Hodgson: Without Andreasen

Manchester United will be hoping to keep up their stunning form against a Fulham side firmly entrenched in the bottom three.

Fulham's miserable season continued last week as Nolberto Solano gave West Ham a controversial 1-0 victory at Craven Cottage.

Roy Hodgson's side have won just three games in the Premier League all season and remain four points from safety.

They will also be without Leon Andreasen for the visit of United after the Dane was sent off for protesting against Solano's goal last Saturday.

Diomansy Kamara and Brian McBride started in attack against The Hammers but Hodgson could make changes.

New American signing Eddie Johnson is challenging for a starting place, while Jari Litmanen is back in training following his heart scare last week.

Fitness concerns for Fergie

Manchester United have bounced back brilliantly from their surprise defeat to Manchester City earlier this month, first thrashing Arsenal 4-0 and then destroying Newcastle 5-1 at St James' Park.

They are three points behind Arsenal but have a superior goal difference and would climb to the summit if they beat Fulham and The Gunners lose to Aston Villa.

Sir Alex Ferguson has a number of fitness concerns, with Ryan Giggs, Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra all doubtful.

Giggs missed the victory over Newcastle because of a slight knee injury, while Evra came off with a stomach virus at St James' Park and Vidic suffered a calf strain.

Ferguson may also have one eye on the UEFA Champions League clash with Lyon on Tuesday, which is delicately poised at 1-1 after the first leg in France.

Louis Saha, a goalscoring substitute against Newcastle, could start against his former club if either Rooney or Tevez are rested.

Gary Neville is closer to a return after playing 60 minutes for the reserves.
