FT: Nottingham Forest 1 Leeds 1

Thanks for all your comments this afternoon. Stay in touch for the Super Sunday clash between Liverpool and Arsenal at Anfield.

Full Time FULL TIME: Referee Tony Bates blows up for full-time. A thoroughly entertaining encounter at the City Ground. Forest were on fire early on and took the lead thanks to Dexter Blackstock but Lloyd Sam levelled nine minutes before the break. Gunter was lucky to stay on the pitch late on for stamping on Lloyd Sam but it was honours even in the end.

90+6 Connolly knocks long and he finds Johnson, who plays the ball down the line as the referee allows play to continue.

90+5 A throw in for Forest as Earnshaw looks to open up some space but Leeds win the ball back.

90+4 Good link up down the left and Becchio almost meets the low cross but he's not sharpe enough. At the other end Earnshaw is caught offside when replays show that he was just on.

90+2 Leeds have shown plenty of character since losing that early goal but Forest look for the winner but Tyson's cross is easily collected by Schmeichel.

90 There will be 6 (six) added minutes, which gives Forest fans an immediate lift.

Substitution88 SUBSTITUTION: Clayton comes on for Lloyd Sam.

87 Bertrand tries to open up some space for a shot but is pushed to the floor. Referee Bates again says play on.

85 Schmeichel hits the ball long as Connolly prepares to take a throw. Bradley Johnson goes over the challenge of Morgan, but nothing doing and the referee waves play on.

Substitution84 SUBSTITUTION: Moussi comes on for Blackstock for the final few minutes.

83 Tyson and Connolly go in together as the atmosphere picks up at the City Ground.

82 Replays show that Gunter was booked for stamping on the foot of Sanchez Watt as the referee gets the game underway..finally!

Yellow Card81 YELLOW CARDS: Sanchez Watt and Gunter are both booked.

80 Referee Bates talks to his assistants to find out exactly what happened. Sanchez Watt and Gunter are being talked too.

79 Frustration is boiling over in the Forest area as players come head-to-head. The referee attempts to calm everybody down.

78 Naylor nudges Earnshaw in the back and Forest win a free-kick which comes to nothing. The changes for Forest have made little impact it seems.

76 United have all the possession now. What a turnaround from the first quarter of the game which Forest dominated.

Yellow Card75 YELLOW CARD: Kelvin Wilson is late with a challenge and is immediately booked.

75 Lee Camp is bandaged up and ready to continue with a goal kick as the Leeds fans sing loud and proud behind the 'keeper.

73 Replays show Blackstock pulling the shirt of Naylor from the free-kick a few moments ago, which might have resulted in a penalty had the referee seen that.

71 Blood streams down the face of goalkeeper Camp and he is need of some attention.

70 Bessone wins another corner and it's another set piece for the visitors. The ball in is well collected by Camp but he takes a knock for his troubles.

69 Leeds should be ahead as the unmarked Sanchez Watt heades wide from the corner. A great opportunity from the man who is on-loan from Arsenal.

Substitution68 SUBSTITUTION: Another change for Forest as Tyson comes on for Majewski.

Yellow Card67 YELLOW CARD: Ryan Bertrand is booked for a late foul.

66 Bertrand does well to skip past his man, but he can't deliver a cross and the lose ball falls to McCleary, who attempts to line up a shot before he is quickly closed down.

64 Some nice football being played by the visitors as Bradley Johnson brings down his marker and the away fans are incensed as they saw Johnson being hauled back earlier on in the move. Referee Bates failed to spot it though.

Substitution62 SUBSTITUTION: Forest make a change as McCleary comes on for Anderson.

61 Becchio does well to work the ball wide for Bradley Johnson whose delivery is very poor.

60 Cohen is caught offside and Schmeichel knocks the ball long. Collins does well to clear the ball out for a throw as Forest build an attack.

58 Chris Gunter delivers from the right but the ball evades Blackstock and Earnshaw.

57 Majewski's corner is well met by Becchio at the near post and Leeds clear the ball but Forest are building some momentum now.

55 Wilson clears Kilkenny's inswinging free-kick. Lloyd Sam collects from the resulting throw and he fires his cross come shot right across goal. Three Leeds players were ahead of the ball.

Yellow Card54 YELLOW CARD: Kilkenny is shown the first card of the game for that late tackle. No complaints from the Leeds man who was very late.

53 A slow tempo to the second half which suits Leeds as Sam losses his footing and Kilkenny goes in hard on Majewski.

51 Naylor is late on Blackstock and that might have warranted a yellow card but Tony Bates is keen to keep the cards in his back pocket.

50 Morgan fins Cohen, but he can't find Earnshaw with the header. They opened up a chance but Cohen failed to find the striker.

49 Bessone attmpts to find Becchio with a long ball, but the ball drifts harmlessley over Camp's goal.

48 United have settled in quickly at the start of the second half as they attempt to push Forest back.

46 Bertrand gives the ball away to Johnson, who fails to connect with the ball 30-yards or so out.

45 Forest kick-off and we're underway in the second half.

Half Time HALF TIME: Honours even at the break at the City Ground. Forest started on fire and deservedly took the lead through Dexter Blackstock with a well taken header but Leeds grew into the game and restored parity through Lloyd Sam's well taken effort.

