Zola: Turf Moor trip.
90+6 It's all over! Burnley win their forst game under Brian Laws. It was comfortable for a lot of the game and the second goal really seemed to have killed the match off but West Ham pulled one back through Ilan and the hosts were holding on at the end!
90+5 A long throw in is flicked on but Jensen gets down to collect the ball.
90+4 Almost over now as West Ham come forward but Burnley refuse to give in.
90+3 Spector rifles the ball in with Jensen stranded but he can't hit the target.
90+1 Bikey fires inches wide. Close for Burnley.
89 Mido hits the post! I'm being forced to eat my words as the Hammers almost complete a comeback but the Egyptian's stretching effort is just not good enough.
87 Nugent is brought off and Steven Thompson is brought on in his place.
87 Ilan rises to meet a cross but his downward header is well saved by Jensen. A chance for West Ham
85 David Edgar is brough on for debut hero Fox.
84 Fletcher crosses fro Nugent, who can't make clean contact and the chance goes begging.
83 Mido strikes one from a long way out but it's way over the bar.
Cole made his presence felt in the box before playing in a ball that Jensen could not gather under pressure. It came out to the Brazilian, who placed his shot into an empty net. Another debut goal!
80 GOAL - ILAN!!
78 The ball is at the wrong end for West Ham as Burnley win a throw-in deep in the opponents territory. Howver, it comes to nothing.
76 The travelling West Ham fans get a glimpse of all three of their new strikers as Ilan comes on for Mark Noble.
74 Burnley look like they'll be able to see this one out now. West Ham have looked dangerous in spurts but don't really look like coming back.
72 Martin Paterson is brought on for Robbie Blake.
70 Stanislas sends in a free-kick from the left. That definitely was a cross, but it curls amazingly and strikes the bar before bouncing clear.
69 Burnley come forward again as a nice cross from Elliot is met by Fletcher. The striker sends his header wide when he really should have worked the keeper.
66 Cole has the ball in the net but it's offside. Faubert did brilliantly on the left, sending in a great cross that was prodded goalward by James Tomkins. Cole was miles offside but had no choice but to put the errant shot in the back of the net. The flag went up and it's still 2-0.
64 Fox clears a ball in from Mido before another Faubert cross is headed out by Clarke Carlisle.
62 Junior Stanislas is brought on to replace Collison.
61 Nugent plays Fletcher clean through but the Scotsman is offside.
60 Fox drills in another dangerous ball but West Ham eventually manage to clear the danger.
58 Mears blasts one over the bar. All action at the moment.
56 It's all happening now. Parker jinks into the box and fires in a low shot but Jensen gets down to make a brilliant save. Almost 2-1 straight away.
What a dream debut! From the free-kick following the Collison foul, he swings a ball in that curls past everyone and into the top corner. Was that a cross? Maybe not actually.
54 GOAL - FOX!!
53 Mears burst into the box and is brought down by Collison...outside the box. The replays show it was the right decision as Mears was pushed outside the box and fell it.
51 First booking of the match as Kevin McDonald pulls back Parker. His midfield partner bikey has been at it all afternoon but is yet to be shown the yellow card, but he is booked on probably his first offence.
51 Collison tries one from long range but it is blocked by Leon Cort and Burnely counter.
49 The Hammers have started the second half quite brightly as they look for an equaliser.
48 Mido is fed by Cole and lashes one in from just inside the area. It clatters against the advertising boards behind the goal after fizzing wide.
47 Cole turns and takes a swipe at the ball. But it turns out to be a mishit and trickles wide of Jensen's post.
45 Kick-off! Second half is underway.
Mido is on for Benni McCarthy, who looked pretty lively in the first half but did pick up a knock so it may be injury related.
Mido has come out for the second half atripped down to his kit. Change coming up for West Ham.
45=2 Half-time at Turf Moor. Burnley lead at the break after a well taken goal from the returning David Nugent. West Ham responded after going behind but new boy Benni McCarthy had what would have been an equaliser cleared off the line. Still anyone's game.
45+1 Serial offender Bikey pulls back Parker but is not booked.
