The full-time whistle blows in the seventh minute of stoppage time. Arsenal stay in the title race as they move into second place on the same number of points as leaders Chelsea, but with a slightly inferior goal difference. Hull remain second from bottom and face a tough task to beat the drop after this defeat. Thanks for all of your e-mails - the race for the title is gathering pace!
90 + 6 Vermaelen heads the ball towards the touchline as Hull launch one last attack.
90 + 5 Hull struggling to get hold of the ball. Looks like a cruel defeat for City, who have defended heroically.
90 + 4 Arsenal still going forward looking for another goal although the ball is now in the Gunners' third of the field as they look to play out the game.
90 + 3 GOAL BENDTNER! Terrible mistake by Myhill as the keeper simply parries Denilson's long-range shot straight into the path of Bendtner, who steers the ball home.
90 + 2 Clichy holds off a challenge from Fagan and gets in a powerful shot which is too close to Myhill
90 + 1 Too many Arsenal crosses are simply being headed out by the Hull defence.
90 Cooper and Mendy get in each others' way and concede a corner which is punched clear by Myhill. Six additional minutes!
89 Marney goes for the spectacular as he tries his luck from 40 yards, but Campbell is there to make the block.
88 Clichy hoofs the ball upfield as Arsenal start to abandon their passing game. Kilbane steps in with a header back to Myhill just as Eduardo was about to intervene.
87 Great defending from Mendy, who holds off Bendtner and is awarded a free-kick inside Hull'a area.
86 Hull get a corner, but Dawson delivers a hanging crosss to the far post and Almunia takes a simple catch.
85 Another cross from the right - this tme from Sagna, but it'ss too deep and Hull clear their lines.
83 Sagna urging someone to take the ball off him as Arsenal press forward.
82 Kevin Kilbane is on for Altidore as Hull strengthen their back line. Camera pans to Zayatte, who is on crutches.
81 Another chance for Arsenal as Bendtner's cross is sent back by Arshavin for Walcott to make a hash of his shot.
80 Great chance for Arsenal as Arshavin cuts across the area and passes to Walcott, who plays a first-time pass to Bendtner. The striker controls the ball and gets in a shot whish is brillantly blocked by Mouyokolo.
79 Hull fans getting behind their team now as the tension mounts.
78 Bendtner tangles with Mendy near the Hull by-line but the last touch comes off the Dane. Goalkick correctly awarded.
77 Arshavin's cross-field pass picks out Walcott, who delivers a good cross into the box but Mendy kicks the ball so hard it disappears out of the stadium.
76 Nasri is off and Eduardo is on as the Gunners add even more arsenal to their attack.
75 Walcott is having an impact as he tries to play the ball to Arshavin, but Cooper takes the ball off the foot of the Russian from inside the box.
74 This is going to be a long last 15 minutes for City.
73 Richard Garcia comes on for the tiring Vennegoor of Hesselink.
72 City are half asleep as the corner is taken short. although the cross is poor. Clichy eventually gets the ball down the left and his cross causes panic in the area. Bendtner latches on to the loose ball but hooks it over the bar.
71 Walcott earns a corner off Marney.
70 Arsenal turning the screw now as they concentrate their efforts down the right. Can Hull hold on?
69 The Gunners break down the right and Cooper hacks clear when he should have left it for Myhill.
68 Bullard is fouled by Denilson. Wenger objects. Bullard tells Wenger it was a foul - politely. It's bubbling under this game!
67 Roy writes: "Arsenal not get a penalty? Shock. I predict 3-1 to Arsenal, Bendtner to emulate his midweek heroics."
66 Walcott is on for Eboue. What a miss! Walcott bursts down the right, cuts the ball back to Nasri, who gets a touch into the path of Arshavin. The Russian is leaning back slightly as he sends the ball towards Mars. Artrocious.
65 Arsenal passing the ball around neatly around Hull's area without being able to penetrate. Bullard breaks forward and unleashes a powerful strike which just misses the bar.
64 Walcott is preparing to come on for the Gunners, who need some fresh impetus.
63 Corner to Arsenal is delivered by Arshavin, but headed over by Campbell.
62 Steffan Williams writes: "I think Arsenal will go on to run riot, with Hull being a man down. Arsenal to win 5-1 and another Bendtner hat-trick."