45+1 Schmeichel hits the ball long and out for a goal kick which Camp takes and referee Tony Bates blows for half-time.

45 Blackstock fails to connect with the corner and Leeds have a goal kick which Schmeichel prepares to take. We're entering stoppage time and we have just the one extra minute to play.

44 Sanchez Watt presses Camp and the 'keeper has to clear. At the other end Blackstock's shot is blocked for a corner.

41 Johnson brings down Cohen and Forest have a dangerous free-kick from the left.

39 Anderson attempts a long-range effort and the ball fizzes just over the crossbar. A good response by the home side.

38 Well, a goal out of nothing for the visitors who will be delighted with that equaliser. The Leeds fans are in jubilant mood after that.

36 Leeds stun Forest with the equaliser. Morgan gives the ball away to United who work the ball well to Johnson and his wonderful delivery is headed into the back of the net by the unmarked Lloyd Sam.

36 GOAL: Sam (36)

35 Anderson is back on his feet as Kilkenny's attempted effort is blocked by Forest defenders.

34 Lloyd Sam wins a challenge with Paul Anderson, who is hurt after that tackle.

32 Morgan drives forward this time for Simon Grayson's side but he can't find a decent cross and the ball drifts out for a goalkick.

30 Sanchez Watt presses well but Forest look to break and Majewski cuts in but his attempted effort is very poor as he tries to find the top corner. Forest had players in attack there and maybe Majewski should have crossed rather than shoot on sight.

29 Better pressure by the visitors and they have seemed to settle down in the last five minutes. A few more positive signs for United.

27 The United fans are in good voice as Bessone is challenged by Gunter as he attempts to find a cross but the Welsh defender does well to guide the ball out for a goalkick.

25 Camp comes alongway through a crowd of players to punch the ball clear. Good goalkeeping and Forest are back on the attack.

24 Sanchez Watt sets up Becchio, but his touch is very heavy which allows Camp to charge out and block his effort. Well, a chance out of nothing for United and Becchio might have done better.

22 Forest win a free-kick at the other end, 35-yards out. Majewski's attempted effort fails to trouble Schmeichel and the ball sails over the crossbar.

21 Johnson wins a throw for Leeds and something to build on perhaps. Sam is challenged by McKenna and he claims a foul in the area but the referee gives the free-kick the other way.

19 United haven't threatened thus far and to be honest, they haven't looked in the same league as Forest, but there is plenty of time to go in this game.

18 Collins knocks the ball out for a Forest throw but the visitors manage to clear this time.

16 On this evidence, Jamie could well be right, because they're playing Premier League football at the moment as Earnshaw goes for goal again but his shot is well blocked.

Feedback15 Jamie thinks Forest will be playing in the Premier League next season. He says: "Forest look unbeatable at home and I think we could well be seeing the playing premier league football next season."

14 Magnificent play by Forest once again as Earnshaw links up with Blackstock before the Wales striker strikes the far post with Schmeichel beaten all ends up. So unlucky!

13 Blackstock scored 12 Championship goals last season and now he's up and running once again as Forest win the ball back.

11 Bessone gets a bit of the ball ahead of Earnshaw. The hosts have had all the possession and deserve their early lead.

9 Forest score their first league goal this season thanks to Dexter Blackstock's fine header. From the short throw, Gunter delivers a left-footed cross which the striker connects with to send the ball into the far corner past Schmeichel.

Goal9 GOAL: Blackstock (9)

9 Forest have a throw deep in Leeds territory which Gunter prepares to take.

8 Watt collects the lose ball but then losses control and Forest are back on the ball.

7 Collins brings down Blackstock and a free-kick is awarded which Cohen swings in but Leeds clear their lines.

6 We may have the makings of a good open match today. Forest have settled well and have caused some early problems for the visitors.

5 Cohen and Gunter are looking dangerous in these opening minutes. Bessone goes in hard on his man, but referee Tony Bates waves away claims for a penalty.

4 An excellent early stop by the United stopper who had a fantastic opening game against Derby despite defeat.

2 Forest immediately settle into their familiar passing rhythm and they almost take the early lead as Gunter's excellent cross is almost turned home by Blackstock but Schmeichel manages to get his body in the way.

1 Leeds kick-off and we're underway at the City Ground. United win a throw on the half-way line.

Feedback Tom from Hemel Hempstead is first to make a prediction today. He writes: "I think Nottingham Forest will have too much for Leeds, who I think will struggle in the Championship this season. After feeding all the statistical data into my new football program, the conclusion is that Forest will win 3-0." Well Tom, I wish I had your 'new football program' too!

We're just about ready for kick-off. Don't forget, if you wish to air your views to Raz...that's me! Send your comments to razwan.mirza@bskyb.com

Leeds managed to recover from their opening day defeat at home to Derby with an emphatic 4-0 victory against Lincoln in the League Cup on Wednesday.

The home side have yet to register a win in any competition after losing to Burnley before a shock Carling Cup first round exit at the hands of Bradford in midweek.

Both sides are looking for their first league win of the season after opening day defeats, so plenty to play for.

Hello and welcome to the City Ground ahead of this Championship encounter between Nottingham Forest and Leeds.
