fair has had little to do in the second half.
62 The rain is continuing to fall. It's been an action-packed game and a thrilling encounter. More goals to come? Let's hope so.
62 Coyle is making a double switch with McDonald and Gudjonsson replacing Bikey and Blake.
61 There is a real buzz around the stadium now. The home side have the scent of blood every time City are in possession.
60 This is a real test of Burnley's character now. They played so well in the first half, but find themselves behind with a third of the match to play.
59 Lescott's long-ball finds Ireland and he plays in Wright-Phillips whose by-line cross picks out Bellamy who slots home past Jensen. What a turnaround. City lead.
59 City lead! Bellamy has scored. 3-2 to City.
57 It's not been Adebayor's day. It wouldn't surprise me if he is replaced by Santa Cruz anytime soon.
56 Lescott cut Barry's free-kick back across goal and Toure couldn't fail to find the back of the net. City have battled back to level matters after being two-down. This game is up for grabs.
55 City are level! Toure has scored from close-range.
53 Jordan and Zabaleta come together following a strong challenge from the Argentine. It's a corner for City. Attwell opts against booking both players.
51 Attwell has a shot chat with Alexander, who voiced his opinion at City winning a free-kick. Good refereeing there to calm the situation down.
49 Wasteful! City break through Tevez. Bellamy picks up the loose ball at the back post and tees up Ireland who skies his shot well over.
48 Tevez's free-kick is on target, but held by Jensen.
47 City have settled quicker after half time and have a free-kick in a dangerous area after Wright-Phillips is felled.
Neither manager has decided to make changes at the break. I wonder if Wright-Phillips goal on the stroke of half-time changed Hughes' mind.
City get the second half underway! Burnley lead by two goals to one.
These are the latest match odds with skybet.com. Man City win 8/5 Draw 9/5 Burnley win 7/4.
The half-time whistle goes and Burnley surprisingly lead 2-1 at City. Alexander opened the scoring from the penalty spot with Fletcher doubling their advantage. Wright-Phillips pulled one back for City before half time.
45 The goal has galvanised City. Tevez's tries a left-footer with a quick turn and shot, but the effort lacked power allowing Jensen to collect easily.
44 Wright-Phillips seemed to run out of ideas then and decided to shoot from the edge of City's area. His effort deflected off Jordan and around Jensen's outstretched hand to nestle in the far corner. Game on.
43 City have pulled one back through Wright-Phillips. City got a bit lucky there.
41 Great save from Jensen to deny Bellamy. Adebayor played in the Welsh ace and his shot was destined for the far corner of the net before Jensen parried it wide.
39 Some good possession by Burnley is doing little to appease the home fans' nerves. It's a great display by the newly-promoted side here in Eastlands.
38 Wright-Phillips has the ball in the net from Ireland's through-ball, but he is rightly flagged for offside. Seven minutes until half time.
35 Corner to City. They are attempting to steady the ship after being stung by a second. However, they aren't really threatening. Burnley are playing out of their skin,
32 Blake finds Eagles who runs at City's defence and crosses for Fletcher to tap home. This coming seconds after Given denied Burnley a second from close range. This is a remarkable scoreline. City's fans are not happy.
32 2-0 to Burnley! Would you believe it. Fletcher has tapped home.
31 Bellamy joins Bikey in Attwell's notebook for catching Eagles. It looked a little soft, but the referee has set the standard now.
29 Bikey is booked for a sliding challenge on Wright-Phillips. That looked a little harsh for me. City seem to be getting the bulk of the decisions. Blake was unlucky not to win a free-kick seconds earlier.
27 Eagles' drive is blocked by Lescott out for another Burnley corner. A second would make the natives even more restless.
27 27 minutes gone here and few would have predicted this scoreline. Burnley lead 1-0.
26 Attwell is losing control here. Firstly he wouldn't give a decision City's way and now they are getting everything, much to Burnley's discontent.
23 City break through Burnley's backline, but Adebayor is flagged for offside. There are sure to be more goals here. Burnley are not content with sitting back in numbers either.
21 City have responded well to going behind and are now all over Burnley. It's an exciting game.
Burnley take the lead! Alexander has smashed the ball home past Given. The keeper went the right way, but he had no chance of keeping out the shot. The visitors lead!
18 Penalty for Burnley! Mears' cross hits Lescott's arm and the referee has given it.
17 Fine tackle there from Jordan to halt Wright-Phillips' run. Corner for City, but it comes to nothing.
16 Good work by Bellamy there tracking Eagles' run and getting back to help out his defence.
14 The home side are trying to be too fancy at the moment. I feel if they go back to basics they could have a little more success. Meanwhile, for Burnley, Fletcher is looking a little isolated up front.
13 City break, but Zabaleta is blocked off and cannot reach Wright-Phillips' through-ball. Early Bellamy opted to find Adebayor in a good position and the move ended.
10 Owen Coyle will take this start. City's started brightly, but the visitors are looking organised at the back and are not willing to give City anything.
9 Tevez's long-range effort is woeful and well off target. You'd expect a player of his quality to do a little better, although it was a long way out to be fair.
8 Half a chance. Blake stabs wide from Alexander's low cross. The Clarets are not being daunted by the situation they face.
7 Burnley have a free kick for Bridge's foul on Mears. Blake put the ball in the net shortly after, but the whistle had gone long before.
6 Burnley's fans are in fine voice. City's fans are just waiting to see what their heroes can serve up before getting involved I think.
4 From a corner Carlisle's ambitious over-head kick is well off target. At the least the visitors have been able to relieve some pressure.
4 Burnley seem to be operating a 4-2-3-1 formation early. Clearly they don't want to concede early.
2 Blake is very deep for Burnley at the moment. City have started brightly and are looking up for this one.
1 Chance inside the opening minute with Wright-Phillips causing problems and chipping over Jensen's goal from an acute angle.
Burnley get the match underway! They are attacking the goal to my left and playing away from the visitors' end.
Kick-off is upon us. It's just about a full house and indeed Burnley's fans have travelled in numbers.
Scrap the dry talk the rain has just started to fall now! The surface looks in great condition so expect any shots on the ground to be tough to handle for both keepers.
The teams have finished their warm ups and returned to the warmth of their dressing rooms. Just ten minutes now until the big kick-off!
The City of Stadium is filling up nicely. It should be cracking atmosphere. I'm expecting a strong following from Burney, who only have the short distance to travel to Eastlands.
This is the first-ever Premier League meetings between the teams. City are looking to end their winless run in league action while Burnley are searching for their first away win of the new campaign,
Here's are the match result odds with skybet. Man. City win 1/3 Draw 7/2 Burnley win 10/1. If you think The Clarets can come away with all three points you can win ten times your stake by betting on the visitors. Happy betting!
Team news wise Mark Hughes goes with his tried and trusted attacking trio of Tevez, Adebayor and Bellamy. Santa Cruz is back on the bench while Robinho is still recovering from injury.
Burnley will be pleased to have Brian 'the beast' Jensen fit and available after he was injured against Wigan. Ex-City defender Stephen Jordan goes head-to-head with one of his former clubs. City have a mammoth task on their hands getting anything out of today's match. Can they upset the odds?
It's a dry day here in Manchester, but it's bitterly cold so my hands are a little frosty writing this! Let's hope the action on the pitch warms things up. The teams are just going through their warm-up routines.