61 Hull are looking the better side in the first 15 minutes, but this Arsenal team can score at any time.
Louis writes: "Both teams should have 10 men and I think that Arsenal will win 3-1."
59 Cooper sticks with Eboue but can't help concede a corner down Arsenal's right. Cooper clears the corner with a header.
58 Fagan and Vennegoor of Hessselink now both down! The former is caught by the arm of Arshavin. Both players OK to continue.
57 Campbell races across to get his head to a ball delivered to Altidore.
56 Hull-born youngster Liam Cooper replaces Zayatte.
55 Zayatte is back on the pitch but then collapses in a heap and is finally stretchered off
54 Campbell's having an eventful couple of minutes as he appears to control the ball with his arm just outside the area. Nothing given though.
53 Bullard's free-kick is high, wide and handsome. Zayatte is trying to geet on but he's still limping.
52 Zayatte goes off for treatment.
51 Campbell got the ball but the follow-through looks bad. Lucky escape for the centre-back.
50 Zayatte goes down after a challenge from Campbell. The fans are baying for blood but Marriner keeps his (red) card close to his chest.
49 Usman writes: "I have a sneeky feeling for Hull. It's not easy playing against 10 men. So going for a late Hull City winner."
48 No substitutions by the way. Joe Royle reckons we'll see Walcott introduced at some stage.
47 Van Hennegoor of Hesselink gets the better of Campbell in the area but Hull are eventually crowded out.
46 Hull get the second half under way.
Fev believes Hull suit the system Phil Brown deployed in the first half. He writes: "45 minutes gone playing 4-4-2 for City and we have something to show for it. You have no idea how frustrating it is to see your team play 4-5-1 week in week out to collect 0 points. 4-4-2 suits city much better and the partnership of Altidore and Vennegoor of Hesselink works brilliantly. Any chance of forwarding this to Phil Brown?" heh, heh, cheers Fev.
Joe writes: "Arsenal to win 3-1. It will be a scrappy affair but the extra man will count. I expect Hull to sit and close all space in behind and just let Arsenal play in front of them. Hat-trick for Russia with Love." Nice one Joe.
45 + 3 The half-time whistle blows in a controversial half which saw Hull score from the spot, although Vennegoor of Hesselink was definitely offside when he received the ball from Marney. Campbell should possibly have been sent off for the foul, but Boateng can have no complaints about his dismissal. Arsenal could also have had a spot-kick of their own when Bendtner appeared to be pushed in the back by Mendy. E-mail your thoughts on the half to warren.barner@bskyb.com
45 + 2 The free-kick is blocked only for the ball to rebound to Vermaelen but Hull are quick to close down again and the defender's shot is blocked.
45 + 1 That's the third time Boateng has been sent off against Arsenal and the seventh time he has seen red in his career,
45 It's a second yellow card for Boateng for a studs-up challenge on the knee of Sagna, who is still down receiving treatment.
44 Steven Mouyokolo does well to hold off the attentions of Arshavin as he shepherds the ball back to Myhill.
42 Clichy goes down in the box as Boateng puts his arms in teh air to signify no challenge in the box. Clichy gets up immediately and charges after Bullard and commits a foul on the Tigers man.
41 Great work from Eboue down the left as he cuts the ball back for Arshavin only for the Russian to check on to his left foot and shoot over.
40 Marriner brings Bendtner and George Boateng together for a chat after the pair went head to head. Both men are booked, although Boateng looks like he should have been shown a different colour. Four yellow cards now.
39 Dawson is quite rightly booked for a wild lunge on Denilson.
38 Fagan just manages to get in a cross from the left but the Gunners bring the ball clear.
37 Zayatte gets in a great block to keep out Bendtner's shot from inside the area, but the ball rebounds to Arshavin who shoots well over the bar.
36 Eboue looks to be brought down by Dawson but play goes on. Nasri gets into teh box but his lay-off is just behind Bendtner and the chance is gone.