45 The West Ham defence try their best to mess-up a cross from the left but eventually Green picks the ball up.
44 Blake's free-kick comes back to him but his second cross doesn't find anyone and West Ham can clear the danger.
43 Burnley with some pressure now as Mears tries to cross but is blocked before Elliot is fouled by Collison out wide.
42 Another long ball causes confusion at the back for West Ham but it's dealt with this time.
40 Faubert again gets in a cross. It's well-hit and low this time but that doesn't stop Jensen from getting down to gather.
39 West Ham's spell of pressure seems to have eased off. There's a lull in the action now with the ball being knocked around in midfield.
37 McCarthy is back on as Burnley win a corner that is easily cleared by the Hammers.
36 McCarthy hobbles off with a knock as a concerned Zola looks on.
35 An equaliser is surely coming if Burnley don't get back into it soon. They win a dangerous throw-in now after Fletcher made a nuisance of himself in the box.
33 McCarthy almost opens his West Ham account! He gets onto a nice ball by Parker and rounds a stricken Jensen before centre-back Leon Cort gets back to scramble a certain goal off the line. Great play all round.
33 The crosses keep coming from Zola's side. Faubert bounces one in and it's just as simple for Jensen to gather.
32 Spector's cross is again collected by Jensen as West Ham continue to come forward.
31 Cole makes a good run into the box but his cross-shot is picked up by Jensen at the near post.
30 The hosts come forward now but Wade Elliot's cross is over the bar and behind for a goal-kick.
28 Burnley seemed to have weathered the mini-storm but it's still the Hammers in possession in midfield.
26 West Ham are starting to get into this in a big way now. First, McCarthy tries to drag a ball across goal for Cole but the ball is scrambled clear. Then, Collison lets fly from outside the area but Fox makes a crucial intervention.
24 Carlton Cole lifts a good ball into McCarthy, who chests it down beautifully before prodding a weak effort well wide of the post. Well worked from the visitors.
23 Mark Noble blasts a pass down the wing to no-one in particular and Burnley get the ball back again.
21 Jonathan Spector tries to float a ball into McCarthy but it's way off target and easily collected by Jensen.
19 Burnley spread it around a bit before Blake attempts a ball into the box from the left. It's cleared though before Bikey commits yet another foul in the middle of the park.
17 The hosts are still coming forward and hurrying West Ham whenever they have the ball. The crowd are getting behind them too.
15 So Burnley are ahead in a match for the first time during the Brian Laws era. Can they go on and get a second?
The on-loan striker latches onto a long ball through from Danny Fox and dinks the ball over Green to give the Clarets a 1-0 lead. Matthew Upson let him in and will have to take at least some of the blame for that one.
13 GOAL - NUGENT!!
12 Not many chances yet but Burnely have certainly been enjoying the lion's share of the possession.
10 A Robbie Blake free-kick is floated into the box but again the referee spots an infringement and Green can boot this one clear.
8 Some more midfield battling from Bikey draws a loud round of applause from the home fans.
6 West Ham finally get their foot on the ball, with Julien Faubert's low cross causing little trouble for Brian Jensen in the Burnely goal.
5 Mears attempts a ball through but it is overhit and out for a goal kick.
4 The home side are still bringing the early pressure as they win another corner. Robert green gathers this one comfortably though.
2 Tyrone Mears battles to win the ball before Nugent wins a corner on the right. But the delivery comes to nothing as Howard Webb spots an infringement in the area and the Hammers can clear.
1 The hosts have the early possession as Bikey makes his presence felt in the centre of midfield.
0 Kick-off! West Ham get the action underway at Turf Moor.
We are all done with the formalities as Burnley will kick-off against the visitors, who are wearing their changed strip of dark and light blue.
We are about five minutes from kick-off as the teams take to the pitch at Turf Moor.
The most significant selection for Burnley is probably the dropping of Chris Eagles to the bench as David Nugent, who recently extended his loan to the end of the season, partners Steven Fletcher up-front in a 4-4-2.
After the Gold and Sullivan takeover, the Hammers went striker crazy on transfer deadline day. Benni McCarthy makes his debut today while Ilan and Mido are both named on the bench as Gianfranco Zola's side look to put some daylight between themselves and the drop zone.
So, bit of an important one today isn't it? Burnley have slipped into the relegation zone after three consecutive league defeats under new manager Brian Laws. The former Sheffield Wednesday boss has suffered from a tough fixture list but will need to produce the goods today at home against fellow strugglers West Ham.
The referee for today's clash is Howard Webb from South Yorkshire.
