Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has made three changes - two enforced - for the crucial Europa League last-16 first leg tie against Lille.

Missing from the side which lost so badly at Wigan on Monday were the ineligible Maxi Rodriguez and the injured Yossi Benayoun, while Sotirios Kyrgiakos dropped to the bench.

In came England right-back Glen Johnson for his first start since December 29 after a knee injury, centre-half Daniel Agger and forward Ryan Babel to play on the left of midfield.

Lille, who have lost just one of their last 16 home European fixtures, named nine of the side who earned the 1-1 draw against Fenerbahce in Istanbul which secured their passage from the last round.

Although leading scorer Gervinho was still sidelined by injury, there was a place for exciting winger Eden Hazard.