35 Mendy shows great skill in going past Arsehavin down the right.
34 Denilson whips in a great free-kick on the right for Diaby to get the deftest of headers but his effort is off target by a good couple of yards.
33 High-tempo game now, but very stop-start as a series of fouls interrupts play.
31 Bendtner has penalty appeal waved away. Sagna crosses from the right and Mendy appears to go into the back of the Dane.
30 City were in a good position as Marney spread the ball out wide to Dawson, who plays the ball back to Bullard as the momentum is lost.
29 Bullard is on a roll as he storms forward, but he loses possession and Clichy breakss upfield.
28 Bullard beats the despairing dive of Almunia from the spot. No wacky fist-fighting celebration from the midfielder though!
28 Campbell is booked for the foul although there is a case he should have seen red.
27 Campbell shoves Vennegoor of Hesselink in the back and gives away a penalty. Replay shows Vennegoor of Hesselink was clearly offside.
26 Free-kick to Hull after Altidore is fouled by Campbell, but Bullard's shot lacks conviction.
25 Nasri's free-kick finds the head of Bendtner, but the Dane was moving away from goal and there is no power in his effort.
24 Fagan commits another foul - this time down the right which prompts the referee to have a word with the midfielder.
23 Dawson's inswinging corner is headed out by Diaby straight to Bullard, who shoots woefully wide.
22 Hull break forward and Campbell concedes a corner
21 Nasri's corner is flicked on by bendtner, with Thomas Vermaelen trying to steal in at the back post but he just can't quite make it.
20 Sagna sends in a great low cross which evades the outstretched arms of Myhill, as Mendy coolly puts the ball out for a corner.
19 Vennegoor of Hesselink tries to bend his run but is at least two yards offside.
18 Hull starting to get back into the game now.
17 Marney breaks down the right and sends in a cross which is caught easily by Almunia.
16 Myhill takes a free-kick but the ball just keeps coming back towards the Hull goal.
15 The Gunners are looking a cut above their opponents.
14 GOAL ARSHAVIN! Nicklas Bendtner picks out Andrey Arshavin on the left-hand side. The Russian is faced with Mendy and Kamil Zayatte, but bulldozes his way through them both and flicks the ball beyond Boaz Myhill.
12 Bernard Mendy wrestles Samir Nasri to the ground and concedes a free-kick.
11 Andy Dawson's cross is laid off by Vennegoor of Hesselink to Altidore in the area, but the watchful Campbell clears the danger.
10 Again Bullard looks for the run of Vennegoor of Hesselink, but this time the former Celtic striker mistimes his run and is offside.
9 The Tigers work the ball down the left-hand side, but play is switched to the right before Emmanuel Eboue brings the ball out for Arsenal.
8 Bullard floats in a delightful ball over the top for Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, who just fails to make contactl. Manuel Almunia comes out to collect.
7 The Gunners are playing their usual passing game but it's been a decent start by Hull.
6 Dean Marney penalised for a foul on Sagna near Arsenal's penalty area.
4 Sagna tries to pick out the run of Abou Diaby, but Bullard makes a good interception down Arsenal's right.
3 Half-chance for Jozy Altidore, who turns Sol Campbell but his shot is weak and wide.
2 Craig Fagan concedes a free-kick going through the back of Gael Clichy.
1 Arsenal get the match under way. Jimmy Bullard concedes an early free-kick. Confusing markings on the KC pitch which mixes up football and rugby league.
Sky Bet have made Hull 15/2 long shots to win this match while Jimmy Bullard is rated at 16/1 to open the scoring. Surely that's worth a punt?
Pre-match: Jimmy Bullard is retained in the Hull starting XI while Nick Barmby drops to the bench after the pair were involved in an altercation in front of members of the Women's Institute near the Humber Bridge. This is one of six changes Phil Brown makes following last week's 5-1 humiliation at Everton. Gunners captain Cesc Fabregas (hamstring) - the subject of alleged spitting allegations when the sides met at the Emirates Stadium last season - is absent for the second straight game for Arsenal and Alex Song (suspended) and Tomas Rosicky (groin) are replaced by Denilson and Emmanuel Eboue. And today's match official is Andre Marriner .
