McAllister: Seagulls visit

Leeds boss Gary McAllister is set to name an unchanged squad when his side host fellow play-off challengers Brighton.

It's sixth versus eighth at Elland Road as Leeds look to add to their fine win over Walsall last weekend with another precious three points against promotion-chasing rivals Brighton.

McAllister's men are timing their play-off push expertly after only suffering one defeat in their last eight fixtures.

The Seagulls are two points ahead of Saturday's opponents and will be hoping to build on Monday's hard-fought draw at Nottingham Forest with a result in West Yorkshire.

McAllister could hand a start to skipper Jonathan Douglas after he came off the bench to feature in the last ten minutes of Leeds' 2-0 win over Walsall following his recovery from knee ligament damage.

Midfielder Andrew Hughes will again miss out as he serves the second game of a two-match ban after only recently returning to action following a knee injury.

McAllister has no other new injury or suspension worries as his side head into the game looking for their fourth win in six games.

Westlake worry

Andrew Whing returns to the Brighton squad but Ian Westlake will be missing for the trip to play-off rivals Leeds.

Whing will resume at right-back in place of stand-in Gary Hart after serving a two-match ban.

Westlake has recovered from the calf injury which kept him out of Monday's draw at the City Ground but is ineligible to face Leeds under the terms of his loan deal from Elland Road.

Tommy Fraser is fit after sustaining a knock against Swindon on Saturday and should be on the bench, and fellow midfielder Paul Reid (knee) is back in training but is short of match fitness.

Left-back Matt Richards is still out with a hamstring injury so Kerry Mayo will keep his place, while Adam El-Abd and Adam Hinshelwood (both knee) are still out.
